It's cause most creators have every card to make good decks with but the comments end up being filled with people saying they are missing most the cards in the decks they make so they can't really make good content anymore these big creators also have to spend money on the game to keep this but when normal players can't keep up what's the point

It's the 2 gd years of we're working on it and we hear you bullshit that has been slowly building up resentment. Then the release of DPD 2.0 which only made it worse after there was a ton of hate when it first released. Enough is enough, it's just pure greed on their part and clearly shows they don't give AF about any of us.
My reason for leaving Snap is pettier and less logical than the inclusion of Loki and Arishem, I just liked Destroy and for almost a year have grinded splits for that decks's cards, and at one point I just thought how miserable I felt playing the game with destroy, and just left. I kept watching content creators play eben tough I haven't opened the app in months now, but seeing the games amd videos about it's current state has made me a little sad about how much it's struggling overall in it's meta and card acquisition system, to the point where it's almost not fun seeing said videos anymore. Don't get me wrong, the decks are still creative and the players have personality, but seeing people get angry again and again for the same universal reasons is getting old and exhausting as a viewer, so jump out of the loop of the game seems pretty justified even if a little tragic
same left a year ago. been completing all inked destroy then the game didnt seem fun anymore cuz i spent too much just trying to make them all inked and it seem so boring like the only thing to excite me was the gambling aspect of opening caches and that was ruined too.

