- Hey All! I discovered this was a cover song from an artist from the first half of the 1900's that I am not familiar with, named Arthur Fields. Even though I have not heard the original, you can definitely tell she put her own style on this one, and it sounds beautiful. It also fit the film perfectly.

Omg I LOVE this song! I think it’s so cool how they took a song from 1918 and gave it a modern taste. Haunting and beautiful ❤
“You’re not innocent…you’re not special. It’ll all be taken from you. Just as it was taken from me!”
Now I have another haunting and bittersweet song stuck in my head.
I had the pleasure of seeing Chelsea live back in June, what an amazing show...it seems no matter what song Chelsea covers, they are vastly different to the original songs, if you weren't aware, you'd think it was her own..the only cover song I know of that was recognizable was Ozzy's Crazy Train ,but that's only because it was a collaboration with other artists...I have a request, it's a live performance by P J Harvey, the clip will say 2001, even though it was from Sydney's Big Day Out in 1999, the song is Rid of Me...now I'm going to pop over to your other video and check out X
I listened to that album a lot. PJ is cool ;)
@@conditionsunderground there was an interview Polly did quite a long time ago where she spoke of a musical artist to keep your eye on, she was speaking about Chelsea Wolfe..P J Harvey and Chelsea Wolfe are right up there as being the best shows I've attended
@@pazwretzky4673 I have never been to one of her shows but she is fun, I am sure it was great!
This song and "16 psyche" is always gonna be in my top 3
Just watched X again and looked this song up and there your. Video was
Cool that you did this :) So haunting... I am intrigued to watch your reaction to X even though I usually don't like slasher movies ;) Btw; you said classic Chelsea - you didn't do a lot of Abyss, I think you heard only Carrion Flowers - it's her most liked album so far. The album really has a very different sound (Maybe "Crazy Love" and the outro are a bit of an exception) - need a recommendation? ;)
I quite like Crazy Love, it has a similar vibe to it as Deranged For Rock And Roll...what songs on Abyss are standouts for you ?
@@pazwretzky4673 "Grey Days", "Survive" and "After The Fall" are my favourites in that order, but all songs on this album are sick so it's hard to choose only a few if you want to choose all...
@@conditionsunderground I knew Grey Days would be among them, I love Survive as well, but to be honest my question was unfair, because she has so many great songs throughout her discography, no one should have to choose 🙂
@@pazwretzky4673 😉
The movie sucked but Chelsea wolfe is, as always, awesome. Periodt.
I thought it was terrific!
