You mentioned in the video that if you want to add any new text boxes into the custom word layout that you should do so in Business Central first so you can later find it and drag it onto the template in word - how do you go about doing this?
Hi Kasandra, this is a great question! If you wanted to add on new fields to any window in Business Central you would select the gear icon in the top right hand corner and choose personalize from the drop down menu. This will open up a Personalizing bar on your current window, where you can choose the +Field button. This will open up a Add Field to Page menu on the right hand side of the window where you will be able to drag any available field onto the window. Be sure that your cursor is in the appropriate section on the page so that you see the available fields for that section.
@@ProphetBusinessGrp thank you. I was able to find that. Is there then a way to add a field for company banking information - maybe even a field that can tell which banking information that a specific customer would need to be provided with (e.g. local vs international)
