haha, agreed. I won't be doing this exact challenge again for awhile, but I've got some ideas already for the next one (Video Challenges won't be a regularly scheduled thing).
Re-watching this video in 2024 and really missing your content Sheriff JCarver! Really love the way you're entertaining yourself and the viewers during the session without any chat interaction XD I'm re-learning to enjoy the game now after a painful run in the past few months as you and many poker players know it can be very painful at times~ Watching your passion for the game and the joy you're having definitely helps! Hope you're doing well in life Jason and thanks for being your incredible contents :)
ha, this is good feedback, thanks man. I've been playing around with it but can't really see much of a difference most days. I think that 11am pacific slot makes most people happy
i'm only 10 minutes into this video and its already one of my favorite internet poker vids ever lol I used to love doing weird stuff like this online. You have a new subscriber my friend!
JASON!! LMAO - sir, you have brought together two of life's greatest joys into one video, poker and laughter! Completely enjoyed this, as loopy and entertaining as it was, can't stop thinking about how many players you would get on tilt in a live game environment, i think even the dealer would want to be changed to another table. well done sir, enjoy your work, keep it up
I wasn't really sure how to interpret that with no history and decided to give him credit at the time given how bad of shape we're in if he has what he's pretending to have
he didn't do it as a strategy. he did it more as a challenge. As a strategy it works fine if you switch it up at the point where the table catches on - which they will - and tighten up. If you can stay ahead of your table image, then it becomes a strategy.
i loved this episode it was a great format and a nice change of limits. Also I love the idea of having a schedule to abide by and dont have to stick to just running it up although I am still waiting for #LongIslandLarry
JASON SOMERVILLE.. I'M FROM RIO DE JANEIRO BRAZIL ..I'M A BIG FAN OF YOUR POKER AND YOUR PERSON.. I WATCHED EVERY SINGLE VID.. YOU RE A MONSTER PLAYING POKER BUT YOU RE A ULTRA MAXIMUM INCREDIBLE COACHING US.. YOU RE A GOD COACHING.. I'D LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU FOR THE VIDS AND I WISH YOU MAKE MORE OF IT.. LIKE THE EATING CAKE SERIES.. A LOT OF CASH GAME MATCHES.. 2/4 .. 1/2 .. THANK YOU VERY MUCH MAN! I WISH YOU ALL GOOD ! AND A LOT OF BRACELETS FOR YOU ..
This was the best video of yours I've watched, and I've watched close to 50 now. It's weird, but you and I would be good friends if this is the "real" Jason Somerville.
hahah that was fun, I liked it a lot. And I love the idea of JCarver Daily! If you post in the morning that should be good for Europe... Like 8am PDT is 5pm in Central Europe...
Love the videos Jason. Based on your advice have changed my cat avatar to the more respectful ninja and must admit like the change. keep up the good work.from 1 of the 9%
Great fun video - 4.35am here in UK - bit behind on Twitter so only found the link about half hour ago. :) Loved the sherrif moment too and the different format as well. Looking forward to the next installment too, as always. :)
I don't think you could do this every Saturday because players would be wise to you. If I was in Nevada, I would really be looking forward to " Win Every Hand " day. Another great video from JCarver.
Forgot to mention or really just omitted. Good video you the boss on that table! Also enjoy hearing the short stories and unfortunately I think everyone has at least had 1 friend who bailed on them after "borrowing" from someone. I lent someone about 800$ and never saw the money again. Lesson is never to lend so much it might cause problems financially, at least for me.
"I'm winning this hand bitch!" lmao
haha, agreed. I won't be doing this exact challenge again for awhile, but I've got some ideas already for the next one (Video Challenges won't be a regularly scheduled thing).

Man jcarver. You're a freakin boss lol. Sick over betting and super raising to get these guys to just fold. Impressive work
deciding to stop the challenge and play normal (even my "normal") would be an insanely profitable situation for sure
Smart. Funny. Natural. Awesome.

I love how Chael Sonnen has thousands of followers on twitter but doesn't follow anyone. Respect to the legend.
I wasn't really sure how to interpret that with no history and decided to give him credit at the time given how bad of shape we're in if he has what he's pretending to have
your a legend mate respect x10000000000

Do more of these man. These are great, wow.
Very entertaining - I enjoy your run it up vids but I prefer these higher limit cash games
I don't think you could do this every Saturday because players would be wise to you. If I was in Nevada, I would really be looking forward to " Win Every Hand " day. Another great video from JCarver.
Hahahaha....I never want to fold a hand again in a cash game....awesome vid/experiment!
best vid yet btw.....
Best video yet. I would l like to see you play some higher stakes at least once a week aswel as run it up.
you're probably not gonna like this answer but you really should adapt your raise sizing based on your opponents, dynamic, and the game you're in.
Your one sweet fella' Jason, i like you :). Keep run it up brother . Greetings from Romania :D
fun video
How about an episode where you have to bet the amount of dollars that your cards add up to when you open. 2-7 = 9 dollar open? :P Ace ACE = 28
Kisstafer Moses no.
+Kisstafer Moses ACE ACE = 22
+SoloSynQ or 2
sean murphy or 12, but who's counting?