Very wild that, for a live service game, I cannot recommend it to friends because of how hard it is to build a collection. Most people simply don’t have the time required to dedicate to it. Sucks that there’s no resolution in sight. Despite all the games issues though I am glad I found you and your channel(s) thru it! I’ll always watch n support both Snap and Pocket content ❤️
I love the game but lately it seems like more of a chore to keep up with. Deadpool’s Diner is a horrible grind, I much preferred High Voltage. Today it took me four keys to get Gorr and that felt bad too. Not a great week moving into the Rivals season.
There's a post on reddit about how Ben said that card acquisition does not work unless they drop cards at equal pace, eg. #of s5->4 = #of s4 ->3, that is no where to be seen and yeah the current state is unsustainable. I am low key checked out ATM and only get 1-2 cards per month for 1-2 architypes, I also stopped spending due to the insane price on the bundles. This will die for me eventually if nothing changes onwards, and I think you speak true to lots players who keeps up and chips out money for the game.
I couldn’t agree more with your points on card acquisition. I’m a relatively new player, and started playing back in July and it is ridiculous how card acquisition is. I usually try and save all the credits for the week and open them up every Tuesdays, so anywhere from 7,000 - 9,000 credits each time and the most card I ever got was 3 at one time. But this latest event, Deadpool Dinner, has completely made me fall out of love with this game. I’m at the point where I don’t care about reaching infinite or conquest. I’ll play and when I run out of bubs I just turn the game off, I’m not wasting my gold for that bs event
Thanks for sharing. I left Snap two days ago after finally being fed up. I spent quite a bit on it, only to have to deal with the very difficult and greedy card acquisition system this game has. It's like a gambling game now, which is crazy. Almost 2 years of patience and hoping for when it improves (second dinner always gives false promises), i think they are only there for the money, unfortunately.
It's a business, not a charity, so of course they are in it for the money, LMAO! Are you so young as to be naive to how the world works? You didn't say what other game you left Snap for, but all successful for-profit collectible card games are "gambling games" with "very difficult and greedy" card acquisition systems. I don't know if you've tried Pokémon Pocket, but that game has a WAY worse card acquisition system despite what many people will try to tell you. If you want to play any of these freemium games and not eventually get fed up, you have to accept that you will never get everything that you want unless you're a whale and that you will never keep up with the whales. Because at the end of the day, all sustainable freemium games exist primarily to milk the whales, not to cater to F2P.
@@ydgmdluI don't enjoy the gameplay in pokémon Pocket but I haven't spent a dime on that game and I already have the top three meta decks I have had no issue collecting cards in that game because you literally get 10 cards a day for free on top of the four hourglasses you get every day for your daily quests so you get an extra pack every 3 days and then also you have Wonder pics so you get a free card or two every day from that and because you only need the base EX level of a card it's really not that hard to get the cards you need and most of the meta decks half the cards are exactly the same with the trainer cards and support cards so it's really easy to make a lot of the decks
@@The_MEMEphisum yeah, that good feeling that you have will go away eventually, and sooner rather than later. You're only feeling that way now because the card pool is small and you were showered with packs as part of the new player experience. The same thing happened in the earliest days of Snap, when everyone was trying get through Series 1 and Series 2 and the three meta decks were Zoo, Devil Dinosaur, and Odin. Everyone could easily build those "meta" decks, and everyone was getting like half a dozen new cards every day. You won't get anywhere near as many free packs as the new player experience when the Pocket mini set releases in December or when the next full set releases in January. Imagine six months from now, after a second mini set and a third full set have been released. I'm sure that the meta decks at that time will require two copies each of specific cards from almost all of the sets. No free player will have every mechanically unique card by that time (by which I mean the diamond-rarity cards), so you'll see the exact same complaints as you see in the Snap community. Free players will not be able to keep up with whales and will struggle to build the meta decks six months from now. I've opened over 300 packs, collected almost 1800 cards. This is approximately the maximum amount that free players can get within a three-month period. I still don't have every mechanically unique card card in Genetic Apex, let alone two copies of each. I'm completely missing Moltres EX and Venusaur EX and only have single copies of five other EX Pokémon, so I am locked out of playing quite a few strong decks, even though I have the two best decks (Pikachu and Mewtwo) fully built and like half a dozen other kinda meta decks fully built as well. Over the weekend a lot of people started saying that Charizard + Arcanine might be the new best deck, but I can't play it at all because I don't have Moltres EX. Then "ten free cards per day" is a useless point because they are not all new cards. You will get to the point in which those ten cards will all be duplicates day after day after day, so they might as well not even exist.
The thing that got me angry the most was the future plans for thr game and seeing that Draft mode was still in concept after a year when people wanted it more than anything. Instead they gave us Deadpool Diner...
Feed Gorr More! 😋 I'm a casual SNAP player. I watch videos and keep up with stuff and buy the season pass but I also am not overly competitive so the RNG doesn't get to me. There's still a lot to be enjoyed about this game I think as long as you can accept that it is not a 100% skill based game. But burn out is a thing. At least people are burning out NOW and not 6 months from now after they've already dropped thousands of more dollars on the game. Thanks for uploading. This card is bonkers
Thanks for your videos has always. I tried to get into Pokémon game i couldn't. But Snap has said more events were coming and new game plays too. Like things to do in the game. There is so much they could do. Like put up a daily road map, type plays. Or having a war between the alliances. Where the alliance battle it out for the top spot. Etc. So much they can do with this game.
i've been playing completely F2P from launch, but very casually (mainly just checking off daily missions) i really enjoy the deck building process! so because i only really get joy out of creating my own ideas for decks/takes on certain archetypes i'm not really frustrated that i don't have all the cards, because i'm not chasing the meta i guess? and yeah because i'm not in infinite, i'm going up against other lower ranked players as well as bots so non meta decks are competitive! so yeah coz i've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of a game i've never spent a cent on, i don't really have that same bitterness a lot of other players have towards the game, but i can completely understand that if you're spending money on this game your expectations of it would be higher!
I'm a casual but buy the season pass every month, hit infinite in 2-3 days, and do the alliance stuff. I still enjoy the game and while I totally understand people's frustration and agree with their critiques, it's just not the level at which I engage with the game. I'm feeling alright about my own card acquisition and ability to compete for my goals.
I hate that in the current system I have to elect to skip entire archetypes of cards just so I have keys for more meta cards, I haven't been able to play a good discard deck in a year+
Nina, you are hands down my favorite Snap content creator. I knew of you from your Hearthstone days but Snap really drew me to your videos and your streams. And because I'm a fan your comments in the video are no surprise but does suck to hear. As a casual Snap player, I only spend money on the season passes and if I really grind I could typically have enough keys to get 1 or 2 cards a month, depending on the RNG. I've been super lucky that normally when I use keys it only takes me 1 or 2 keys to get the new card. Even with that kind of luck it is hard to get cards so I can't argue with your frustrations. For those of us who are missing a ton of cards, cards like Arishem are the only way I get to play some of the newer cards so I can't complain about him. I know you are typically a 1 game type of creator but I would love to see you branch out to play more games because, and this is no offense to anyone who likes and plays Pocket but I just hate that game. I never was a Pokemon fan so that has a lot to do with it. I do miss your Snap content and streams but totally understand your feelings and am glad you have a game like Pocket that you seem to genuinely enjoy!
It usually takes me 3-4 keys to get a new card (4 for Gorr today) so I never have any keys and have to use collectors tokens to buy new cards 😭 I’m sorry you didn’t like Pocket. I’ll keep making snap content and hope for the best! Maybe they’ll revolutionise the way card acquisition works, we never know.
I left Snap (at least for now) simply because it feels like I am obligated to grind every week for something that might interest me for a very short time or not at all. As a f2p (not counting buying variants), I just see myself stuck in a loop where, by the end of the week, I don't even use the new card because it doesn't mesh well with the cards that I have and is probably dependent on the newer cards that I basically have to gamble for. The gameplay loop feels like a chore rather than something fun to do in the free time
As a player who is only spending money on battle pass, it is always a disappointment to open a cache...if I am lucky I get 1 new card per season besides my season pass card. In the last couple of months I am just doing the daily quests and that's it. In last battle pass I even missed like the extra skin for the BP card...this is the start of the downfall...same thing happened with Warzone for me...I think within a few seasons I will completely stop buying battle pass then stop playing the game. Grinding money off on game mechanics is just not right...kills the fun. I am always pumped for the new season video...I guess just hoping for better.
Feeling the same way. I don’t like losing a match to locations. Don’t like the fact we have to download another program to track deck when it should be already in game. Maybe another three more months of play and than I most likely will stop if nothing changes.
Interesting to hear your thoughts on the game, Nina. Sad to hear that you’re not enjoying the game as much anymore, as I’ve always enjoyed watching your videos and streams, but I get it. I’ve been playing consistently for 2 years now. I’m still playing every day, but a lot a lot less than I was - just to earn my achievements and alliance tasks. I’ve stopped buying the season pass the last few months and can’t see myself dropping the game completely in the future. But that’s fine. I got 2 years out of it and it’s the first mobile game that I can say that about.
I've been mostly F2P since launch (bought 1 season pass) and been regularly getting to infinite (i play too much)... I actually like Arishem without Loki because of the randomness and also it's impossible for me to get all the cards and it's the only way to get to play new cards. I wish there was a more casual mode. The most frustrating thing is definitely card and even variant acquisition. I hate opening caches and spotlight caches are super frustrating. I'm missing like 28 cards and it seems i always need 4 keys to get a new one. Using tokens is scary because you never know when they're going to nerf a card. The game mechanics themselves are amazing. The animation bugs and game crashes (on iphone) are super frustrating. Also the fast forward needs to be fixed.
I had to tell myself that rank doesnt matter in this game because the location pulls sometimes just irritate the heck outta me. If i get negative power on 1 zone, and then something like switching hands turn 6, Insta retreat
I agree with everything you said in your video, I really enjoy the artwork on the cards and love seeing all the variants but I rarely have fun playing the game anymore. Deadpool’s diner just sucks to lose all your bubs in one match and have to wait, really makes me sad seeing the state of snap now.
I like the gameplay of snap more than pocket but i hate the fact i cant make most of the best decks in the game. I live in Africa (Ghana) and buying a season pass means I'm not i have to be on a budget more than i am on now. Which makes me enjoy pocket as a game even as a free to play player i have almost all the cards in the game only left with 4 cards but i have been playing marvel snap for 2 years snice gobal lunch and i am no way near collection complete
Gorr will probably be nerfed in the next OTA depending on the table of probabilities equal or more to 15 power. The gameplay in SNAP is still good and Arishem is in fact a good thing for the game. The economy and bad monetization system is what kills this game atm...
Fellow whale here. Invested since Beta, but my enjoyment of the game has been dwindling as well. I had taken a mental break for a month around September and was surprised how far behind I was in the game when I came back. It has been really discouraging. Now its a chore to login with the fear of falling further behind, but maybe this is a sign that I just need to invest into something else worth my time? I think I need to stop torturing myself and give Snap the boot. Pocket is great and I love it so far. It just feels less demanding. Also your content is awesome. I will be following you into the world of Pokemon for sure.
I just returned to the game recently after leaving right around when spotlight caches came. High voltage is the most fun i have ever had with the game. If that mode was permanent, I'd probably be able to let card aquisition slide a little bit more. But after experiencing deadpools diner and these awful series drops (that are crazy infrequent) coupled with the constant "we hear you were working on it" have me close to quitting again.
I’ve been a whale in Marvel Snap for a long time, but as of this month, I’m quickly transitioning to being a guppy. Card acquisition is absolutely terrible, and it feels like Second Dinner acknowledges the issues but does nothing to fix them. The RNG aspect you mentioned is spot on-it’s becoming far too luck-based, which is frustrating. What got Marvel Snap from point A to point B clearly isn’t going to take them to point C, and that’s a huge problem. Nina, you shouldn’t feel bad about stepping away. Everything you pointed out is absolutely valid. Snap is in a tough spot right now, and it hurts to see it like this. I don’t play many mobile games, and it was my love for Marvel that brought me to Snap in the first place. But sadly, that love isn’t enough to keep me playing anymore. For the first time since launch, this month I’ve barely engaged with the game and have spent almost nothing.
The RNG Factor is a really huge reason most people are leaving the game. You don't feel victorious when you win, you just got luckier. And when you lose, it feels like the game is against you. I miss when it involved actual skill and practice to climb ladder. Made you feel more accomplished. And don't even get me started on DPD and Card Acquisition. Either way, will follow and enjoy your content no matter what game you play, so excited to see where this journey leads you next o/
I've been playing Snap since it came out, and tbh I feel the same way, Today I wanted Gorr, I only had 2 keys bc the last week I wasted 4 of my keys for the new card. Now I have no keys and no Gorr, and this happens over and over and over again and I'm so done, I can't even imagine how a new player must feel.
If Pokemon Pocket improves their cycle of events along with better award system, i will likely give up Marvel Snap a lot easier. The double whammy of bringing back Deadpool Diner without the changes the community asked for, alongside the worst series drop yet, it just feels like they're purposefully trying to scare off their playerbase. Ever since the High Voltage event (which I thoroughly enjoyed), its been so much harder to want to rank up to Infinite or play in Conquest. The game needs help and very soon.
I'm f2p but chill players so I play when I want while collecting keys! Almost hitting infinite but not a priority! So I don't mind if I don't hit it. I just play to kill time but enjoy new cards if I get them. {I have 3 keys rn after getting gorr (took 3 keys)}
i have 30 keys and almost 70k tokens. I really don't feel like i want to open any new cards. last card i got - season pass Surtur. My biggest frustration is amount of random introduced to the game (as you said - game shifted from skill base to luck base) and super frequent balance changes (reed it as cards nerfs). Why would i obtain a card which seams to be good in a time of realise, if it's guaranteed to be nerfed within 2-4 or so weeks?
Then how come I'm able to get most new cards every season and almost every card that I want despite only spending money for the season pass and on cosmetics? I'm spending less than $100 per month. The bundles that I buy rarely have tokens in them and often don't have a lot of credits; I buy the ones that have a good value on bundled gold, and then I spend the gold on variants, not mission refills. Also, at 2000 CL you're still in Series 3, and every single one of us has been through the six or so months it takes for that. You're still getting two or three cards every week.

