@@FitnessFinance4u Counting on it, keep up with the good job! P.S. In the meantime I've subscribed to Playbook and got a bad surprise: their technical issues are apparently worse than anticipated, the latest version of their app crashes at the launch on both my Android devices, making it impossible to use. I hope they fix it soon. EDIT - I got in touch with their service team and a few hours later they fixed it. Now this is very cool: hiccups happen when releasing the new version of a software, but being so reactive and quick is not common.
Hey mate thanks for the review! I'm using the playbook app too and you can actually swipe the screen onto the next exercise instead of clicking out of the video and then down into the next one. Great content, keep it up!
Update: Playbook got back to me and sent me a link to download their most recent updated app, and it solved the "line" issue I was having @ 7:19 in the video. Thank you Playbook!
I've had the app for a while, The bars are the top do work now on the supersets, also to go to the next exercise, you just need to slide your finger across the screen and it rotates to the next exercise. maybe that update happened after. your video :-). I haven't had any technical issues like mention below.
R...yes, funnily enough, right after I uploaded the video Playbook messaged me and had the issue fixed. Kudos to them. The app has improved a lot over the past year.
I am currently doing his Wonder Woman workout program. What do you think about all of the weeks being the same? Also, to get to the second part of a round, you just click the right side of the screen and it takes you there.
Amanda...I haven't checked out the Wonder Women workout, but it's interesting that you say all the weeks are the same. Do you mean that all the exercises are the same for the 4 weeks? A lot of the "At Home Sculpt" exercises are the same...the reps and sets change as well as how long you need to execute each exercise. I have to admit that even though that was the case, I did see changes in my body after just 4 weeks. I was definitely much stronger. My advice would be to take it through to the end and see what you think.
@@FitnessFinance4u Also I started using the app myself and I figured out one of the features you were complaining about. On the super set if you touch the screen on either the left or right side while it's playing the video, it will send you to the next or previous part of the super set
so the pros outway the cons. I saw Northman and it really inspired me to get in shape and i found his app. Doesn't cost much, just don't want to put money into a sham and from what i hear this isn't a money grab, it actually helps.
Say Cheese Alex...both Magnus and Playbook have really improved their app since this review, so a lot of the issues have been solved. I am still working out with the Magnus' routines and am a big fan. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Thanks John. I plan on doing some other fitness app reviews soon. Just finishing up my 2nd 4- week workout with the Magnus Method. I'll take a look at those ones.
Great reviews of Playbook and trainers. Please keep these coming! I have done many of Magnus's programs on Playbook and interested in learning more about other trainers. Maybe a series on 'at home', dumbbells only, etc. Your unbiased and honest review is much appreciated.
Oh also had the same remark about not hearing back, from Playbook about app feedback or Magnus. Btw you can switch between the workouts videos by swiping (take you to the next exercise set/circuit) or tap the lower part on either side of the screen (take you between exercises in that set/circuit)
Strange not here back right? It was a bit ridiculous. I did hear back from another trainer I used that I liked a lot too. More of a bodybuilder, but he was always got me answers. Video here. ua-cam.com/video/79qxGaIeASw/v-deo.html
I really enjoyed your review. I also prefer to work out alone like you said you do so I will most likely purchase it now that you have confirmed that this is how it is. Thank you so much! New sub :)
This is exactly the type of analysis I was looking for: straight to the point, fair, informative. Thank you. I'm subscribing.
Thanks for watching and subscribing Arturo! I'll keep 'em coming!

I learned from my first dip into fitness that it takes 4 weeks to you see a change in you, 8 for your family and 12 for the world
Nice!

Have you tried any of his celeb workouts?
No WOThrottle...just the "at home" workouts without weights. The celeb workouts look pretty good though, as I have browsed through them.
Can you cancel anytime ? can t find the info
