    GRILLED CHUCK EYE STEAK RECIPE
The night before or up to an hour before the cook, season the chuck eye steaks with your favorite seasoning or BBQ rub. Be sure to cover both sides. Set in the fridge until it is time to cook.
On your gas grill, set two burners to HIGH and light. Close the lid and let the grill temp come up to approx 450 degrees.
When the grill has come up to temp, add the steaks, close the lid and let them cook on one side for a few minutes until there is a good sear on the first side.
Once you have a good sear on the first side of the steaks, flip them and give the other side a few minutes to get a good sear.
Continue to flip the steaks every few minutes until they are done to your liking. Let rest for 5-10 minutes and serve.

What made me an even bigger fan is that you owned the fact that you may have overcooked it. That shows integrity and transparency. I totally get it because I’m a runner and there’s good runs and bad runs just like good cooking sessions and ones that are off. Having said that as an avid outdoor cook myself you earned even more of my respect brother.🇺🇸

They are hard to find because you only get a couple from each side of beef you cut. That's what makes me wonder why they are so cheap, they are as tender as a loin cut which is 3x the price!

Quick tip. Take em off the grill 10 degrees lower than your aspired temp and cover in foil. Let them rest 15 minutes in the foil. The external heat on the steak continues to cook the core and the conducting heat in the foil keeps all the juices in for an even more tender steak. Hope it helps and give it a try

i did this last Sunday. I bought some sliced thin round steaks, 2 lbs. for 7 dollars. I took each slice and lightly season each slice and stack them on top of each other, pour olive oil over it, and Press them down hard. Put into the frig over night. Took them out press down hard on it again. Put out on the grill i smoked it for 30 min, Then flame broiled it to my likeness. Pull it off wrap it up and let it rest for 45 min OMG It looked like 1 big steak, It was so tender, juicy, and delicious! 👌👌 Do not pass up these thin slices of meat Nor the shaving either. THERE EXCELLENT TO MAKE STEAKS OUT OF THEM 🥩🥩

I took a fork and poked it to death on both sides. Then i put it in a heavy baking soda brine over night. Took it out risen it off good, Pat dry. Then i pour butter all over it and salt and pepper THAT IT. 30 min heavy smoke, 30 min flame broils. brong it in to rest put my other seasonings while it resting. So I grilled them like I would grill a regular steak and they were chewy it was good but it was just a little more chewy and I figured it probably needed to cook a little longer. So I think they were actually Angus chuck steaks but they were not fix lights Amy they were thick but not like a big chuck steak or anything. Like a real big one. Chuck STEAK has been a butcher's secret for generations and generations. That is what a butcher takes home.
It appears to me you're baking that steak instead of grilling it by having a cover on it through the cooking process. Covering towards the end to add more smoke flavor is good, but high heat fast the way you cook a steak. And omit all that MSG you added before you cooked it. Butter and Worcestershire sauce!
    30 years is a high-end restaurant business!