This year really made me disenfranchised with the game. I didn't have my phone for 2 or 3 months. I didn't get a chance to get red hulk before the absence but worst of all i came into the arishem meta. Frustrated isnt the word for my experience upon my return. After the nostalgia left. I was reminded on exactly why playing the game felt like a chore. Playing hundreds of games to aquire cards i don't have. Inside of a bland meta. Which now requires 0 skill thanks to arishem. Im almost done with it tbh
Unfortunately the devs aren’t listening t0 their player base and this will end up hurting everyone. I hope you don’t leave. You’re my favourite creator by a mile ( Dekk is next ). But I like random. So I’ll stay. Advice for new players. Try to gain two collection levels a day and skip on cards you don’t like. Try not to fall behind 2000 credits. And only cash in your collection level to get credits if you can.. you mostly get crap anyway

It's sad to hear you might leave BUT it was also confirming. Gameplay is mostly excellent but the systems around it stink. Card acquisition is the pits. They don't want us to have all the cards. I do the season pass (stopped other purchases over a year ago) and all the dailies. It's not enough to keep up! Plus, for me, it's a 4-turn game no matter what deck I play. Today I just spent 4/5 keys on Gorr so now I'm cooked the for December. It feels awful month after month. They do nothing. I had given myself to the Jan season pass before i quit but I'm not sure I'll make it. I'm actively looking for other games so the writing is on that wall :(
I'm a pretty new subscriber and a more casual player, but I've learned quite a lot from watching your videos. I honestly just like collecting the different variants and using my favorite characters so it's unfortunate how much success in the game relies on meta cards and deck builds.
I have been away from the game for a few months. Before that i was a casual player that bought the seasonal pass and played enough to get the new cards eachs time. When loki dropped and changed a few times all fun went away. Just came back to it a little bit but everything remains free to play for me. I dont care about the seasonal card. Just need to get a few games in while i am busy dropping a nr 2😂
I find it nearly impossible to get the Series 4&5 cards I want/need for the decks I want to play/or play. But I am in Series 3 and started the game in the last season pass(Agend Venom). So I need over 100 cards to have achance to get a series 4&5 card from my progess?! Or just pure stupid luck with those keys. Problem is, i would need cards that were released not so long ago for mana manipulation or card draw or just to make some archetypes work because you cant play them without them....
But you're not being matched up against players with full collections. All of your opponents are in the same boat as you, so what's the big deal? You're not being disadvantaged due to your limited collection. You're just feeling the frustration that all collectible card game players feel, which is that there are so many decks that you want to play but you don't have the necessary pieces for them. for me its the spotlight release makes it hard to get new card, they said its easier but its not, we didnt get gold anymore to buy token or credits, getting less token and they removing gold from conquest as well is pretty big hit for f2p, with token at least i get a new card i need every few week, but with spotlight i cant even get card i needed
Ive been playing Gorr in SilverSurfer the last hour. Pretty stereotypical list of IronHeart, Mystique, Magik, RedGuardian, Phastos, Absorbing Man, Wong, Sera, Odin, and Psylock. I think that's the list. Point is. Basically every game Gorr is basically 20 or so. Not saying this is the ideal list. Its what I have as a new player. I have every card except for Ravona in a Negative deck. I know shes in a spotlight sometime this December. So, hopefully I get her and have a proper deck for Gorr.
Please don't stop making Marvel Snap videos. Even if you become a ftp player that many people would appreciate. You are my favorite streamer and this is the only game I play. The game play is by far better than Pokémon even if the card acquisition is worse.
Kinda on the urge of quitting snap myself. Used to be a regular infinite player then all these RNG based cards (along with my own terrible RNG) just makes the game super frustrating. Ill stick with snap but its implode simply cause SD is anticonsumer. Almost 20k cl and there is not justified reason to not put a benchmark between new card 7.5 million bubs plus removed most of the bots. Outrage is justified, i was angry years back when the writting was on the wall, now im numb to the hold thing and playing only when im having fun. Take care
I’m F2P and the answer is we arnt the best I can do is get the currency from the events or upgrading cards from the missions and guild missions etc but apart from that I just don’t get new cards 😭
I have no issues with the game. I'm still having a lot of fun. I have no issues keeping up with all the cards just with the season pass. I skip maybe 1 card a season, but currently have 8 keys after i got Gorr today. I wish Pokemon Pocket was fun for me. I find it boring and monotonous.
Agreed, I’m not spending money, once my keys are done, I’m gone. Card acquisition, series drops, balance, all need to be addressed. The time spent in game doesn’t feel rewarding.
I think new card is released too frequently. Compare with the resource that I have. That's mean that the missing cards in my account will keep increasing. If they didn't make any change in cards acquisition. At least they should reduce number of cards that are released.
Well I am still loving Marvel Snap even do changes haven’t happened and last season was my favorite season mostly because I was able to reach infinite for the first time it felt awesome. I been buying mostly the season pass but if there is a bundle that I really like the variant and I can afford it I will buy it. The last bundle I bought was the Toonpool Deadpool. I try playing Pokemon Pocket byt I don’t find entertaining in my opinion battle feel doll at least for me and gacha card system is so depressing when opening packs or trying your luck on Wonder trade. It’s getting harder and harder to even play a new card in a deck for a player who doesn’t actively acquire new cards You realize you miss a few other core cards in a deck which are in the previous releases in order to play that new card well (E.g Cassandra nova)
I've been playing since E.A. and being a F2P user, until a few months... it's just impossible to keep up with the new cards. I felt disrespected for being a F2P player, just the season pass cards makes me think that I can't feel the fresh experience that SD designed. So I quited.
with marvel ravel I think I will say goodbye to snap, but Snap in mobile still fun while waiting foe thing or take short break or even in work place's bathroom
Here I thought I was the only one who felt this way. Unfortunately, I don't see the company really changing anything that will breathe life back into the masses. It has been an undefeated record of unfulfilled promises from the devs. It was good while it lasted.
When I want to chill I play Pokemon. One or two games, and I'm fine and happy. Snap is just a continuous frustration, when it's not because of Arishem it's because some of the billions counters that exist in the game, or the featured location, or the new broken card that everyone is playing, or totally match defining locations RNG. I don't know how they can save the game, they just buried themselves week after week in the last year.
Ftp player since global launch here. How do we keep up? We skip new cards week after week and hope the card wont have a big impact. Look, i think i m gonnna skip all December new cards because the spotlights fillers are just garbage. It s not just worth it.
Snap has slowly been going into same direction that made me lose interest in hearthstone; too many matches decided by rng. I kind of embraced it and mostly play arishem, because the winrate is pretty similar to thought out decks, especially as location and draws decide if the deck works. Dunno, the card aquisition is same as always, poor, especially with the ? in key spending giving out 1k tokens instead of cards you don't own. The variant aquisition is pretty pants as well, too many variants for the store rng to hit what you'd like. I'll probably keep playing until something more interesting comes along, but yeah, needs a major change to keep it interesting, or atleast move away from "play against deck of the week for a day, then play against same 3 decks the rest of week."
While I definitely have my frustrations with the game, I didn't realize how dire things are. After the drop announcement, the community frustration has become much more salient. Even very positive streamers are making videos like this. I really hope Second Dinner makes the right adjustments soon. I'd hate to see my favorite creators leave.
1:30 pokemon pocket is the way to go ngl i'v recently returned to snap for surter but now that pocket exists in my life i really don't enjoy snap as i did in the past I used to always grind to top 500 but now i just go to pocket after i do my dailys

