Chose qui ne risque plus d'arriver . Et même si il s'avère qu'il a pu faire de la merde dans sa vie privée et vis à vis des autres membres du groupe, force est d'avouer que sa voix incarnait vraiment l'âme des Rumjacks, je pense notamment au morceau Uncle Tommy qui est une vraie tranche de sa vie et que personne ne pourra interpréter aussi bien que lui.
Il paraît que le nouveau chanteur assure. Je retourne quand même les voir le mois prochain, mais .... Ça risque de ne pas être pareil ...
Et My time again !! Faut vraiment être fils d'ouvrier pour chanter ça avec ses tripes...
100% agree, really don't like their new work and singer. Frankie was what made the Rumjacks for me.
Played in my town recently but didn't wanna go, saw them 6 years ago with Frankie and I wanna keep that memory of Rumjacks

I'm so depressed that I got into them just as they transitioned singers. How did I not hear of them before? Really wish I could have heard these songs live in person. Their new front man is really good, but Frankie's presence was a big draw for me. Hopefully I'll get to see them sometime regardless because it's all great none the less.
Agree, Rivkees is badass singer but it seems like a totally different band now. Not that it's a bad thing, they're new albums are bangers but Frankie just had a certain charm and performance style that made the band what it was. I imagine he probably wasn't the easiest to work with though
I am like you, I saw them here in Sydney just before they went overseas for 2 years to try and “make it”, it turned out to be Frankie’s last show in their hometown and they haven’t been back since - that was 5yrs ago now! Mike is great, the new albums are killer, but it is a different sound, a shift from Frankie’s our poetry, he had a way with words and that blend of Celtic/old time language blended with modern English just gave it a certain charm. I’m stoked they’re killing it in Europe and America, but wish they’re come home for a tour!
@@mkel1979 Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm American, so a big draw was that they weren't American and could get another perspective. Then the melodies were just so damn satisfying. I'm seeing them in October opening for Flogging Molly but I really want to see Frankie's new project hit the road. Have you heard his new tunes?
