  • Have you ever been in a season where you feel stuck? You look around and don’t see success or purpose with where your feet are planted. You don’t feel qualified (or sometimes comfortable) doing what God has called you to do in that season.
Success. It is a word that carries individual meaning and can change from season to season of life. But at the end of it all, success comes from a humble place of fully occupying your God-given space. Because it’s not about us, it’s about Him and His purpose. It’s not about us feeling qualified, it’s about who He is and how He works through us to fill the gaps.
In this episode, you will hear Candace and Heather discuss:
Moments in their life where the “definition of success” changed and how others around them responded to those changes
Good advice, bad advice, right advice, and how we ultimately need to listen to God’s direction and wisdom
The difference (literally and biblically) between humble and humility
Trusting that God is doing something bigger in the assignments He gives you, that are not easy or comfortable
Head to Candace.com to download the FREE guide, and to order Heather’s latest book, Right Where You Belong.

Wow this got me. I'm 34 with a soon to be 14 year old son and my husband and I decided a year ago I would be a housewife (which has always been my dream) but immediately I felt worthless and without drive and purpose. I have allowed so many family voices to be louder than God's and my husband's. It does hurt that my parents think I'm not fulfilling any purpose, but I'm learning to lean into God and His will for my life. The best part is I have so much time to study His Word, I even have Bible studies 3 days a week!

i’m surprised you don’t have more followers. Is a shame. You are such an example of a beautiful kind, decent woman. I can’t understand why other shallow and sun women have such big followers like kim kardashians when they are airheads and have nothing to offer. I learn so much from you Candance! thank you!!

I used to live in West Chicago, and I believe Wheaton, IL was where I saw NKOTB for the first time 🙂 Just thought that was cool!

Not loving this as much as season 1. Stories start but don't really finish but I'll hang in for the whole thing for sure.

I loved season 1 but didn't have time to start watching season 2. Then started on ep 1 but couldn't finish it. Finally, decided to dedicate some time to finish ep 1 and WOW! It's like the last 10-15 minutes was especially for me. Now watching this and I'm just sure that God wants me to hear it because what you're covering is exactly what I'm going through! ❤

Wow - Wheaton is the town next to mine and I grew up in unincorporated West Chicago. So neat to hear my towns! I'm loving this discussion about purpose. Thank you both!

I relate to the you think you are snobby and better because you are quiet...like how does being a quiet person equate to that...and it's people just making up stuff about you instead of introducing themselves and getting to know you...

Hey Candace… I recently Broke up with the man I thought I was gonna marry. I don’t have an Instagram account, so I can’t ever ask any questions when you are asking for a video. Do you think there’s where you can have us ask our questions on UA-cam?
I need some help with knowing my identity and not letting the break up change who I am or who I want to be!