Already shifted to Pokemon pocket which iam currently have much fun playing an venasaur ex and Charizard ultra ex decks(got lucky in both wonder pick and packs and got both ex early) problem with snap is card acquisition has pretty much been bad for a year now now no update on that other than saying there working on it and yet they have time to make stuff the collector's vault and premium pass plus which nobody asked for like it is clear at this point the just want to milk the game as much and for as long as they can the series drops proves it further stuff like jeff, dark hawk etc remains while mostly trash cards are dropped just staying till dec to try out doom2099 after which will probably uninstall snap which sucks cause I actually enjoyed the game
Arishem imo has to be one of the most damaging cards to the meta that has ever existed. I know that usually people say this about cards but I truly do not know why Special Dinner seems so committed to repeating the same discount metas over and over and over. you'd think loki would have taught us something. i don't really know what the solution is, but being able to outpace your oppoenent so vastly while also having a completely unpredictable deck is the WORST to play against
I agree with everything, Marvel Snap is getting boring and I don't have fun playing anymore, card aquisition is horrible and the bundles are getting crazy with the prices, I just don't have the will to play anymore, while I love playing Pokemon Pocket I'm still sad to see the state Snap is, I will probably get the next season pass and see how the Rivals season will be, if I can't get back in the game properly by january, I'll probably leave, hopefully more online card games will come out, I love these kind of games
My issue is whilst Cap America and Hulk and other iconic characters are rubbish and unplayable - whilst second rate marvel characters like Hit Monkey, Sage, Mocking Bird etc are so powerful and are series 5 - The balance is way off
Hearing the same thing from multiple content creators tells me the game is likely cooked. I'm F2P, I'm enjoying it for what it is as I don't care if I get to infinite. I just enjoy building decks and seeing what happens. I get, just like mobile game, I can never be "meta" for long as game devs try their hardest to make sure F2P decks cannot be top tier. And, just because, had to laugh when you yelled, "I thought he would routinely be 15 or 16, but he's humongous!" That is, well... exactly what she said.
I think SD should abolish series 4 cards from the spotlight along with the random/duplicate caches slot and rotate more cards within the pass 3 seasons so you're able to obtain a card you couldn't pick up during the moment it released. Obtain 3 keys with every season pass purchase to entice even free 2 play to buy into getting guaranteed cards for one of the weeks and allows you to play catch up Flip side is that people in the community wants every card and I know there's people in here with 1 or 2 keys rolling for Gorr... please stop as we cannot keep up with content creators. This game isn't meant for us to obtain every single card every week unless you have the cash to fund the hobby
I feel the same the Devs seem to be acting in bad faith in my opinion. The game has becoming more predatory with their pricing and gacha mechanics. DD and series drops was the final nail in the coffin for me. I will no longer be supporting the game financially.
They kill every fun card, and buff all the control cards. Its just me or what? But it feels like the game move from casual fun, 2 be engagement/time consuming focus. So much stuff you have to do with decks/cards you probably dont like.
my problem with Marvel snap is the Meta. I only buy the season pass and i only get the cards that seem like i could make a fun deck but the meta decks are always broken and not fun to play with. Not only that they keep making the most eritating decks more powerful. my least favorite deck to play against and with is Black panther because its not fun and it takes no skill to play.
The SNAP downfall start when they change the series drop schedule, with lame excuse. Also intentionally holding the "meta" card in higher series for you know why. It's really sad to see how a great game driven by greed, and I really surprised this happened quite fast, on the year 2 !!. For now I'm so ready to leave the game but I'll stick around, until their next series drop (I somehow still have hope, and still want to give them last chance).
I don't believe in supporting a cause when it isn't doing a good job to support you back, so you should follow passion wherever it takes you. If poor management fails Snap and makes Pokemon pocket the next big thing, I'll play the one that is fun
Funny the random decks are your least favourite. Maybe it's our respective levels? I don't see too much Loki really, all I see is a seemingly never ending progression of control mill disrupt decks. It's really tedious. I don't know what UA-camrs see in them, they seem to only be fun for one side. If you call getting to 11 in the left location fun I guess.

