It's really eye-opening and thought-provoking seeing practical real-world usage regarding these kinds of tools. All too often such topics can become an obsession with methodologies, abstract theories, and buzzwords. Seeing Danny's personal story is more than just the specifics of one individual; it immediately made me reflect upon which approaches would or would not be useful in my particular situation. Thanks for sharing, Danny. Great video.
Hi Dany, my feedback is that I got quiet confused while you were trying to explain your new process. I paused the video when you showed your notes, I want to suggest to add visual reference from the beginning, I think that would be easier, because I really got lost, even though, I continued watching to the last minute.
Being half blind, road cycling is dangerous. Cant really cycle of paths around me very quickly, all mountin bike terrain... Would like to get put at some point.
Question - if you are taking notes and adding tasks in Morgen (whether on mobile or windows app) how do you get those into Obsidian and isn't this adding an extra step into your processes if it is a manual step rather than automated syncing. Just wondering as not sure there is an automated way to integrate morgen and obsidian
Yes it is manual and deliberately so. Not all ideas are useful, many just small notes that might be redundant later, so I like to have at least 2 'touches' with the ideas. I find with them in Morgen I don't forget/lose them as they are in my task list. There is more I could say but I will add this to my Q&A for this week - in discord 😁
Please put your monitors WAY HIGHER! You're constantly looking down and eventually you'll develop a pain in your neck. You're young and you don't think about it but someday you may regret you didn't.
@@DannyHatcherTech The title right now says "When and I why I use obsidian" There is an extra "i" in the title. Also I love your setup in these past videos. What obsidian theme do you use?
I didn't get notified about this comment sorry! Thanks for the title spot - I use the default theme with a little css snippet for the top. Discord would be the best place to ask questions 😁

Glad I could shed some practical light 😁
Why don't you buy a couple of arms for the monitors so you can put them at eye level? They seem like they are too low.
I can raise them.
For now my preference ia to kewp them there 😁
Can I ask which office chair you are using there? Mine broke and I need a good new one. Your's looks comfy
To be honest I got it from my neighbour so I don't know - sorry 😁

Thanks for the suggestion.
I’m curious: as someone who does a lot of reading and writing, do you ever want to write a book? Or do you think digital media is better?
