I have actually been studying fashion history for a long time now and something that has been evident throughout fashion history is the lack of bright colors and logos in economic downturns. I first heard about this concept last year and I was wondering if we were actually going to see this since it was continously being shown in the news that we were going into a recession. Sure enough, "Quiet Luxury" is here. As we get further away from being in an economic downturn, we will see a return of logos and bright colors.
I think the mindset of Quiet Luxury has always been around, my English grandmother, although she had modest means, always preferred to buy quality and classic pieces, and in the past people did buy much fewer clothes than we do today. Having been brought up around textiles, sewing and dressmaking myself, since my early twenties I have also preferred quality over quantity, occasionally buying from Reiss, but usually from Uniqlo, or John Lewis, M&S, and charity shops and vintage shops too.
yes, super agree with your grandmother's mindset of modest and quality classics ^^!! quite a lot of the time you can find some really great pieces from high street shops and some really great hidden gems from vintage! xx
A lot of folks seem to think that Quiet Luxury is about wearing clothes that are deliberately oversized, masculine, boxy, drab and ugly, all in the name of "timelessness", when in reality this is little more than just another "here today, gone tomorrow" fashion trend. It is too ugly to remain timeless.
ohhh, I do see a lot of the oversized clothing but I also think that not all are like that, there are some GORGEOUS pieces that are fitted, beautiful cuts and simple designs that can be found and added as a staple in the wardrobe :) xx
The baggy masculine looks had a moment in the 90s from grunge to power suits.I remember because I was a kid in the 90s ..now its back. Very ugly. Fited pieces mixed with loose pieces need to be done consciously or it looks like you stole your larger partners clothes.
I consider my entire aesthetic to be quiet luxury and the only oversized clothing I have are two vintage sweaters. Everything else is fitted and **tailored** Tailored clothing is always timeless.
For me personally it’s more important to buy clothes that are good quality. A lot of fast fashion tends to be made from plastics. I’d much prefer to pay more money for something that is 100% cotton than something that’s 10% cotton and 90% plastic. Fashion names / the “image” of luxury has nothing to do with it. A high brand can still sell plastic clothes. Always read the tags, compare pricing, then buy 👍
As much as I agree with this, polyester is not that bad. Full cotton garments are easier to wear out as it is weaker than polyester. In modern times we use the washing machine and dryer and it isn't as gentle as how the previous generations washed their clothing. Polyester also helps to reduce the fabric ability to wrinkles, it could retain color better and reduce the rate of shrinking during wash. However, full polyester is not breathable, could cause allergy and itchiness, and not environmentally friendly. So, I think a little of polyester wouldn't hurt
Yes ,a lot of luxury brands used acetate to create clothes so its important to watch labels. Also you can have one or two pieces but if everything is from plastic then a skin can be easily irritated. I live in Italy and sumners are supper hot and humid, my skin sensitive so all clothes from polyester can make my skin super itchy. I now dowsized clothes made from polyester to fewer that I love and want to wear. A little bit of plastic in cotton clothes actually a good sign because cotton is that fabric that will lose shape more easily so a bit of plastic is used as binding material for cotton to last longer. Natural fabric should always make more than 50 per cent of clothing. When you buy something also take a good look at stiches and seams. This year I noticed that some fast fashion brands now started to use more cotton and viscose in their collections. I bought linen and silk tops, dresses from second hand and they still look like new. I think now its more about intentional buying rather than trend.
there are different qualities of polyester. High end polyester really holds up and is easy to care for. Low grade polyester does not. On the flipside, there are some fashion houses like Aritzia that sell 100% merino wool sweaters or 100% silk slips, but the quality of those items are absolutely horrible despite such a high markup for the natural fibers.
I have found that even inexpensive clothes can continue looking "polished" if properly taken care of. Hand washing in ivory snow....rolled in a towel to partially dry ..hung or laid flat to dry and gentle iron or steam with a bit of sizing starch..A little time invested pays dividends...
Chanel has reduced their quality to substandard while also increasing prices with concomitant increased sales, because in the end their customers do not care about quality...they only want the logo to show off with.