It's cause most creators have every card to make good decks with but the comments end up being filled with people saying they are missing most the cards in the decks they make so they can't really make good content anymore these big creators also have to spend money on the game to keep this but when normal players can't keep up what's the point

It's the 2 gd years of we're working on it and we hear you bullshit that has been slowly building up resentment. Then the release of DPD 2.0 which only made it worse after there was a ton of hate when it first released. Enough is enough, it's just pure greed on their part and clearly shows they don't give AF about any of us.
My reason for leaving Snap is pettier and less logical than the inclusion of Loki and Arishem, I just liked Destroy and for almost a year have grinded splits for that decks's cards, and at one point I just thought how miserable I felt playing the game with destroy, and just left. I kept watching content creators play eben tough I haven't opened the app in months now, but seeing the games amd videos about it's current state has made me a little sad about how much it's struggling overall in it's meta and card acquisition system, to the point where it's almost not fun seeing said videos anymore. Don't get me wrong, the decks are still creative and the players have personality, but seeing people get angry again and again for the same universal reasons is getting old and exhausting as a viewer, so jump out of the loop of the game seems pretty justified even if a little tragic

Very wild that, for a live service game, I cannot recommend it to friends because of how hard it is to build a collection. Most people simply don’t have the time required to dedicate to it. Sucks that there’s no resolution in sight.

I got Arishem literally 5 minutes before the week change because I had to get a 4th key.
I love the game but lately it seems like more of a chore to keep up with. Deadpool’s Diner is a horrible grind, I much preferred High Voltage. Today it took me four keys to get Gorr and that felt bad too. Not a great week moving into the Rivals season.

There's a post on reddit about how Ben said that card acquisition does not work unless they drop cards at equal pace, eg. #of s5->4 = #of s4 ->3, that is no where to be seen and yeah the current state is unsustainable. I am low key checked out ATM and only get 1-2 cards per month for 1-2 architypes, I also stopped spending due to the insane price on the bundles. This will die for me eventually if nothing changes onwards, and I think you speak true to lots players who keeps up and chips out money for the game.
The RNG is what's ruining the gameplay the most for me.
I couldn’t agree more with your points on card acquisition. I’m a relatively new player, and started playing back in July and it is ridiculous how card acquisition is. I usually try and save all the credits for the week and open them up every Tuesdays, so anywhere from 7,000 - 9,000 credits each time and the most card I ever got was 3 at one time. But this latest event, Deadpool Dinner, has completely made me fall out of love with this game. I’m at the point where I don’t care about reaching infinite or conquest. I’ll play and when I run out of bubs I just turn the game off, I’m not wasting my gold for that bs event
Thanks for sharing. I left Snap two days ago after finally being fed up. I spent quite a bit on it, only to have to deal with the very difficult and greedy card acquisition system this game has. It's like a gambling game now, which is crazy. Almost 2 years of patience and hoping for when it improves (second dinner always gives false promises), i think they are only there for the money, unfortunately.
It's a business, not a charity, so of course they are in it for the money, LMAO! Are you so young as to be naive to how the world works? You didn't say what other game you left Snap for, but all successful for-profit collectible card games are "gambling games" with "very difficult and greedy" card acquisition systems. I don't know if you've tried Pokémon Pocket, but that game has a WAY worse card acquisition system despite what many people will try to tell you. If you want to play any of these freemium games and not eventually get fed up, you have to accept that you will never get everything that you want unless you're a whale and that you will never keep up with the whales. Because at the end of the day, all sustainable freemium games exist primarily to milk the whales, not to cater to F2P.

@@ydgmdluI don't enjoy the gameplay in pokémon Pocket but I haven't spent a dime on that game and I already have the top three meta decks I have had no issue collecting cards in that game because you literally get 10 cards a day for free on top of the four hourglasses you get every day for your daily quests so you get an extra pack every 3 days and then also you have Wonder pics so you get a free card or two every day from that and because you only need the base EX level of a card it's really not that hard to get the cards you need and most of the meta decks half the cards are exactly the same with the trainer cards and support cards so it's really easy to make a lot of the decks
@@The_MEMEphisum yeah, that good feeling that you have will go away eventually, and sooner rather than later. You're only feeling that way now because the card pool is small and you were showered with packs as part of the new player experience. The same thing happened in the earliest days of Snap, when everyone was trying get through Series 1 and Series 2 and the three meta decks were Zoo, Devil Dinosaur, and Odin. Everyone could easily build those "meta" decks, and everyone was getting like half a dozen new cards every day.
You won't get anywhere near as many free packs as the new player experience when the Pocket mini set releases in December or when the next full set releases in January. Imagine six months from now, after a second mini set and a third full set have been released. I'm sure that the meta decks at that time will require two copies each of specific cards from almost all of the sets. No free player will have every mechanically unique card by that time (by which I mean the diamond-rarity cards), so you'll see the exact same complaints as you see in the Snap community. Free players will not be able to keep up with whales and will struggle to build the meta decks six months from now.
I've opened over 300 packs, collected almost 1800 cards. This is approximately the maximum amount that free players can get within a three-month period. I still don't have every mechanically unique card card in Genetic Apex, let alone two copies of each. I'm completely missing Moltres EX and Venusaur EX and only have single copies of five other EX Pokémon, so I am locked out of playing quite a few strong decks, even though I have the two best decks (Pikachu and Mewtwo) fully built and like half a dozen other kinda meta decks fully built as well. Over the weekend a lot of people started saying that Charizard + Arcanine might be the new best deck, but I can't play it at all because I don't have Moltres EX.
Then "ten free cards per day" is a useless point because they are not all new cards. You will get to the point in which those ten cards will all be duplicates day after day after day, so they might as well not even exist.

I'm a casual SNAP player. I watch videos and keep up with stuff and buy the season pass but I also am not overly competitive so the RNG doesn't get to me. There's still a lot to be enjoyed about this game I think as long as you can accept that it is not a 100% skill based game.
But burn out is a thing. At least people are burning out NOW and not 6 months from now after they've already dropped thousands of more dollars on the game.

