OH WOWSERS WOWSERS WOWSERS :-D YAY I am over the absolute Moon to win the 'Name my Hybrids' :-D YIPPEEEEEEE
Thank you so much, Lyn 😊 That made Edith and me so happy when it landed on your name, a perfect cultivar name for that Haworthia 😊 This grow light has been fantastic but next test will be with some seedlings. Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Lyn. Have a wonderful day and upcoming weekend from Edith & myself to you and Hans ❤️🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Thank you so much for the beautiful name, Lyn! We love it! ❤️🥰
@@Cactimania So happy you and Edith loved the name 'Ediths Star' :-D XXXXXX
@@edithcoliagrandis We are so happy you and Daz loved the name 'Ediths Star', :-D its a beautiful Haworthia hybrid, and its so exciting that this beauty has been named by me YAY :-D I am so happy
@@desertplantsofavalon 🤗😘💚
I like your Haworthia with white power like structures on top. I like the name Lyn gave your Haworthia. Edith’s name will now go down the history of Haworthias. 😊 My Haworthia are all outside as I have no room for them indoors. They are absolutely hating the dry heat and are looking dead - but they are not. 🫣 Hopefully they bounce back in fall and winter.
Thank you so much, Ana 😊 Yeah the Haworthia aren’t fans of the high temperatures, they do look a lot better during the cooler months. Hopefully your ones will be ok. Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Ana. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜☕️
Really liked this video and awesome new hybrid names!!! Can't get better than these names!!! Emerald cats tongue!!! So cool, really does look like the name!!! And Lyn definitely didn't go wrong with Edith's star!! Yeah, great names!!! ,great plants!!! Your very own!!! And when you think about it, very rare hybrids!! There's only so many until you propagate!!! Love the colors in a whole bunch of the plants under the light!! It's really worked well!! Yes, the little haworthia I sent you is a real grower!! For being such a small variety. It has really done well in your care, as I knew it would! Some of the Euphorbias you and Edith sent have Exploded!! The neorubella has never stopped blooming!! And continues to grow well. The debilispina wasn't doing anything, and I was a bit worried. Just sitting. No change...and then boom!!! Little branches popped out and some rhizomes started to come up also!!! Very happy now the gabizan while growing, is still being a bit slow. But this may be it's nature. All have put on growth!!! The pterocactus was very slow at first but it too Exploded!! And now has several active shoots growing quickly!! Longer everyday!!! And the gymnocalycium both growing very well!!! Oh forgot to mention, the watermelon haworthia is fantastic!! That is a beauty!!! Thanks for sharing Daz!!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, to the UK and Singapore, have a wonderful day!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!! ✌💖🌵🌺🌿🌻🪴🌹🏵🌳🌷🌴😃👍
Thank you so much, Clyde 😊 Yeah the names definitely suit them well. It’s very cool creating one of a kind plants, something that’s never existed before. Glad all the ones from Edith & myself are doing well for you 😃 Yeah I noticed with some types of Euphorbia they take a little while to root, but when they do they just explode with growth! The Haworthia Watermelon is a beauty, it’s quite a fast growing Haworthia as well but I’ve noticed this over the past few years that hybrid plants generally tend to be faster growers than species plants, even with cacti. Thank you for watching and commenting as always my friend, have a wonderful day from Edith & myself to you and Deb 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
@@Cactimania Yes! I think this is true. I believe it's called hybrid vigor. Hybrids do grow faster than species .
Wow, all those Haworthia look like a patchwork of Art from above, so close together beautiful colourations, those Mars Hydro lights certainly are working well for you after a long time now, they must be very proud to have you showcasing such excellent results with these lights on your channel! Loved the name choices at the end, and what magic to have it land on Edith's Star, so lovely for Edith.
👍🏻😁🌵👌🌟
Thank you so much, Claire 😊 A lot need repotting though, but done too much of that lately and need a break from it 😂 Yeah both are very nice names and suit the plants well. Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Claire. Have a wonderful afternoon and evening and weekend from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Great video and dreamy Haworthias collection!
Thank you so much, and thank you for once again for an awesome grow light 😃🌵☀️🌼🏜
Wow! Those Haworthias are looking amaaaazing!!! It has been a while since I last saw them and the difference was apparent. The plants grow very well when they receive consistent light at the right intensity and proper nutrition. It’s the fluctuations of the environmental elements that really contribute to issues. Well done, Sweetheart! Thank you for sharing this update. 👏🏼❤️🤗🥰😘❤️
Thank you so much my love 🥰 Yeah it’s probably better for you to judge their growth as I see them every day and don’t always notice just how much they’ve grown lol. The arachnoidea I know have grown loads, though! They will definitely be having a repot soon. Enjoyed watching with you as always babe, thank you for all your love, support and encouragement ❤️🌵🤗😘🌸❤️

Maintaining a high standard of information on some very interesting plant's ,
That clearly enjoy basking under a high standard of lighting that you
Are providing them with.
