Malava has so much potential in tourism. Tour guides should be welcoming tourists to the forest for nature walks, photography, bike trails, bird watching and nature TV shows.
Thanks for this highlights👍👍. I am a proud resident of this great county and must confess Malava is lagging behind, a true eye sore within Kakamega County. May the next governor sort out this💯.
The pain we feel as malava residents...ata before the governor the mp comes from this same place,we have MCA's,,,all this people failed us big-time! inauma
Legrand strikes again! Another great one. Highly informative. The question about the first Luyha accent. I would lean heavily on Maragoli being the language we all spoke in the jungles of Congo. I say this because I watched this documentary about the people that still live in the forests of Congo. These people speak with a pure Maragoli accent. And then we have this Maragoli tribe in Uganda that we dropped off along the way from Congo. This would lead one to conclude that Maragoli is the original accent and the rest of the luyha kin added 'phlegm' (Kho) to it. Oh man, am I going to get pushback on this one
I have had confusion in the between malava and Malaba but thank you for clarification. Kindly clarify the difference between Kimilili and Kiminini. I also didn't know that there's a tropical forest in Malava. I will visit soon. I love nature a lot. What is the difference between Malava forest and Kakamega forest

My brother, how are you ? Kindly help show case the property market in western area the area like Kakamega and it’s environs.I am asking this because most of the property or real estate show are mostly featured in Nairobi Nakuru and Kisumu I have not seen much for western Kenya…
He just neglected a very big part of the Kakamega. It was deliberate and sad. Ikolomani, Shinyalu, Malava, Lugari, Likuyani, and even parts of Lurambi were just neglected. Unofficially it is said he is on record saying so. Even employment was deliberate against those regions.
Thanks kwa kutukumbuka, that's why i told you not to just focus huko Mumias,Butere na town.Malava and Shinyalu constituencies have been neglected by our county government.
Malava Sub-County is my second home. West Kabras Ward, Burundu Village. We've had Angatia and Shitanda in Ministerial Positions both in Moi and Kibaki govts. The MP, Injendi has been in Govt too. Now we have a PS, Dr. Betty Inyangala... I don't understand. Deputy Governor, Prof Kutima hakufanya kitu. Generally, Abalasi are just contented with laxity.