Thanks for your videos has always. I tried to get into Pokémon game i couldn't. But Snap has said more events were coming and new game plays too. Like things to do in the game. There is so much they could do. Like put up a daily road map, type plays. Or having a war between the alliances. Where the alliance battle it out for the top spot. Etc. So much they can do with this game.
i've been playing completely F2P from launch, but very casually (mainly just checking off daily missions)
i really enjoy the deck building process! so because i only really get joy out of creating my own ideas for decks/takes on certain archetypes i'm not really frustrated that i don't have all the cards, because i'm not chasing the meta i guess?
and yeah because i'm not in infinite, i'm going up against other lower ranked players as well as bots so non meta decks are competitive!
so yeah coz i've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of a game i've never spent a cent on, i don't really have that same bitterness a lot of other players have towards the game, but i can completely understand that if you're spending money on this game your expectations of it would be higher!
I'm a casual but buy the season pass every month, hit infinite in 2-3 days, and do the alliance stuff. I still enjoy the game and while I totally understand people's frustration and agree with their critiques, it's just not the level at which I engage with the game. I'm feeling alright about my own card acquisition and ability to compete for my goals.
I hate that in the current system I have to elect to skip entire archetypes of cards just so I have keys for more meta cards, I haven't been able to play a good discard deck in a year+
Nina, you are hands down my favorite Snap content creator. I knew of you from your Hearthstone days but Snap really drew me to your videos and your streams. And because I'm a fan your comments in the video are no surprise but does suck to hear. As a casual Snap player, I only spend money on the season passes and if I really grind I could typically have enough keys to get 1 or 2 cards a month, depending on the RNG. I've been super lucky that normally when I use keys it only takes me 1 or 2 keys to get the new card. Even with that kind of luck it is hard to get cards so I can't argue with your frustrations. For those of us who are missing a ton of cards, cards like Arishem are the only way I get to play some of the newer cards so I can't complain about him.
I know you are typically a 1 game type of creator but I would love to see you branch out to play more games because, and this is no offense to anyone who likes and plays Pocket but I just hate that game. I never was a Pokemon fan so that has a lot to do with it. I do miss your Snap content and streams but totally understand your feelings and am glad you have a game like Pocket that you seem to genuinely enjoy!
It usually takes me 3-4 keys to get a new card (4 for Gorr today) so I never have any keys and have to use collectors tokens to buy new cards 😭

I left Snap (at least for now) simply because it feels like I am obligated to grind every week for something that might interest me for a very short time or not at all. As a f2p (not counting buying variants), I just see myself stuck in a loop where, by the end of the week, I don't even use the new card because it doesn't mesh well with the cards that I have and is probably dependent on the newer cards that I basically have to gamble for. The gameplay loop feels like a chore rather than something fun to do in the free time
As a player who is only spending money on battle pass, it is always a disappointment to open a cache...if I am lucky I get 1 new card per season besides my season pass card. In the last couple of months I am just doing the daily quests and that's it. In last battle pass I even missed like the extra skin for the BP card...this is the start of the downfall...same thing happened with Warzone for me...I think within a few seasons I will completely stop buying battle pass then stop playing the game. Grinding money off on game mechanics is just not right...kills the fun.
I am always pumped for the new season video...I guess just hoping for better.
Feeling the same way. I don’t like losing a match to locations. Don’t like the fact we have to download another program to track deck when it should be already in game. Maybe another three more months of play and than I most likely will stop if nothing changes.

Interesting to hear your thoughts on the game, Nina. Sad to hear that you’re not enjoying the game as much anymore, as I’ve always enjoyed watching your videos and streams, but I get it. I’ve been playing consistently for 2 years now. I’m still playing every day, but a lot a lot less than I was - just to earn my achievements and alliance tasks. I’ve stopped buying the season pass the last few months and can’t see myself dropping the game completely in the future. But that’s fine. I got 2 years out of it and it’s the first mobile game that I can say that about.

I've been mostly F2P since launch (bought 1 season pass) and been regularly getting to infinite (i play too much)... I actually like Arishem without Loki because of the randomness and also it's impossible for me to get all the cards and it's the only way to get to play new cards. I wish there was a more casual mode. The most frustrating thing is definitely card and even variant acquisition. I hate opening caches and spotlight caches are super frustrating. I'm missing like 28 cards and it seems i always need 4 keys to get a new one.
Using tokens is scary because you never know when they're going to nerf a card.
The game mechanics themselves are amazing. The animation bugs and game crashes (on iphone) are super frustrating. Also the fast forward needs to be fixed.
I had to tell myself that rank doesnt matter in this game because the location pulls sometimes just irritate the heck outta me.
If i get negative power on 1 zone, and then something like switching hands turn 6, Insta retreat
I agree with everything you said in your video, I really enjoy the artwork on the cards and love seeing all the variants but I rarely have fun playing the game anymore. Deadpool’s diner just sucks to lose all your bubs in one match and have to wait, really makes me sad seeing the state of snap now.

I like the gameplay of snap more than pocket but i hate the fact i cant make most of the best decks in the game. I live in Africa (Ghana) and buying a season pass means I'm not i have to be on a budget more than i am on now. Which makes me enjoy pocket as a game even as a free to play player i have almost all the cards in the game only left with 4 cards but i have been playing marvel snap for 2 years snice gobal lunch and i am no way near collection complete
Gorr will probably be nerfed in the next OTA depending on the table of probabilities equal or more to 15 power.
The gameplay in SNAP is still good and Arishem is in fact a good thing for the game. The economy and bad monetization system is what kills this game atm...
Fellow whale here. Invested since Beta, but my enjoyment of the game has been dwindling as well. I had taken a mental break for a month around September and was surprised how far behind I was in the game when I came back. It has been really discouraging. Now its a chore to login with the fear of falling further behind, but maybe this is a sign that I just need to invest into something else worth my time? I think I need to stop torturing myself and give Snap the boot.
Pocket is great and I love it so far. It just feels less demanding. Also your content is awesome. I will be following you into the world of Pokemon for sure.

I just returned to the game recently after leaving right around when spotlight caches came. High voltage is the most fun i have ever had with the game. If that mode was permanent, I'd probably be able to let card aquisition slide a little bit more. But after experiencing deadpools diner and these awful series drops (that are crazy infrequent) coupled with the constant "we hear you were working on it" have me close to quitting again.
I’ve been a whale in Marvel Snap for a long time, but as of this month, I’m quickly transitioning to being a guppy. Card acquisition is absolutely terrible, and it feels like Second Dinner acknowledges the issues but does nothing to fix them. The RNG aspect you mentioned is spot on-it’s becoming far too luck-based, which is frustrating. What got Marvel Snap from point A to point B clearly isn’t going to take them to point C, and that’s a huge problem.
Nina, you shouldn’t feel bad about stepping away. Everything you pointed out is absolutely valid. Snap is in a tough spot right now, and it hurts to see it like this. I don’t play many mobile games, and it was my love for Marvel that brought me to Snap in the first place. But sadly, that love isn’t enough to keep me playing anymore. For the first time since launch, this month I’ve barely engaged with the game and have spent almost nothing.
The RNG Factor is a really huge reason most people are leaving the game. You don't feel victorious when you win, you just got luckier. And when you lose, it feels like the game is against you. I miss when it involved actual skill and practice to climb ladder. Made you feel more accomplished. And don't even get me started on DPD and Card Acquisition. Either way, will follow and enjoy your content no matter what game you play, so excited to see where this journey leads you next o/

I've been playing Snap since it came out, and tbh I feel the same way, Today I wanted Gorr, I only had 2 keys bc the last week I wasted 4 of my keys for the new card. Now I have no keys and no Gorr, and this happens over and over and over again and I'm so done, I can't even imagine how a new player must feel.

