i got a new mobile phone and searched for another mobile browser, thank you for this vid
Bromite for accounts and Firefox Focus for casual searches. When it comes to browsers or privacy in general, as your video covers, the browser(s) you use depends on your threat model. Unfortunately, Brave users also have to turn off sending data to their servers too so Firefox is not unique in this regard.
Where can i find Bromite? Dont has in play store?
@@Enlevar The browser has its own website. I can't provide a link since UA-cam is removing my comments if I include it in my response.
Why you choose Bromite and not Firefox or Brave for example? Only because you have to turn off the sending data to their servers?
@@Narutoshi Bromite has a high degree of hardening for a Chromium.
@@trollerjakthetrollinggod-e7761 Thank you for reply :)
Using Brave on Android, mostly for 1 or 2 accounts and casual surfing.
On PC i use Firefox.
I'm going to fork and make a Netscape RELOADED
Good luck!
Netscape Navigator was a nice browser.
I loved Netscape
Is the source code actually available? 😳
@@jonathanb3899 Knowing that netscape is really old, people have probably cracked the source code
Been using, and will probably be sticking to DDG as my main browser. I'm talking all devices. I have the app on the phone and the extension for the browser.
Please make a complete setup guide. Most people already use Chrome or Firefox for everything and they have social media with their real names, numbers and photos. Switching to Tor or using a VPN will accomplish nothing, especially because smart phones and laptops / PCs have already become associated!
I've done everything from start at some stage I also used to use my real name everywhere allow my location post my photos everywhere but I'm healed now I can teach you or we can chit chat or discuss together as a privacy advocat. Lol btw. This comment was just for fun it's your choice tho
@CyberKira-lk3oi yoo very random and ur comment was in reply to another comment but id be interested talking ab it and learning from you if you'd be down?
Dude, your channel is awesome! Learning so much.
What about Vanadium vs. Iron browser. Trying to decide on a secondary browser besides Brave on mobile. I'd like to know more about how the 3 compare.
Can I use Vivaldi as personal browser for accounts while brave for privacy browsing?
Very well explained! ^^
7:00 the frustration is real 😂😂
Would like an updated Video for 2024!
Nice video👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻which browser is better for MacBook? Thank you in advance 🙏🏻👍🏻
I actually agree w/ u,everyone will use they went and needs and of course comfort at some point, and I compare that in service time(in my country) we all do our service time but 80% will be in the green Military but the 20% will be in other places like the police and wardens and such, yet as I said,we all servicing in different places but still serve our time, and it is goes to the browsers as well🤔🤔🤔
so which one for financial information I havent seen that anywhere
I use:
-chrome because of convenience
-firefox nightly for extension support and more up to date than fennec
-kiwi browser for chrome extensions
I am currently using firefox more than chrome but sometimes chrome just works.
Funny you should mention this because one time I had to log in to an account and the best browser to use was Chrome despite using Brave at the time. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do! Chrome has great security, but I hate that Google uses it to mine your data. If you want to be a little bold, I believe you can put extentions on Chrome using the Kiwi browser.
I’m a technically impaired old fella what would be best for financial security and things of this sort
Brave or DDG? I need a new android app for casual surfing
why did I literally see a DDG ad on public TV? what are they getting out of people using their browser? 🤔
I Was Just looking for this Love You
I like the EFF cap
Hey Techlore, would you mind making a tutorial video for hardening Firefox for maximum privacy and security?
He already did
He did it again!
So..do you just disable Chrome on android?
Can these be tracked by smart family?
How to install vanadium in my android phone?
Still looking for a browser with some good looks(like vivaldi)+web page dark mode+good speed
Bromite
My set up:
Brave - for everything.
Tor - when some websites are blocked in my country this browser is the best option instead of Android's VPNs IMHO.
Does tor work as a vpn too?
Now I'm confused, is a hardened firefox better or worse than brave and DDG?
He's addressed this in a review he did of Brave (i.e. The Browser of the Future?). In short, no. On Android Brave might be slightly more secure than Firefox but a hardened Firefox is far superior to Brave on desktop. In this video Henry is discussing on mobile devices. As to DDG, that is kind of like a burner browser but I do not think it is more secure than Brave. Of course, what you use on mobile is up to you.
Thank you!
What's ur opinion about the new Firefox Focus?
You should do a video on the mobile version of tor
Can you review Opera Touch?
Isn't kiwi a good browser? Was on Brave but it was becoming progressively slower with just a few tabs and would freeze up randomly, but kiwi doesnt have any problem even with 40 tabs open..
FWIW, Kiwi doesn't seem too bad. I like the fact that it is open source. However, the fact that it can use Chrome extensions could be a plus but I have come to understand that doing that on a mobile browser could increase your fingerprint. If you do this, I suggest testing it against EFF's Cover Your Tracks. This is largely why I won't use Firefox's main browser on my phone and use Bromite instead. Happy surfing!
I am trying librewolf on my slow Computer and it Looks slow.
Having my mind blown after using the internet like a berserker all my life
What would be a good browser thats strongly against censorship and has good anonymity?
Any of the ones listed in the above video are adequate. They're designed to reduce your digital footprint but not necessarily keep you anonymous. Using more than one for different purposes would be a good idea. Henry outlines how you can be anonymous in other videos.
Good job!
*you can try Sphere browser for privacy and anonymous*
what about mull on f-droid
Google and Facebook has trackers installed
1 Tor ✅
2 Bromite ✅
3 chrome ❌🔫
Kiwi with extensions or bromite as main while Firefox lite as secondary
Where can i find Bromite?
@@Enlevar at f-droid.
How about Vivaldi?
I really wished the video a little bit more detailed.
Don't personally use android, but I like Techlore, so I watch.
I kind of agree Henry should cover iOS related stuff more often. Unless there is an influencer like him that covers privacy and security for Apple users?

