Have you ever thought of angling the camera towards the windows. The street never changes but the windows don we basically spend an hour looking into the distance at palms trees
Years before the movie Pretty Woman came out I was living in long Beach, CA. My stepmother came to visit and wanted to shop on Rodeo Drive. It was a rainy afternoon and we were both dressed in jeans and leather jackets. First stop was the Rodeo Cafe where I was treated to the most vile actress from a soap opera trying to read me for asking her to move her huge fur from my chair and the most pretentious menu ever. We didn't stay. We then ran across the street and up two doors to the exclusive Gucci shop where the door was locked by the cashier's who refused to let us in! I told my stepmother to hand me her cash and it was a HUGE wad! I fanned it out and showed it to the bitches holding the lock button. They unlocked the door, we stepped in, and Marlene, my beautiful stepmother whom I had never heard use a harsh word looked right at these two girls and said......"you're a cashier at a retail shop and you dare to judge anyone?...Fuck you, we'll shop elsewhere. Your things are ugly.". I about pissed my pants. Ahhhhhh Good times.
Good for her! Your stepmother sounds like a wonderful person, and you're right those cashiers had NO RIGHT judging you and your step mother as if your a worthless piece of trash. You did right to go elsewhere too.I would have done.I was there from the UK with my mum for a one off once in a lifetime holiday in 1996 and we visited Rodeo Drive,I remember mum saying that she thought it was nice but all the people came across as very unfriendly and were always looking down on you because you're a tourist and not as rich as them.We didn't stay we went to Santa Monica where we found an English pub and we had fish and chips,a dirt coke for me and a big pot of tea for mum.
@whatchoicesrthere5333 very true. They should come here to England where we are much friendlier and we talk on the streets, not saying that there aren't any friendly Americans around but this lot in Beverly Hills certainly aren't. Hope you are well. Best Wishes Hazel

i thought Americans were loud? no one's talking on the streets ?
It's Beverly Hills dear. One is to be seen and not heard. Most boring place in all of California.
