Congratulations on going to NNP school!! Another supply would be a great neonatal stethoscope. I recommend MDF procardial stethoscope. It's a cardiology style that has infant and pediatric attachments and the sounds are magnificent!
Nice video! Good luck with your studies. I get the mechanical pencil thing. Lol. Something about the precise and firm texture focuses me. And that is what I need, for sure.
Thank you for doing this video! Your IG post gave me the motivation I needed to keep going for my MSN to obtain my NP! I was allowing people to project their insecurities and instill doubt in me! I have been a nurse 2yrs but finishin up with my last 3 courses for my BSN and then on to my MSN! So thank you! I have been following u since the beginnning of your nursing journey and you have definitely been an inspiration! Good luck on your journey and already proud of you! In sure u will do great! Looking forward to following this journey with you 🥰💜
@@fatiie thank you so much for your kind words. I have been in healthcare for abt 16yrs and I have worked in various aspects of healthcare but I always knew I wanted to be a nurse and I know it is my life’s purpose to do more within the nursing community 💜
@@TiyanaSmith that's all you need: to know yourself, know the direction you want to take, and have a desire/purpose in that direction. You have a lot of time spent in Healthcare, so you've gained a lot of inside knowledge and experience, that's what you need to direct your life and your next move. If you have any questions or are being held back by ideas, talk to someone who knows about the field and who you respect and find answers to what you're worried about, then move forward with the knowledge you have. I wish you the best through nursing school and through licensing.. just take your next step and get started 😊
I also want to go the NP route, I’m really interested in the Ob nurse practitioner/certified nurse midwife dual degree! I’m in the last semester of my ADN now and it seems so far away 😅
I been in the NICU for over a year and I’m starting the process of looking and maybe applying to NNP programs ♥️ it’s exciting. I’m glad I get to follow you on this journey and see how it goes. I’m guessing you’re Level III?
I’m happy that you’re beginning this journey to become an NP! I also want to go to grad school to become an NP. I don’t know if you’ve looked on Reddit, but there is a LOT of backlash there for people who decide to go to NP/PA school. Both RN’s (r/nursing) and MD’s (r/noctor and r/medicine) ridicule NP’s on there, so it’s a bit discouraging for people like me. Do you have any advice on this? I want to become an NP, but I don’t want to lose respect from the people in my field. I’m also wondering if this negativity is just on Reddit, or in the workplace too.
They call NP’s/PA’s “fake doctors.” And if you want real care, you should “go to a medical doctor” because midlevels “don’t have a good education.” They also think that midlevels shouldn’t have independent practice. Honestly, they sound very insecure. There is no place for an ‘Us vs. Them’ mentality in healthcare. It’s a team effort. But instead, MD’s nitpick everything an NP/PA does. The patient’s best interests should always come first, it’s not a contest. Also, if NP’s/PA’s didn’t have a good education, then they wouldn’t be employed by hospitals and clinics across the country. There are bad MD’s and bad NP’s/PA’s, but those people shouldn’t define the field. The majority of midlevels are very good at what they do!
Curious to know when you do become an NPP are you planning to go back to working full time? If so, do to plan to pull back from doing social media as a career then?
I don’t know if NP is Worth spending all my life time for because i have tried youtube l associates and some others and still failed 4 attempt. I feel so frustrated don't know what to do anymore don’t even have time for my own kids any more 💔💔💔😔😔.
Frustration is a very positive sign. It means that the solution to your problem is within range, but what you're currently doing isn't working, and you need to change your approach in order to achieve your goal.

What are they ridiculing? What's wrong with going to get your NP/PA??
