I do believe is done on purpose so is a selling point for a rebadged car!!!! In my opinion i’ve drove both brands and the difference is minimal……. !!! Is all a selling strategy!!
@@amitchell4206 no it has higher quality, the paint job on my Toyota was painted better than my other toyota's . I know lexus paint job, they have more superior paint quality checks . Go to dealer and compare the lexus paint vs toyota paint quality . There is massive difference. By the way , i have diven alot of luxury cars, and mercedes and lexus has better paint job. They have stricter measures for all luxury cars!!
buy a Hyundai, toyota or Kia is different than buying BMW , Lexus , or Mercedes. Those cars are in another league of difference. This is why you paying enormous amount of money for them.
You could thank the energy efficient windows for this! Look up “solar convergence” and you will see multiple examples of sunlight reflecting off of windows melting cars, grass, siding etc. it is worse during the fall due to angle of the sun. Unfortunately it is not a manufacturer defect, only thing you can do is find the source of the reflection and stop parking there.

not true, Lexus has more detail in thier paint quality . I know my toyota was painted in lexus factory.
