Hey Joe, Yes! you can make your own samples using the same sampler application. As far as extra space for samples, the Nord stager 3 has about 20bm of free space shipped from the factory. However, I would suggest deleting some samples that you most likely won’t use, in order to make even MORE space to upload your own samples! You can always re-download Nord’s factory samples free from the website. Hope this helps!
@@joeb.masterkeyz Here is a link I found on Nord's website for the factory samples! Hope this helps! www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-libraries/product-libraries/stage-pianos/nord-stage-3/nord-stage-3-factory-sounds
SOOO much information and knowledge assumed by this video. I am a Nord novice, and this wasn't helpful. "I'm going to go ahead and open up logic..."...on what? The Nord? A separate laptop? Some other device? (can you tell I never used Logic??) "Now we are going to go to the Nord Sample editor..."...what? Is that a module on the keyboard? ANOTHER piece of external software, on another external device? True confessions, I went and spent an hour getting educated on the terms being used here (without context) just so i can understand your video...and in the end it still wasn't helpful. In all honesty, I'm just trying to find a way to purchase professionally created samples and get them into the keyboard. This not the video for that, despite the title.
Watching this...as I just aquired a NS2. Damn, Brother! That was amazing. Thank you!
Well done.
Awesome
Can I do this with a omnisphere patch?
How do you connect the Nord to your computer so the download works?
You can connect the Nord to a computer via the USB port on the back of the Keyboard.
I would assume this is possible with the Stage 3 as well? How many sounds in total can you be able to add as samples? (sorry I'm new to Nord)