Great video!! People that are truly wealthy want top quality items and at the same time don't want to look like walking billboards. They don't have the "Hey, look what I have!!!" mentality. To your point....they don't want to get mugged by people trying to sell products to those who can't afford it. Quiet luxury is quality-luxury in my opinion.
thank you! and yes, quality and comfort tends to be the bigger priority when buying their items. I do agree that the quality-luxury is a more accurate description than quiet luxury ^^
I think it's just a trend until the next "IT" bag comes along. Plus I believe it is a marketing strategy for people to buy these items. And that influencer are trying to push quiet luxury aesthetic, which is very expensive and might not fit everyone's real lifestyle. Princess Diana wore bags with logos and she made it elegant w/o being flashy or tacky...it all depend of how you style it. Just because you wear quiet luxury items does not make you "old money". The other day I was looking at the history of Bernard Arnault and all his kids are involved in their father's luxury business, and I noticed all of them wearing old money clothes no flashy logos....and it got me thinking (as a LV lover) why they were not wearing their own brand clothes or bags? The Arnault do not want to wear their brands but only want to sell it, interesting.
Why do chefs not eat their own foods? Why do dress makers not wear their own clothes? Why do actors not like to watch their own films? It has something to do with humility mixed with self consciousness. My father owns a tailoring business that is dated back to 1879 ...since his great great great grandfather...they have tailored suits for films. but my grandfather and my uncles prefer to wear brands, why? He told me he doesnt like it when people ask him where he got his suit, and he has to say "i am in the tailoring business"...it feels weird to him. I have been sewing since i was 11 , i wear my own clothes but slowly i am finding that i dont like to be asked this same question (where did you get your dress??)..it makes me feel awkward.
I agree with some things from fast fashion brands lasting a good long time. Just this week I was putting on a simple white work blouse from H&M. I must have bought it in 2018 or 2019. Still looks great.
Yes! H&M does great basics. I have several H&M pieces, including a nice quality trench coat, that have survived numerous declutters and still look good.
I think quiet luxury has less to do with brand than with the elimination of logos. My girlfriend can look more like a million dollars in a $200 Rodier cashmere sweater and some $100 Banana Republic pants than some influencer plastered in thousands of dollars of fendi/gucci/chanel logo'd stuff. The truth is that over a certain amount of the money, the law of diminishing return really kicks in when it comes to quality of material. I will say that certain things have more of an impact that others. We all know that men dress to impress women and so do women. My GF would say that 99% of women won't know what clothes you are wearing and won't know if the watches, heels, jewellery and sunglasses you are wearing are moderate or expensive (if there is no logo), but women do know quality when they see it or touch it. However there are things she does invest in to make her seem "richer" than she is, such as: 1. Purses, not the brand, but the look and quality. 2. A good tailor. 3. Grooming (skin and hair) 4. Posture 5. Attitude (less Karen-eque and more carefree and sophisticated) 6. Makeup (that it matches your complexion and your look). These will be of more importance than any logo will ever bring to the table. Kids and poor people care about logos.
this is such a good way of looking at quiet luxury and that quality can be seen and felt even if there is no logo! I soooo agree with the tailor too! and the overall way to compose yourself!
even expensive stuff can look cheap, it's the person wearing it but if they dress like a cliche, they shouldn't expect others to be bowled over with the 'originality' like.... are trousers and a jumper really a look? or just normal?
Money cannot buy class nor can it prevent you from looking cheap. My mother was never rich but everywhere she goes people think she is a celebrity and she buys all her clothes from nordstroms and does not wear labels. I love my mom though, she is an asian grace kelly, absolutely mesmerizing
My husbands dream to move back to the rural farm area where he grew up started my switch to quiet luxury. My Chanel’s feel a little silly in a place where most people buy their clothes at the local farm store. I love my luxury collection & will continue… but most of it gets worn when I travel to more contemporary locations.
