He overestimated Jerry’s ability to wear shoes, and they are Jerry’s children. It could be that he just overestimated their ability to keep electronics from getting wet.
Morty was adorable in this episode lmao honestly his animation’s been really diverse this season. they played a lot with off-model looks/angles, so we got unique shots of him which was very refreshing

She knows she isn't popular or that good of a person, but she desperately wants and that desperation makes her do horrible shit that leads to self destructive tendencies. Im not validaring her actions, but her facade of being beautiful and vain makes so much more sense when you realize she's desperate.
