- Michael Waddell's first buck on "Downton Dixie," his personal Pecan Farm in Georgia. There's just something special about Bow hunting in late October in a hardwood draw. This hunt aired on Season 9 of Bone Collector on the Outdoor Channel.

Sweet. The only way I can go hunting is by watching you. Used to go hunting every year. Handicapped now can't pull back a bow. Can't handle the cold during rifle season. My heart was pounding watching it. I miss it though. Congrats.
Brian.have you ever considered a crossbow? I dont know what youre handicap is but they have crossbows now that have cranking devices on tbem to cock them.
There's a way if there's a will brother get out of that mindset stay strong
Crossbow is still super exciting.. also, make or buy a box stand and get you a propane heater for rifle season!
I'll hunt until I can no longer pull a trigger or see thru a scope

I first saw micheal Waddell on monster bucks 10 in the late 90s early 2000s …I remember he was on a Wyoming hunt and took a nice wide velvet buck. That was the first time I had ever seen deer hunting on video was watching monster bucks 10 and it most definitely turned my passion into an obsession.

It's about that time again. Sept. 12th is season opener here in Georgia this year the 2020-2021 whitetail deer season starts soon brother!! Time to send arrows fletch deep and put'em down.

This hunt was from a couple seasons back. But yes, still shoot some gold tips, the BC arrow by victory, and have some Easton shafts that I really like.

Awesome but may I make a recommendation? How about a throwback Thursday from the Bone Collector crew? You guys have some great hunts I'd love to watch again! You guys and your hunts got me through my military service back in the day. That's how important you guys are. I'd pop in a DVD and head straight to the woods with you guys and lose everything else.

Deer did his part going that distance, was probably hurting bad since it expired in the water. Back of the right lung and liver probably with that quartering to shot. All in all nice deer.

Mr. Waddell I gotta question for ya sir. I’ve heard you mention Ryan does the social media for bone Collector so I’m not sure if you will receive this. But I’ve really enjoyed your show. Especially the team you put together and the way you all promote the fun and joys of hunting. But I’ve always wondered why all the bone Collector seasons aren’t available on UA-cam? Im assuming it has something to do with the outdoor channel maybe owning a portion idk. But I’ve always said that you and Chris Ashley were my two favorite hunting personalities. Been that way forever. I enjoy watching most hunting television. I’ve always believed that 2000s primos team was one of the best ever. That team of Brad Ferris, Kevin Meechum, Keith Burgess, even Cody Kelly and especially Chris Ashley were some of the very best hunter/videographers that ever produced. I’ve always admired your ability to knock down some of the greatest trophies and trophy footage as anyone in the industry as well. I’ve binged on all the old bone Collector, primos episodes for the past four weeks on UA-cam each moment I’ve had time. I’ve been tryin to gain tactics on how to produce great footage before South Georgia deer season opens. I just wish there was more of these old bone Collector clips and episodes available. Even tho I’ve seen them all over the years. I’m watching them again now like I’m in a classroom studying how you all capture the hunts with such quality and success. I’ve found videoing brings a whole other set of hurdles and challenges but after only one season I’m more addicted to gaining footage than I am filling a deer or turkey tag. Keep posting to UA-cam for me brother!! I need the educational references. LOL! Congrats on that fine buck. I remember when that first aired on outdoor channel and how happy you were to have your baby boy home and doing well!! You a good Family man and represent the hunting industry better than most!!

When you kill a deer on your on land and you grew it it doesn't matter how big or small it's still a great feeling. It's not as easy as you think
@Pulltogether , you are absolutely right. It is also more rewarding to take one off your own land. There is nothing else like it. Not to me, anyway.