Luxury and quality are not synonymous with wealth. I prefer the term quiet elegance which is much more encompassing. My mom, dad and grandparents were some of the most elegant people I’ve ever known, and this was achieved on very small clothing budgets. My grandmother used to say “A person should wear their clothes. Their clothes shouldn’t wear them”. I grew up where displaying a logo or how much something cost was considered distasteful or having poor manners.
People like to give the impression that "luxury" is defined by how costly something is, instead of actually how luxurious it actually is. This is the classis definition of one who knows the price of everything...and the value of nothing.
The funny thing is the guy in the video at the beginning is stating Chanel is within the top three of ultra premium luxury however around here I see an incredible amount of people with fakes that are super obvious and just a lot of people in lower class areas with “Chanel” bags.
No quiet luxury for me. Neverfull GM all the way in monogram canvass! I want a scandalous bag! A very obnoxious, vulgar, shameful, defamatory, annoying bag! 😆
I feel like Quiet Luxury has always been my go-to choice of fashion since like 2010. For one, it’s not as presumptuous and I like being a bit discreet as to not be targeted for “wealth”. I have always liked luxury brands though. But alot of these designer brands with logo patterns and logo stamps on the shirt look cheap. Esp since there’s so many knock offs with these exact same logos.
'Quiet' luxury or 'legacy' luxury has been around for centuries. It's only becoming mainstream now after some famous designers switched to poorer quality materials and increased their price tags so their items resemble something from H&M. Quiet luxury depends on customers who pay for quality. I am afraid soon these brands will follow suit in reducing their quality but it will give birth to the new generation of quiet luxury brands.
Omg I have the exact same monkey skirt from H&M, it was one of my first purchases when I moved to the UK! I think it was a 2017 release, so yes it’s about 6 years old this year 😅 “fast fashion” can last a really long time, you just have to be selective and take care of your clothes!
this monkey skirt is sooooo good! i feel at best every time i wear long skirts like this and its so flattering!! :D wow cant believe its been 6 years already!! time flies!
I also wonder if like, people who are actually super rich tend to have less flashy clothes because for them retail therapy is buying however many new private jets and mansions and luxury vacations. Like buying designer clothes is almost like aww that's cute you think an LV bag is expensive.
Logos make you into a walking billboard. I'm not going to advertise for a company that doesn't pay me. So many people who just got money want to flaunt it. However I've noticed the truely wealthy I've come across don't flash it and they have great taste and buy things to last. I'm a firm believer of timeless looks to love for a long time. It's more sustainable in the long run ,houses cars clothes etc . Good design never fades. And I personally can't wait to get my hands on more houses and make them look luxurious.
I heard that throughout history depending on the economy high heels either become taller or shorter after recessions. After the 2008 crash you saw the trend of wedges
Sounds like Quiet Luxury is just a rebranding of Time Capsule Wardrobes. It's the same idea where you focus on quality versus quantity but in a minimalistic way. The only difference is that it there is an emphasis on buying name brand luxury clothes without the logos stapled everywhere.
I've always been a quality shopper. I can't stand how cheaply made things feel. Besides, classics don't go out of style. If something is really trendy and cute, that's the time for fast fashion, but even then, I avoid things that are cheap looking, it's not flattering in the least.
i used to do the same too! especially when you do want to join in the fun with fashion trends every now and then! and then you always have the classics you go back to every time ^^
Soo agree with you! One of my fave staple piece in my wardrobe are from fast fashion like my fave blazer is from Topman which i got from a thrift store in 2014. I always look for higher lux material count like wool or cashmere.
To be honest most people in the world do not know that there are actually categories for luxury standards. I only found this out after subscribing to your channel and binge watching your videos. Hehehe...
I always look fot cost per wear. If it's really trendy or I know I won't wear much, I'll get a knock off or find a deal. If it's something I plan on wearing 5, 10, or 20 years, I'll spend the coin to get the quality. I've never been one for logos.
Dressing well is about understanding your style. Where do you go? What is the weather like? Have you made an effort? Classics can be very useful, as you mentioned. You do not have to buy the latest. Thank you for your presentation. New subscriber.
