Michael Lord has probably forgotten more about SOLIDWORKS than most folks will ever know. I don't know how he keeps TRAKKA all these usefil tips and tricks! 👍🤣👍
instant 3d is great thing... didn't know you can switch a cut to a boss with it - my question would be, how would i do that without instant-3D? because for whatever reason, some instant-3D interaction just crash Solidworks for me (like about 10 times today it crashed when i tried to drag a reference plane of a component in an assembly with instant-3D)
Since Michael works in the "down under," does a boss extrude also exist as a cut extrude in another "dimension?" Schrödinger's CAD? 😸
.... now that is going to be on my mind all day .... do I really exist .... or does the live me make an appearance at World .... & am I not alive when I'm here .... thoughts for the day 🙂

Hello, one question, how i find fast the location of an opened part in Solidworks ?
I mean i wanna find the path of file fast..
For example in assembly i can right click on certain part then "Component properties" and there i have "Model document path..
but i don''t have this option or menu in an opened part...
And if i click "File properties" there is also no file path there....
Someone help please !
File > Find References