If Pokemon Pocket improves their cycle of events along with better award system, i will likely give up Marvel Snap a lot easier. The double whammy of bringing back Deadpool Diner without the changes the community asked for, alongside the worst series drop yet, it just feels like they're purposefully trying to scare off their playerbase. Ever since the High Voltage event (which I thoroughly enjoyed), its been so much harder to want to rank up to Infinite or play in Conquest. The game needs help and very soon.
I'm f2p but chill players so I play when I want while collecting keys! Almost hitting infinite but not a priority! So I don't mind if I don't hit it. I just play to kill time but enjoy new cards if I get them. {I have 3 keys rn after getting gorr (took 3 keys)}

I tried so hard not to leave the game but the monetisation of the game is so bad and i couldn't keep up so i left for now
i have 30 keys and almost 70k tokens. I really don't feel like i want to open any new cards. last card i got - season pass Surtur. My biggest frustration is amount of random introduced to the game (as you said - game shifted from skill base to luck base) and super frequent balance changes (reed it as cards nerfs). Why would i obtain a card which seams to be good in a time of realise, if it's guaranteed to be nerfed within 2-4 or so weeks?
I quit, the game is awesome but my frustration with getting cards at 2000cl is imposible without spending a huge amount of money for a card.
Then how come I'm able to get most new cards every season and almost every card that I want despite only spending money for the season pass and on cosmetics? I'm spending less than $100 per month. The bundles that I buy rarely have tokens in them and often don't have a lot of credits; I buy the ones that have a good value on bundled gold, and then I spend the gold on variants, not mission refills. Also, at 2000 CL you're still in Series 3, and every single one of us has been through the six or so months it takes for that. You're still getting two or three cards every week.

This year really made me disenfranchised with the game. I didn't have my phone for 2 or 3 months. I didn't get a chance to get red hulk before the absence but worst of all i came into the arishem meta.
Frustrated isnt the word for my experience upon my return. After the nostalgia left. I was reminded on exactly why playing the game felt like a chore. Playing hundreds of games to aquire cards i don't have. Inside of a bland meta. Which now requires 0 skill thanks to arishem. Im almost done with it tbh

Advice for new players. Try to gain two collection levels a day and skip on cards you don’t like. Try not to fall behind 2000 credits. And only cash in your collection level to get credits if you can.. you mostly get crap anyway

It's sad to hear you might leave BUT it was also confirming. Gameplay is mostly excellent but the systems around it stink. Card acquisition is the pits. They don't want us to have all the cards. I do the season pass (stopped other purchases over a year ago) and all the dailies. It's not enough to keep up! Plus, for me, it's a 4-turn game no matter what deck I play. Today I just spent 4/5 keys on Gorr so now I'm cooked the for December. It feels awful month after month. They do nothing. I had given myself to the Jan season pass before i quit but I'm not sure I'll make it. I'm actively looking for other games so the writing is on that wall :(
I'm a pretty new subscriber and a more casual player, but I've learned quite a lot from watching your videos. I honestly just like collecting the different variants and using my favorite characters so it's unfortunate how much success in the game relies on meta cards and deck builds.
I have been away from the game for a few months. Before that i was a casual player that bought the seasonal pass and played enough to get the new cards eachs time. When loki dropped and changed a few times all fun went away. Just came back to it a little bit but everything remains free to play for me. I dont care about the seasonal card. Just need to get a few games in while i am busy dropping a nr 2😂
I find it nearly impossible to get the Series 4&5 cards I want/need for the decks I want to play/or play. But I am in Series 3 and started the game in the last season pass(Agend Venom).
So I need over 100 cards to have achance to get a series 4&5 card from my progess?!
Or just pure stupid luck with those keys. Problem is, i would need cards that were released not so long ago for mana manipulation or card draw or just to make some archetypes work because you cant play them without them....
But you're not being matched up against players with full collections. All of your opponents are in the same boat as you, so what's the big deal? You're not being disadvantaged due to your limited collection. You're just feeling the frustration that all collectible card game players feel, which is that there are so many decks that you want to play but you don't have the necessary pieces for them. for me its the spotlight release makes it hard to get new card, they said its easier but its not, we didnt get gold anymore to buy token or credits, getting less token and they removing gold from conquest as well is pretty big hit for f2p, with token at least i get a new card i need every few week, but with spotlight i cant even get card i needed
Ive been playing Gorr in SilverSurfer the last hour. Pretty stereotypical list of IronHeart, Mystique, Magik, RedGuardian, Phastos, Absorbing Man, Wong, Sera, Odin, and Psylock. I think that's the list.
Point is. Basically every game Gorr is basically 20 or so. Not saying this is the ideal list. Its what I have as a new player.
I have every card except for Ravona in a Negative deck. I know shes in a spotlight sometime this December. So, hopefully I get her and have a proper deck for Gorr.
Please don't stop making Marvel Snap videos. Even if you become a ftp player that many people would appreciate. You are my favorite streamer and this is the only game I play. The game play is by far better than Pokémon even if the card acquisition is worse.
Kinda on the urge of quitting snap myself. Used to be a regular infinite player then all these RNG based cards (along with my own terrible RNG) just makes the game super frustrating. I feel angry playing this game! Maybe thats my sign to quit...sucks after blowing a ton of money into this game and the rng still hates me...🖕🖕🖕, Snap!!
Ill stick with snap but its implode simply cause SD is anticonsumer. Almost 20k cl and there is not justified reason to not put a benchmark between new card 7.5 million bubs plus removed most of the bots. Outrage is justified, i was angry years back when the writting was on the wall, now im numb to the hold thing and playing only when im having fun. Take care
DPD is such a feel bad mode. I got the new card (it's bad btw) and I'm not even going to bother with the rest of the rewards.
I’m F2P and the answer is we arnt the best I can do is get the currency from the events or upgrading cards from the missions and guild missions etc but apart from that I just don’t get new cards 😭
I have no issues with the game. I'm still having a lot of fun. I have no issues keeping up with all the cards just with the season pass. I skip maybe 1 card a season, but currently have 8 keys after i got Gorr today.
I wish Pokemon Pocket was fun for me. I find it boring and monotonous.
Agreed, I’m not spending money, once my keys are done, I’m gone. Card acquisition, series drops, balance, all need to be addressed. The time spent in game doesn’t feel rewarding.
I think new card is released too frequently. Compare with the resource that I have. That's mean that the missing cards in my account will keep increasing.
If they didn't make any change in cards acquisition. At least they should reduce number of cards that are released.