In the olden days, luxury goes hand in hand with quality. What makes a luxury brand luxury is its offer of long lasting quality, design and use of materials that being put into thought and made to last, the brand itself is a representation of the quality that you are investing but at this current era, that's not the case any more, some of the luxury brands are just literary "luxury" brands that produce fast fashion items with enormous brand logos for the cash grab and to reach more consumers at lower tier, priced in such a way that it's expensive but still attainable for the working class that are looking to impress and willing to pay with credit cards (Aka: Poor trying to look rich by paying with debts), which ironically make LVMH CEO, Bernard Arnault the richest man in the world.
so true! when i look at my mums vintage pieces, they look amazing and do stand the test of time! now, luxury doesnt seem to hold up like they used to and do give an expensive fast fashion feel for sure!
@@HauChic i had a very disappointing experience with my very first luxury leather wallet from Prada that only lasted for about 5 years and began to fall apart into my 2 years of usage while a very affordable hand made leather wallet i got from Japan still holding up very well and aging beautifully. It is a very valuable lesson for me many years ago as an amateur consumer 😅
There is a place for both fast fashion and quiet luxury. I like to use cheap clothes to experiment with, to find what works for me, without wasting a lot of money. Once I am sure of my own style, then I would buy more expensive items. Fast fashion is typically best for the young, and quiet luxury for the older ladies.
Quiet luxury can be elitist. Went shopping today and I spotted an Hermes Constance, a Chanel small and a WOC, LVs( vintage and new), I carry my Speedy 30B DE myself and it was nice to see women rocking their lux. They didn't look flashy or poor trying to be rich. They look chic, put all together and just enjoying a nice sunny San Antonio afternoon. To those that want to look like Gwyneth Paltrow and the Olsen Sisters, you do you.
I will say the concept of luxury is a measure of diminishing returns. My GF says that the quality of $1000 sweater isn't ofthen that much better than a $200 sweater. She will always trust her tailor way more than a brand label.
@@casualsuede can be very true! for me also, I do find that the mid range brands actually hold the best value for quality items compared to the high luxury brands!
I typically wear a Rolex. Not because of the brand, but just because it’s a durable, dependable watch that also has sentimental attachments for me. Lately, I’ve been feeling like the brand sends off the wrong message. I shouldn’t worry what others think. But it still plays with your head.
For me, quality fabrics/materials; a quiet/understated classic style; good fit and staying within my color palette (mostly) are my wardrobe parameters. I think a lot of this is in reaction to the dissatisfaction we felt with our enormous wardrobes of cheap, trendy fast-fashion clothes, as I had, as do millions of other women (and men). I’m 63, I’m sick of buying new trends constantly because some color or detail is in, or out, of style. It’s brands that drive trends, and very deliberately, to keep the sales of their crappy polyester clothes as high as possible.
I don’t necessarily think it’s a rise, it’s always been the case for the wealthy, it’s why LV have their custom order only service which most people don’t even get access to, and it isn’t advertised either, it’s for the wealthy who want quiet luxury.
thank you so much ^^ its actually from YesStyle, I did a campaign with them a while back and I put all the links in the description from this video: ua-cam.com/video/o_H1LqyWVOA/v-deo.html
This is wrong. There are other luxury brands for the old money other than chanel. French have the most luxurious brands, but regular people don't hear about them...
Quiet luxury is just a return to the 1950s where clothing was effortlessly classy and endlessly elegant, pastels was a thing and people did not like loud crass fashion. Anna bey is a queen, her style isnt necessarily "loud"...that yellow dress is not a bright yellow but a mellow yellow. More like confidence instead of loud.
I like to give Automive Paints cheeky names. Comuter Blue, First Wife Bronze, and my Favourite: More Money Than God Grey. and IYKYK almost Luminecent deep grey. this effect is a Tripplr paint process and when applied to say a mid size luxury vehicle the cost of the paint alone is equal to that of a mass produced car. great vidi 😎☕💋
Most of these brands are extremely overpriced because they know that really all the customers care about is being able to show off the logo; the quality is generally not important.
i just hope the quality doesnt decline any further >< that would be super upsetting to see as quite a lot of these brands have super nice historic stories and brand core values!
