When it comes to refuelling, you have to use the key to open and to close the caps. However, what you can do, is open the first cap with the key, underneath the cap is a spring loaded silver collar, if you push that back with your fingers, you can then remove the key, which will allow you to open the second cap. This saves you doing the shuffle, of refuelling one side, then locking it to and then opening the other side, while holding the petrol nozzle! Also if you don’t need a full tank, just open the left cap and refuel the left tank. When you start the bike, a solenoid opens, which allows the fuel tanks to equalise. Obviously its a bit more of a faff than a single tank, but you soon get use to it. Congrats on the new bike, and enjoy, they are great bikes. 👍
Nice video, just traded in my standard T7 in for a World Raid model which I hope to take delivery of as soon as my dealer has swapped over my accessories! Loved the T7 but the WR is the next step up. Safe riding.
Love it! The WR is coming to Oz this year. I can't wait to get my hands on one. I'll be pre-ordering in a month, or so. Tha last shot of you travelling along that lonely(ish) road was beautiful.
Nice new bike Merv, looks great 👍. That 700 twin is such a good engine. By the way Ride magazine tested a range of heated grips and the Ultimate Addons came out top. Cheers, Steve
I think this is the best adv bike on the market at the moment. I'm just curious how suzuki will do with their new 800. But suzuki design is always behind all others, who knows why.
Hi Merv nice bike. What is the motorway riding like? Is there a huge difference in top end compared to the africa twin? I rode a 1000 africa twin across Croatia and Bosnia, I've just moved to wexford and commute to Dublin daily. I don't know wether to go for one of these or go to an 1100 africa twin. I plan in doing some green lane stuff looking for a good alrounder. I've just been told the performance on the motorway isn't great. Let me know your taught.

Thanks. Hopefully by now you have your new bike and loving the WR.
@@mervsbikingadventures Was worth the wait, have had it for a handful of days, feels a more accomplished bike than the original T7!

I have the GoPro media pack that I was hoping would give me better results.

I’ve only just reached 1000km on it but yes it is an amazing bike to ride.
Two tanks! One for petrol, one for diesel!
One for diesel and the other for adblue

Motorway is fine. Wind protection is probably better on the twin but there two very different bikes and both well capable of doing that journey.
Is the crf still in the stable?
Yes the CRF300 Rally is still there but the 1100 has gone off to a new loving home.
Giz a shot mista
Anytime 👍
Nice video until it became a music video. We want to hear the engine not music blasting
The next one will be better now with the exhaust changes.
The sound on this video is extremely BAD. I coldnt watch anymore. Nice bike!
Sorry to hear that.