Thanks again Daz for a great vid, Bill.
Thank you so much 😊 Yeah they’ve enjoyed being under this grow light, but next time it’ll be seeing how seedlings do under it. Thank you for watching and commenting as always, have a wonderful evening from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Love your amazing collection of Haworthias! Well done to the winners...lovely names!!! Thanks for sharing! Good afternoon to you Daz and Edith!
Thank you so much as always, Sylvia 😊 Thank you for watching and commenting, have a wonderful evening from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Hi Daz very healthy plants & a couple of cool names, keep it up mate
Thank you so much, Phil 😊 Thanks for watching and commenting, have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜
Wow, Daz! I love both of the cultivars and the names (thank you for showing my suggestions too😻), Emerald Cat´s tongue is growing amazingly and Edith´s Star is growing so delicate🤩. I enjoyed watching at your haworthias again, I always end up looking for some of your species on the internet, hehehe. Really precious!👏👏👏. Mine are now in a dormancy due to our heat waves and high temperatures, very dehidrated and stressed. And this year I even had to take some inside the house. Maybe its time to buy a growligh... Have a great day in the UK and Singapore😘!
Thank you so much, Vanesa 😊 Yeah I need to be careful with a few of mine when it comes to watering because of our recent high temperatures, I had a few nearly rot last year because I watered them while they were dormant. I loved your suggestions and have some other seedlings those names would suit nicely 😉 Thank you for watching and commenting, Vanesa. Have a wonderful evening from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜
@@Cactimania 😄 Oh, so happy to hear that, it´s a great honour to give you suggestions, you made my day with this comment! On my way to work tonight, have a great evening friends💕.
Lovely plants mate...the powder snow has came on a lot in a year
Cheers mate 😊 Yeah the Powder Snow is awesome, and looking forward to seeing what the seedlings will look like being crossed with Mordor. Cheers for watching and commenting mate 👍🏻🌵☀️🌼🏜
Both excellent names for your beautiful plants 👍🏼 I’d love to visit your greenhouse someday 😁
Thank you so much 😊 Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜
👏👏👏gente que linda coleção ! Vcs ja estão conseguindo fazer as sementes ?
Thank you 😊 Have some Haworthia seeds but was mostly concentrating on pollinating the cactus over the summer. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Wowwww beautiful collection 🤩😍 so nice to see them all so many 🤩 they’re all beautiful, beautiful patterns. Your nigra is much bigger than my nigra now, and it was smaller when I gave it to you. My tonigra have 6 or 7 flower stalk at the moment I think. It happens to my haworthias too, the stalks died just before it flower.
Awesome names, love the Edith’s star. Enjoyed much this video. Lovely to see them all. 😍🤩💚🌵
Thank you so much, Kath 😊 The Tonigra hasn’t flowered for me yet, it’s too busy creating offsets lol. The nigra doesn’t seem like it’s grown much but I think if I looked back at the unboxing video it probably has haha. Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Kath. Have a wonderful day and weekend from Edith & myself to you and Phil 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Love your videos especially the Haworthia ones 😁. The Mordor you have looks more like a “Blue Diamond” tho. These two are the doppelgänger.
Thank you 😊 Yes Mordor and Blue Diamond are very similar and can be difficult to tell apart, although they are both from the same parentage. The person who created those hybrids chose two different cultivar names as there was slight variations between the offspring. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜
Amazing 👏
Thank you 😊 Thanks for watching and commenting as always 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
Great video daz! They look so healthy and perfect :) I'm so glad they have been growing well for you! I love the ones that are really puffy with big windows but that tiny little one is so pretty. You have quite the collection there haha. Are you going to the bcss national show this year? Wishing you and Edith a great week and lots of healthy plants 🌵☀️🌸
Thank you so much, Henry 😊 Probably won’t be going this year, but is something I’d like to do in the future with Edith. Thank you for watching and commenting, have a lovely evening from us both 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜
Hi Daz I love your videos.
Do you reduce the amount of light they get from the grow light in winter to promote dormancy? Or do you keep it the same schedule all year round?
Thank you, Nathan 😊 A lot of my Haworthia remain active during the winter, they prefer the cooler temperatures. It’s mainly during the hottest part of the summer they’ll slow up in growth and go into a bit of a dormant state. At the moment the grow lights aren’t on for as long as they used to be because of the cost of electricity going up. It’s only on cloudy days I’ll have them on and then only for about 6 hours. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌺🌼🏜
I may have to stop looking at your videos, for years i have grown trees and wierd plants(from cutting or trashed plants never realy payed for my plants) but found some cactus in the trash and found your channel and to day i cancel my vication to stay home and buy a small cactus collection from a man that have grown them from seed.
Now i see haworthias oh no i dont have any i think i may need some to sleep better,,,,,,, what is next are you going to push lithops?
Haha awesome. Lithops don’t do well for me here for some reason, although I’m growing some from seed and they’re still alive, for now anyway. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌺🌼🏜
