So I’ve been playing bass and guitar for right around 13 years and obviously playing bass this is one of my favorite riffs and I’ve known how to play it for years but the fill always had me lost and this has got to be the best and closest version I’ve watched thank you for help on that fill keep it up

detune your bass a bit...neck pickup and tone on full, 1/8th turn of the bridge pickup and smack em strings near the neck, bass at 7, mids at almost 10 and treble at 9...works like magic for me on my esp ltd b-15 with nickel plated regular gauge rotosound strings for getting that ol' geezer tone

If you're in a pinch (which most of us are right now), the little plastic tabs that hold loaves of sliced bread make surprisingly good picks. If you try credit cards you might wanna layer two or more so that the pick doesn't flop around

there is also an easier way to play it by playing the second chord second fret, the 3th chord open two times, 3th chord second fret twice, 3th chord fret 5,4,5,4,5,4, 3th chord open twice and then 3th chord second fret. It'll give you the exact same result but it is way much easier. You're welcome !
