It would have been great if I saw this video before going to the DMV. I have a CDL A with OTR experience. I thought adding the passengers endorsement was just a matter of passing the quiz at the DMV-That's how I added my Hazmat, tanker, and doubles/triples endorsements. I made an appointment at the DMV in my home state of Florida, waited for a few hours to take the quiz, passed the quiz, and then they asked me if I did a road test. I was confused because I had already spent a year driving tractor/trailers OTR, but anyway, they explained to me that I needed to redo the road test completely in a bus. I asked them why they didn't tell me that before I spent time and money taking the quiz. If they told me that from the beginning I would have just left the DMV without wasting any time or money. Anyway, I couldn't find any local places that let me do a road test in a bus, so I gave up on getting that endorsement.
Have been using Driving Acamedy’s videos yo which feels like theft just to help me get thru school. With that said if they even read this … 🎉HUGE HUGE thank you! Truly! I do have what may seem like a redundant question. If I already have and passed the written and physical exam for a Class B AND I also have passed the written and physical tests for Class A with all ELDTs including Haz, why do are they still putting a Class A Pass restriction on me??? I already have the experience and testings for School and Pass so why is diff? If that makes sense, plz and thank you!
Im currently Going thru the same thing, i applied at greyhound and if they hire you i believe they help you out with the test part, as they hire people with just a permit.

Why can’t you drive a school but with a passenger endorsement also?
School buses and normal passenger busses are often classified differently, which is why they are separate endorsements! Thank you for watching!
Hey your videos are great. I have taken the written portion and now I need to do the driving. Where do I get the vehicle to do it?

Glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching!
Do you need a P endorsement to just have a single passenger with you in a Class A or any CMV that requires a CDL?
No
No, only for any car you carry more than 16 people including the driver.
