  • A collarbone fracture, also known as a clavicle fracture, typically involves a break in the bone located between the shoulder blade and the sternum. Symptoms often include pain, swelling, and difficulty moving the arm on the affected side. In severe cases, there may be a visible deformity or the feeling of a grinding sensation during movement. Treatment usually involves immobilization with a sling or brace, and in some cases, surgery may be necessary to realign the bones. Physical therapy is often recommended to regain strength and mobility in the shoulder and arm.
