I'm surprised you were the only one to upload a video on UA-cam of off-roading at Hollister Hills. I recently tested an SJ chassis Forester as well, and was pleasantly surprised at how capable it is. It definitely exceeds the capabilities of my XV Crosstrek off-road. I also really like the music. Thanks for uploading!
Hey Andre! I'm thinking about taking my 2014 Forester to Hollister Hills and am wondering if you think skid plates are necessary out there or not? Also would it be safe to go by myself or do I really need a recovery buddy to come along? I've never done anything like that but it sure does look like a fun day!
hey there! thanks for the comment. for me yea skid are necessary, as the old saying goes better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it. its always good to have a buddy with you especially if its your first time. Not just for recovery but to help with spotting also. Good luck!
