I inherited a 500 trees oil palm plantation and I planted 5 this year and hoping to plant 300 trees next year, I am 44 years old and hope to plant 10,000 trees by the time I am 50.I live frugally and with purpose. I know the role and importance of money in this life and know that it is responsibility that God has given me to manage which I will give account of some day.
You should plant more...five for this year is too small... Instead of waiting till next year to plant three hundred....plant more this year ...the ones you planted this year would have grown for one year instead of starting next year....I challenge you to plant more thks year

God bless you Dr. Charles Apoki for the guidance. Last year I planted 45 Jackfruit trees, this year November by God's grace I plan to plant 500 Jackfruit trees so that I will enjoy my old age after retirement.

You are right Dr Apoki. I don’t want to be old & broke, I am seriously investing in my future (& my wife’s). Banking on your children to finance your old age is not a good idea, they will have their own challenges in life.

Sir, what is your opinion about GMO crops? The elite are pushing these suspect seedless crops.
Seeds are a gift from God, which gives farmers freedom. Now these GMO varieties are seedless, so the farmer has to buy what was previously free.
