Life was so much simpler back then we have all the gadgets in our lives to make things easier and we are always in a hurry I would love to live in a nice quite town like Mb
It’s was such a sad day, when Aunt Bee died. Played by longtime actor: Francis Bavier. It is stated that she had 20 or 30 or more cats in her house. At the time of her demise.
I'm here after seeing this episode on me TV :) I will never see Aunt Bee the same lol, and was like a young girl again! The song was wrong we have plenty of love from Jesus but what the world needs now is more episodes of Andy Griffith! I am convinced that would change our morale around a little bit. People are too busy watching reality TV that has nothing to do with reality! My son is almost 5 and he always sees Is the life lesson in every episode we watch. At the beginning of the episode it's him and his daddy fishing but today I see parents AND children stuck staring at their phones!:( it BREAKS MY HEART.... LET'S BE OLD FASHIONED AGAIN GUYS!!
If you don’t like it go watch one filmed with a camera from the early 2000s in 180p, it’s hard to screen capture because streaming services don’t let you.
There's kind of a subtle profoundness about this scene that I only just realized. For example, in this scene, Aunt Bee is singing "Toot, Toot, Tootsie!" by Al Jolson, which was famously one of the songs to be included in the first major movie with sound, The Jazz Singer (1927). In fact, Al Jolson, before performing the song, tells the crowd in the movie, "You ain't heard nothing yet," which marked the death of the silent film era and ushered in modern Hollywood as we know it. Add to the fact that Ron Howard is singing along with Aunt Bee, who would later famously become a prominent Hollywood director in his own right and also be a major figure in cinematic history. Just thought I'd share.

I’m 23, grew up watching this show on VHS. Always loved this show, always will. I catch myself whistling this song every once in awhile.
I was just singing this song…to my dog 😂 And my husband said isn’t that Aunt Bee’s song after she drank the elixir? Yes…yes it is. Classic.

My elderly mother has always loved this show. I recently started watching it with her and I’m hooked!
What a fun drunk. Sort of sweet and happy. Adorable. Opie was having the time of his life until the sheriff ruined it all.

good for her there’s something so special about cats.
This is one of the best episodes EVER! I laugh so hard at this one 😂😂classic!
I love it! Andy and Barn were surprised but still appreciated it!
I think that Aunt Bee and Opie should have been out on Tour together. They made a great duet.
sounds like a constipated cat howling in pain.

ua-cam.com/video/MLK0vEpnTtQ/v-deo.htmlsi=6ke3rwSzUEX4yoXQ Got the audio fixed up and the video isnt shaky now, thanks for reminding me to fix it!
@@gavinrobinson2270 Love Andy Griffith thanks for posting it
Fix the video!
sorry, at least its better than the 2000s cameras
Good but you need to fix up the out of sync sound.
Yea sorry it was a problem with the living room tv. It’s fixed now so maybe I’ll remake this video
@@gavinrobinson2270 - really? -
I think it can be fixed in windows live movie maker.
@@Bobby-fj8mk I’m not sure where the video is but it’s somewhere on my phone, it’d be easier if I remade it and maybe I could do it better
Fix it already! One of the best Griffith scenes ever.
Good grief so sick of everything politicized....🤨🤮
Exactly why I hate politics, people make it their whole personality