Well I am still loving Marvel Snap even do changes haven’t happened and last season was my favorite season mostly because I was able to reach infinite for the first time it felt awesome. I been buying mostly the season pass but if there is a bundle that I really like the variant and I can afford it I will buy it. The last bundle I bought was the Toonpool Deadpool. I try playing Pokemon Pocket byt I don’t find entertaining in my opinion battle feel doll at least for me and gacha card system is so depressing when opening packs or trying your luck on Wonder trade. It’s getting harder and harder to even play a new card in a deck for a player who doesn’t actively acquire new cards
You realize you miss a few other core cards in a deck which are in the previous releases in order to play that new card well

I've been playing since E.A. and being a F2P user, until a few months... it's just impossible to keep up with the new cards. I felt disrespected for being a F2P player, just the season pass cards makes me think that I can't feel the fresh experience that SD designed. So I quited.
Arisheem is such a dumb card. i wish they would finally adjust him.
with marvel ravel I think I will say goodbye to snap, but Snap in mobile still fun while waiting foe thing or take short break or even in work place's bathroom

Here I thought I was the only one who felt this way. Unfortunately, I don't see the company really changing anything that will breathe life back into the masses. It has been an undefeated record of unfulfilled promises from the devs. It was good while it lasted.
What really gets me is they are trying to sell me snowguard for 70 bucks when she’s pending for a series drop
When I want to chill I play Pokemon. One or two games, and I'm fine and happy. Snap is just a continuous frustration, when it's not because of Arishem it's because some of the billions counters that exist in the game, or the featured location, or the new broken card that everyone is playing, or totally match defining locations RNG. I don't know how they can save the game, they just buried themselves week after week in the last year.
When I first read the card I thought it was only your "on reveal" cards not all "on reveal"

Ftp player since global launch here. How do we keep up? We skip new cards week after week and hope the card wont have a big impact. Look, i think i m gonnna skip all December new cards because the spotlights fillers are just garbage. It s not just worth it.
Snap has slowly been going into same direction that made me lose interest in hearthstone; too many matches decided by rng. I kind of embraced it and mostly play arishem, because the winrate is pretty similar to thought out decks, especially as location and draws decide if the deck works. Dunno, the card aquisition is same as always, poor, especially with the ? in key spending giving out 1k tokens instead of cards you don't own. The variant aquisition is pretty pants as well, too many variants for the store rng to hit what you'd like. I'll probably keep playing until something more interesting comes along, but yeah, needs a major change to keep it interesting, or atleast move away from "play against deck of the week for a day, then play against same 3 decks the rest of week."
While I definitely have my frustrations with the game, I didn't realize how dire things are. After the drop announcement, the community frustration has become much more salient. Even very positive streamers are making videos like this. I really hope Second Dinner makes the right adjustments soon. I'd hate to see my favorite creators leave.

1:30 pokemon pocket is the way to go ngl i'v recently returned to snap for surter but now that pocket exists in my life i really don't enjoy snap as i did in the past I used to always grind to top 500 but now i just go to pocket after i do my dailys
playing since s1, almost hiting infit all of them "almost", i dont have darkhawk, its fuking crazy XD. 736h in steam (i play on movile to). I have lucky whit keys and still whit all this luck imposible to keep as only season pass buys.
Ive grown so disinterested in the game and ive did my share of whaling on the game. Its hitting the same point with me similar to hearthstone did, where im like naw id rather play something else. Acquistion for getting cards is still ass, for old and new players. The amount series 5 cards that some couldve been series 4 or 3 even..i will stick out to finish the year but i feel done going into 2025
Already shifted to Pokemon pocket which iam currently have much fun playing an venasaur ex and Charizard ultra ex decks(got lucky in both wonder pick and packs and got both ex early) problem with snap is card acquisition has pretty much been bad for a year now now no update on that other than saying there working on it and yet they have time to make stuff the collector's vault and premium pass plus which nobody asked for like it is clear at this point the just want to milk the game as much and for as long as they can the series drops proves it further stuff like jeff, dark hawk etc remains while mostly trash cards are dropped just staying till dec to try out doom2099 after which will probably uninstall snap which sucks cause I actually enjoyed the game
Arishem imo has to be one of the most damaging cards to the meta that has ever existed. I know that usually people say this about cards but I truly do not know why Special Dinner seems so committed to repeating the same discount metas over and over and over. you'd think loki would have taught us something. i don't really know what the solution is, but being able to outpace your oppoenent so vastly while also having a completely unpredictable deck is the WORST to play against

I agree with everything, Marvel Snap is getting boring and I don't have fun playing anymore, card aquisition is horrible and the bundles are getting crazy with the prices, I just don't have the will to play anymore, while I love playing Pokemon Pocket I'm still sad to see the state Snap is, I will probably get the next season pass and see how the Rivals season will be, if I can't get back in the game properly by january, I'll probably leave, hopefully more online card games will come out, I love these kind of games
My issue is whilst Cap America and Hulk and other iconic characters are rubbish and unplayable - whilst second rate marvel characters like Hit Monkey, Sage, Mocking Bird etc are so powerful and are series 5 - The balance is way off

Hearing the same thing from multiple content creators tells me the game is likely cooked.
I'm F2P, I'm enjoying it for what it is as I don't care if I get to infinite. I just enjoy building decks and seeing what happens. I get, just like mobile game, I can never be "meta" for long as game devs try their hardest to make sure F2P decks cannot be top tier.
And, just because, had to laugh when you yelled, "I thought he would routinely be 15 or 16, but he's humongous!" That is, well... exactly what she said.
I think SD should abolish series 4 cards from the spotlight along with the random/duplicate caches slot and rotate more cards within the pass 3 seasons so you're able to obtain a card you couldn't pick up during the moment it released. Obtain 3 keys with every season pass purchase to entice even free 2 play to buy into getting guaranteed cards for one of the weeks and allows you to play catch up
Flip side is that people in the community wants every card and I know there's people in here with 1 or 2 keys rolling for Gorr... please stop as we cannot keep up with content creators. This game isn't meant for us to obtain every single card every week unless you have the cash to fund the hobby

I feel the same the Devs seem to be acting in bad faith in my opinion. The game has becoming more predatory with their pricing and gacha mechanics. DD and series drops was the final nail in the coffin for me. I will no longer be supporting the game financially.
They kill every fun card, and buff all the control cards. Its just me or what? But it feels like the game move from casual fun, 2 be engagement/time consuming focus. So much stuff you have to do with decks/cards you probably dont like.
my problem with Marvel snap is the Meta. I only buy the season pass and i only get the cards that seem like i could make a fun deck but the meta decks are always broken and not fun to play with. Not only that they keep making the most eritating decks more powerful. my least favorite deck to play against and with is Black panther because its not fun and it takes no skill to play.

The SNAP downfall start when they change the series drop schedule, with lame excuse. Also intentionally holding the "meta" card in higher series for you know why. It's really sad to see how a great game driven by greed, and I really surprised this happened quite fast, on the year 2 !!.
For now I'm so ready to leave the game but I'll stick around, until their next series drop (I somehow still have hope, and still want to give them last chance).
I don't believe in supporting a cause when it isn't doing a good job to support you back, so you should follow passion wherever it takes you. If poor management fails Snap and makes Pokemon pocket the next big thing, I'll play the one that is fun
Funny the random decks are your least favourite. Maybe it's our respective levels? I don't see too much Loki really, all I see is a seemingly never ending progression of control mill disrupt decks. It's really tedious. I don't know what UA-camrs see in them, they seem to only be fun for one side. If you call getting to 11 in the left location fun I guess.
