It is difficult to translate word for word. In short, Idy thought that the first time she fell in love with an actor who starred opposite her in a drama was Tony Leung CW in The Grand Canal. At that time, she reminded herself everyday that she was in love with Tony because it was the character designed in the drama.

相信很多fans都未必知道， 原來蓮妹在拍劇的時候，第一個＂愛上＂的對手不是華仔，而是偉仔。今次為大家節錄了蓮妹在2013年在電台節目雷霆881《1圈圈》接受DJ 梁泰來 訪問，當中談到《大運河》的部分，聽完後，大家可能想立刻重溫該劇。
Terry: 你有冇感覺 劉德華 係對你有啲愛意？
Idy: 冇，因為佢冇對我講，我唔知囉。
Terry: 咁你呢，會唔會演戲都會好投入...
Idy: 其實我拍咗咁耐劇呢，我喺邊度開始，知道自己係會比較投入，會真係要鍾意一個人呢，係《大運河》，同梁朝偉 拍嘅，咁我每一日都喺度諗，我係要好愛呢個人，因為套戲係講我好愛佢，咁嗰陣開始，我就要好投入好愛佢。
Terry: 咁你真係愛偉仔多過華仔？
Idy: 係，當時係咁

@@lobspc Yes it has been a total pleasant surprise that TVB streamed this series on YT. Made my summer rewatching it and discussing it with you all 😃! Fall is my favorite season. When the leaves start to turn in my neighborhood, I will rewatch the ep 15 dreamy falling leaves wine drinking scene to see if I survive it. I love Fall too and there's a few songs that I've been contemplating if any would fit another GC video. I always wish for extreme weather for a couple stories in GC like when SL rescused LL from Dragon boat to be married off to Turk prince 😅

It's hard NOT to love someone when you have so many scenes with them over 60 episodes... GC had more scenes and story than ROCH