Love my Anine Bing Sweatshirts! I wear them super often and for me the value of Money is there for me! The cost per wear are probably down to below 1 Euro! 😅
Yeah. Once you have every influencer telling you which bags that SCREAM quiet luxury and that you should own to look like you’re from old money, you should be pretty safe sporting your classic monogram LV Alma again without worrying about it being loud and be proud as you had purchased it with your “ new money” aka Your hard earned money instead of hand-down money.
These "timeless" fugly wide/baggy "elephant" pants are going to go out of fashion once every women has a whole wardrobe full of them, and then on to the next silly fashion mania to sell more clothes with planned obsolescence built into them. Women just cannot seem to resist the game.
I notice that those who cannot wear expensive clothing, but may like to, get a feeling or shame…..it it’s not compassionate to derive joy from hurting others.❤
for sure! judgement comes in so easily when it comes to appearances or what you purchase or to what you wear! we do need some more compassion and less unnecessary name calling! great point xx
"Old money aesthetic" is not a thing. You have people like Trump and the Kardashians who came from rich families but are loud and flashy. Similarly, you have the tech CEOs who built their wealth but very much uninterested in fashion.
Anna B has learned the colours thar suit her very well, but honestly, she's never gotten the fit or cut or look quite right, though this has improved slightly recently.
I agree, I think she buys most of her clothes a little too small, they often don’t look elegant because they are straining here and there. The smallest size we can squeeze into often isn’t the most flattering. I prefer to buy the next size up if in-between sizes, then just take it in where needed. I don’t like her bright Zara trouser suits with the cropped flares, either, they are flashy and cheap-looking. But, I think she dresses better than most women in many respects.
@@kimberlyperrotis8962 Totally agree! That's been the major problem! Too small - looks so cheap. Plus she favoured a brand that was cut wrong on the shoulders and armholes for her body shape. And often bought tops where the lines on the neck and shoulder were unflattering. Someone like Audrey Hepburn is a good example of how to get fit right.
I do not like logos in any forms because I want to look good without people guessing where I have bought my clothes from. I want to look effortless and items with logo for me is the opposite.
It is not new.I remember in my early twenties,I couldn't afford a whole closet since I was an intern.I would go to expensive stores and wait for sales only to find myself wearing those clothes for years but it was basic stuff like a plain blazer or earthy toned shirt I could pair with anything...😂😂😂😂😂

thats a true point! it does follow the same waves on how the economy plays out! and when the economic downturn fades, colours come back in!
1930 after the huge crash they called it bedroom style .
Men's ties will get thinner as well. They are wider during good economic times.
Didn’t they just call it timeless and Old money like a few months ago? 💀

I do hope that luxury brands dont keep decreasing their quality >< it would be so sad to see!
IYKYK would be such a cool name for a luxury brand!
omg YES! Now that you point that out, it does sound so cool! xx
The best part is that people who don’t know will just think it’s one of those Amazon “alphabet soup” brands.
Like buying designer clothes is almost like aww that's cute you think an LV bag is expensive.
could be! I do wonder too! But I also do recon many of the rich are also still very cautious of their spending.
Isn't this just the way normal, well adjusted adults, who aren't affected by wacky trends, have always been dressing?
Super informal!! Loved this video
Thank you so much Liya!! ^^ xx
I heard that throughout history depending on the economy high heels either become taller or shorter after recessions. After the 2008 crash you saw the trend of wedges
ohhh true! remember when it was around 2015 and the super high christian louboutin heels were such a trend! and now? kitten heels and block low heels!
Buy what you love within your budget . It's about feeling good and not searching other people's approval .
Preach 🙌
Sounds like Quiet Luxury is just a rebranding of Time Capsule Wardrobes. It's the same idea where you focus on quality versus quantity but in a minimalistic way. The only difference is that it there is an emphasis on buying name brand luxury clothes without the logos stapled everywhere.
oh thats true! time capsule wardrobes! havent heard that in a while! great point! xx
I always look for higher lux material count like wool or cashmere.
when you find an item you love as a staple, sooo satisfying :D i havent heard from Topshop or Topman recently, are they still around?
