You can tell from the end clip alone that someone probably made Nic very insecure about her singing voice while she was on the rise to being a top artist and I hate them for it because she has a beautiful voice, it just needs proper training so she can strengthen it. I hate that she never feels confident enough to sing with minimal back track because I believe her vocals can slay and you can see every time she performs she really wants to go HAM but there's something there, whether it's personal insecurity or someone who made her feel like her voice wasn't good enough, that stops her.
