Thanks for sharing your story! Watching from Southern California! Your opportunities say alot about your work ethic at such a young age. Super impressive! And you found your soul mate too! Blessings on blessings! I've also been a dancer my whole life. A self taught hip hop street dancer. Never technically trained, but I've danced my whole life. I started teaching in high school. I actually made my first gig. Haha....I used to be a recreational instructor for a summer camp and after school program and I would teach my group dance routines for fun. Two years after that they let me run a threate in the community program and then I started my own dance team as a contracted instructor and then I grew the program into a mobile dance studio between two cities using park facilities....and now at almost 30 I am in the process of opening my own location. I'm looking forward to it all! What would you say has been your biggest challenge with running a dance studio and how did you overcome it? Also, what activities do you offer outside of dance classes that students love? And how did you settle on a price point that was going to keep your business running and keep customers satisfied. Thank you again for sharing!
Hey! Can you tell me more about the mobile dance studio concept? I haven't heard of it before! What kind of resources did you use to run your business?
This literally happened to me back in 2019... I haven’t fully recovered. But this makes me want to take action and regain control of this dream of mine.
Hello Rhiannon! Thank you for sharing your story. I discovered this video because I am currently a 20-year old dancer and college student in Ohio and I have a dream of running my own dance studio. I would love to get to hear more about you as a young entrepreneur dancer!
Awesome story! Thanks for sharing. My goal is to own a studio as well soon, but need a little guidance on studio size. Do you mind me asking what’s the size (sq ft) of your dance rooms and what’s the largest student count you can fit in room for ballet (as ballet you need more room to move ) What’s the total square feet of your dance studio. Thank you!!
