Dpr live is actually one of top Korean rappers, he's part of dpr crew which is very known in the underground industry. I recommend you check out his tracks Legacy/ Kiss Me + Neon/ Know Me (feat Dean) and Please. :)
Iirc this is actually DPR Live 3rd appearance on Hwasa-related songs; 1) Hwasa - I'm Bad Too (feat. DPR Live) 2) Uhm Jung Hwa - Hop in (feat. Hwasa & DPR Live) 3) DPR Live - Hula Hoops (feat. Beenzino & Hwasa) The song didn't really grab me on my first listen but later around on my 3rd/4th listen, it really grew on me so much. I feel like this happened quite a lot to me for most songs (especially with Twice/other groups with cutesy songs). It's just so groovy and has such nice beats to it. Totally perfect for summer vibe. It's quite simple yet so freakin catchy ngl and totally such radio-friendly mainstream pop songs. Also, Hwasa's part really got me good.
The hula hoops they're rapping and singing about are earrings. You know, those big a$$ hula hoop sized earrings that were popular in the 80's, especially with female rappers and ghetto chicks.
Beenzino is hugely recognized in the korean hip-hop scene for his unique & distinct flow. Hihgly recommend you guys to check out some of his other stuff such as "So What", "Boogie On & On", "The fearless ones", "Born Hater" etc...