Brave Browser for now 😂 Great information every browser has different opinions great Review.👍😎
If you want onion routing use orbot
But the problem is Brave is laggy as hell. As an example if you go to duckduckgo.com and type something in the search bar, it lags/ you have 4 frames if you search down and up Giving me a headache and pain in the eyes
Why do browsers suck so much

I need one that IS not based on Chromium and that IS open source
Question for all: Is Firefox less efficient on loading speeds and battery?
I may add Focus as my secondary browser but it would be silly if it performs the same as my normal Firefox.
[Update: Tried out Focus and it seems to use a little less battery]
With the latest update revamping the browser I doubt it. However, as Henry points out in one of the threads below, FF's browser app has trackers and analytics tied to it. Adding Focus is a good idea but on your mobile devices, it might be better to use another browser for accounts like Brave or Bromite.
@@greenjihad3390 Well technically the brave browser should have equal security since it's based on the chromium core.
Bro thanks for this valueable video is chrome share accounts data on each profile?
I use firefox, chrome is there to install pwas
I use both Edge and Brave. Cause why not go for crypto currency and Microsoft points XD
I want go incognito 5.2
It sounds like he is indirectly endorsing the Puffin browser!
The problem with the Brave browser is that it's high usage data on Android.
@90 days. I think Firefox had this same problem before its recent makeover. Its what makes up the browser and not the rendering engine.
Mozilla already wrote a clog talking about how censoring is not enough and that worse should be done to those who spread hate or misinformation.
I just want a browser I can use that's not chrome that can group tabs together like it or Brave.
what browser do you use now?
I use bromite.
And that's it.
All non accounts browser in incognito.
My cellphone, don't have much memory so I just use one browser.
Even if one's cellphone has memory, it is wise to keep less apps.
Bromite supposedly uses up a lot of memory. You might want to try Brave or Firefox.
Now I feel like TechLore is stealing my data
Well, yeah? Of course
can we talk about Lynx browser ? and make it possible watch video or viewing some images
i use CENT browser. i know not open source but i really like the features.... am i the only one to use this borwser on pc?
I would like to be like Sam with 1. DDG and 2. Brave for some logins but brave doesn't support 120hz screens so few percent of the time when I need the login through web client I use chrome for that (would like to change this). If there's a way to enable high refresh rate on bromite or brave I would like that very much.
Have you suggested this on their GitHub pages?
@@greenjihad3390 Good idea. Shall do!
@@greenjihad3390 Seems like someone has done it a month ago. And is currently flagged as feature/settings 👍 lets hope it will come soon
@@TechnologyGeek862 Agreed! Thanks for letting me know.
Can I have a jelly bean?
Bromite and brave best
No sir the only browser worth using is Microsoft edge because of toggling laptop view ! Google purposely make Chrome bad on Android because Android has dedicated software from companies like facebook or Discover Bank that ad 3d hardware acceleration not possible on a browser like HDR .
Which browser is good where I don’t need to turn on VPN on my device whenever i search something..?
And where i will not get ADS also ..?
Tor
Why do you think that firefox is a less secure browser than chromium. I have done some research and found no evedence of the on top of it being a smaller target. I would really like to know as I have used it for 7 years and it has never been a problem. And you also need to consider that unlike brave or bromite the need to maintain a proper browser engine they don't piggy back of the work of the chromium devs (with minor exception like the privacy sandbox) so that requires a lot of money
thank you for sharing..😘
It was really good
I'm a dinosaur, trying to figure this stuff out, but now I feel like the penguin in the icon 🙄 ok so far, visit one wrong site you been trying to avoid using the wrong browser once, and you just blew any privacy you were looking forward to having all too hell? Ya?
Its crazy, because of all the Gmail accounts
Librewolf tho

Firefox for personal accounts and edge for everything else

Bro make the same for windows.
windows not privacy OS. for what you need privacy browser on not privacy OS?
@@elricgit1102 For work.
Firefox with no-script

Why you not count Vivaldi on your list?
I think it is because Vivaldi is not fully open source. The company behind it only reveals half of its source code. Vivaldi is very cool but may not be as secure as Brave or Firefox on mobile or even desktop.
@@greenjihad3390 thanks...
Vivaldi mobile browser is excellent.

Anyone who can recommend for each function:
- personal accounts
- office accounts and files handling
- casual, random surfing
- social media
- UA-cam (I am subscribed to premium so should I separate it or access with other functions)
Personal Accounts: Firefox Variants (I use Fennec)
Office Accounts/File Handling: Firefox Variants
Social Media: Firefox Variants or Chromium like Brave or Bromite
Casual Surfing:DDG
UA-cam: Newpipe (No account but a lot of features) Brave/Vanced (Accounts)
I heard premium was good for supporting creators but I’m not sure about privacy surrounding it.
@@whenyou5155 I appreciate your reply! Do you think I should install some of the recommended hardening addons to Firefox Android?
I really wanted to use DDG for random searches but the black bars on the gesture bar when keyboard is on annoys me due to the round edges of my phone. Same for the Firefox Focus. That is why I just use the Firefox for it and just enable delete data on quit.
try soul browser
Brave has settings to send your privacy history to them for research. I mean I don't care they know I visit pornhub once and a while but still odd.

What about brave as an android browser but the search engine is DDG?
