I haven't tried making the bead yet, but just wanted to comment on Fire Mnt sending out damaged goods at a sale price. They should have stated "price reduced due to damage", not just pawning off on some unsuspecting bloke who thinks they're getting a great deal! Kudos to you, Jennifer, for "Making the Best of a Bad Situation" as Tom Rush would sing.

Thanks for the tut, I loved it! I can't wait to make mine, I also have a giant wooden bead I want to cover for a pendant, and your design is the perfect one; I also would like to add a tassel at the bottom of both the earrings and the pendant. Also, it does bother me that you can see the bead underneath, have you found a way so this doesn't happen? Or could I make that the bottom, and the other end the top?

Does "size 10" mean 10mm in diameter?

Abt size post. Also would It work with 10mm round faceted beads? I bought some someplace don't like the color and can't return them.

hi jennifer, i'm using a 10 mm pearl and it doesn't look at all like yours, looks like there's too many beads around, i would send you a picture if i could lol

Hi Rita, you can adjust the amount of beads you put on at the beginning just make sure it is an even number.