I have garments from Zara and HM that are 10 years old and still in perfect, you can feel if it is good queality or not when you buy.
for sure! you can definitely find great quality if you really look for it ^^ xx
To be honest most people in the world do not know that there are actually categories for luxury standards. I only found this out after subscribing to your channel and binge watching your videos. Hehehe...
im glad you are enjoying the channel so far ^^ thank you for being part of the community :D xx
Nor do we care!
I would be happy if we could just get rid of the logos plastered all over the product, focus instead on quality and value for money.
I agree with the crime aspect and even family members seeing you as an atm in these hard times😂😂
I like the way Hau dresses, especially the miniskirts: very cute.
thank you ^^ my usual simple outfits that make me feel most confident :) that was always my key moto when choosing what to wear x
Fashion is supposed to be fun. Who cares if it's quiet or not.
💃
I always look fot cost per wear. If it's really trendy or I know I won't wear much, I'll get a knock off or find a deal. If it's something I plan on wearing 5, 10, or 20 years, I'll spend the coin to get the quality. I've never been one for logos.
I have this Skirt too 🥰 Zara & H&M have also Good pieces. Need just to search for the hidden jams ❤️
oooo the monkey skirt?! its the best :D definitely a hidden gem ^^ xx
Dressing well is about understanding your style. Where do you go? What is the weather like? Have you made an effort? Classics can be very useful, as you mentioned. You do not have to buy the latest. Thank you for your presentation. New subscriber.
understanding your style for sure, its all about the context ^^ thank you so much!! and welcome to the community! im glad you enjoyed xx
Your voice! I could listen to you all day ❤
thank you so much ^^ xx
Love this! When styling any piece, no matter how bold, logo or quiet, feeling comfortable and confidence always wears the best :D xx
@@casualsuede can be very true! for me also, I do find that the mid range brands actually hold the best value for quality items compared to the high luxury brands!
Affluent people always favoured quiet luxurious clothing and accessories.
This used to be called "old money".
I don’t necessarily think it’s a rise, it’s always been the case for the wealthy, it’s why LV have their custom order only service which most people don’t even get access to, and it isn’t advertised either, it’s for the wealthy who want quiet luxury.
great informative video! Where did you get your lemongrass high waist pleated skirt from?
thank you so much ^^ its actually from YesStyle, I did a campaign with them a while back and I put all the links in the description from this video: ua-cam.com/video/o_H1LqyWVOA/v-deo.html
Nothing says insecure like walking around sporting a big Logo
Quite luxury is to me Loro Piana, Zimmermann, Jil Sander,, Khaite
Team quiet luxury ❤
yasss 💖
This is wrong. There are other luxury brands for the old money other than chanel. French have the most luxurious brands, but regular people don't hear about them...
Quiet luxury is just a return to the 1950s where clothing was effortlessly classy and endlessly elegant, pastels was a thing and people did not like loud crass fashion. Anna bey is a queen, her style isnt necessarily "loud"...that yellow dress is not a bright yellow but a mellow yellow. More like confidence instead of loud.
yes! shes definitely bright in colour but it compliments her features so well! and her confidence level just makes it that much more elegant! xx
I don't think bright colors are bad. I think if they match someone's color palette it can look great and timeless
Omg yasss! I love this! Such a fun way to name paints!
Absolutely... Quiet and timeless for me ..
quiet and timeless just stands the test of time! ^^
Most of these brands are extremely overpriced because they know that really all the customers care about is being able to show off the logo; the quality is generally not important.
i just hope the quality doesnt decline any further >< that would be super upsetting to see as quite a lot of these brands have super nice historic stories and brand core values!
it's not difficult to describe: Not tacky.
Ur so true
I hope this muted color palette isn't just a trend that goes away. Bright colors look garish on my skin tone.
Then don't wear them.
@@emerybayblues I won't. But it's nice to be seen as "on trend" instead of "out of style" by the general public
This is def a temporary trend….but I’m with it, I’ll be here a while.
