Wouldn’t the moisture of the humidifier affect the lashes from sticking ? I’m worried they would not stick because of it if it’s close to the eyes. I’ve actually got one and considering using it during lash apps xx
That’s what i thought at first. Although i dont know the actual science behind it, it actually improved my retention so i just keep doing it
Higher the humidity-the faster they stick. A 3 second dry time glue will dry faster in high humidity. That’s why if you’re in a high humidity area, a fast drying glue might actually be drying before it you place it on their lash and that might be why the don’t stick.
When we use the mister at the end, that always consumed me because I though we weren’t suppose to get them wet. But it’s not for getting them wet, it’s for raising the humidity level around their eye so the cure time/dry time is faster.
What type of glue do you use?
I put a humidifier but it gunks up my glue so fast.
I’m trying to remember the lash supplier I saw a video that had primer without alcohol. I can’t remember if that’s you please let me know
Can you just use a nano mister if there is t enough humidity or no?
yes but its not ideal because you cant have it running the whole time
My lash room humidity is alway 50. And my lashes never stick right and the retention is bad. So shouldn’t I buy a dehumidifier then?
you have to know what temp/ humidity works for you adhesive, usually it will be on the retailer's website under product description. it could be that or many other factors that i mentioned in the video