Love my Anine Bing Sweatshirts! I wear them super often and for me the value of Money is there for me! The cost per wear are probably down to below 1 Euro! 😅
only costs $1 per day 😉
How about fluffy cat luxury?👍😸
😂
Cat fur jacket
fluffy cat at home = PURE LUXURY :D 😸
Having British accent is definitely quiet luxury.
These "timeless" fugly wide/baggy "elephant" pants are going to go out of fashion once every women has a whole wardrobe full of them, and then on to the next silly fashion mania to sell more clothes with planned obsolescence built into them. Women just cannot seem to resist the game.
This is why we thrift :)❤
It’s a trend because people make it a trend.
It’s been around since forever but noone bats an eye because it is quite 🤷🏻♀️
I notice that those who cannot wear expensive clothing, but may like to, get a feeling or shame…..it it’s not compassionate to derive joy from hurting others.❤
for sure! judgement comes in so easily when it comes to appearances or what you purchase or to what you wear! we do need some more compassion and less unnecessary name calling! great point xx
Very nice voice
thank you so much xx
i dont think the real rich people call these luxury, they just call them clothes and stuff 😂
Great vid. Just found you.
thank you so much and welcome ^^ x
"Old money aesthetic" is not a thing. You have people like Trump and the Kardashians who came from rich families but are loud and flashy. Similarly, you have the tech CEOs who built their wealth but very much uninterested in fashion.
super true! its also just whether you care for the latest fashion or just simple clothes but last longer! :)
I'm not into logomania, because you tend to look like free publicity, and trust me, they're not to pay you any dime.
This is why I don't like logos . I'm not about to be a walking bilboard
Anna Wintour has amazing style and it’s not quiet lol. I look up to her style. It’s beautiful and elegant with pops of color.
true! love the pops of colour from Anna Wintour! :D
Oh no AB, please.
Love your skirt
thank you so much ^^ its from YesStyle x
Someone like Audrey Hepburn is a good example of how to get fit right.
when you wanna participate in quiet luxury. yet it becomes trendy and everyone knows it. so what's the point 💀
quiet luxury becomes not so quiet luxury ^^"
people with steal anything from anyone so thank you this
Wear what you wanna do what you want and who cares what people think
I do not like logos in any forms because I want to look good without people guessing where I have bought my clothes from. I want to look effortless and items with logo for me is the opposite.
According to quiet luxury ascetic my family has been doing this is for 100 years…kidding. This is a hilarious trend.
I’m definitely quiet luxury. I like nice things but don’t care for logos.
I prefer timeless very high quality products that impress me before others since I’m paying. My $60 wallet card holder is made of lizard skin
Hermes offers consumers plain white shopping bags in lieu of their bright orange shopping bags...give me the orange bag any day🤫😇
chanel is not quiet luxury. please.
Better to say Calm luxury 🤫
oooo thats a good name alternative! calm luxury, i love it! xx
I do love Brioni, especially their tailoring, but Loro Piano is so so so so boring ...it might be clothes, luxury and quiet but it's not fashion
Social media can be so brutal sometimes >< but yes! enjoy what you have and whatever you choose to buy xx
Lmao is it “quiet luxury” if everyone is talking about it? 👀
Lol. Everyone will soon know all the 'quiet luxury' brands and when you wear it, you're still advertising something. Quiet hypocritical.
Is quiet luxury having trout lips.
Rich people also spending a fortune to look blue collar
This is nothing new. And it's way overanalyzed these days. How ridiculous.
Hermes has no logo in their bags. It's like no one can guest that you are wearing hermes than those whose into Hermes 😅😅😅
Its all just matketing. Wear whatever you can afford.
Lot of big logo brands are quality.
Lot of supposed quiet luxury are bad quality made in taiwan .
that use to be called old money .. we don't care
I do not care for quiet Luxury just do you and miss anabea used other youtubers concent without asking persion I love your skirt
I love quite( luxury) that's why I look for dubes. Lol
Because it's not disposable
Well, it’s not quite anymore.
quiet gone loud ^^"
