Hi Alex, Thank you for sharing your expertise and skills with the electronics community. I am looking for some help, I am an electronics engineer and have been for some 30 years working from mobile phones to thermal imaging cameras. I own a Mercedes W176 which has an NTG5*1 comand system which has now stopped working, I have diagnosed it down to there being no fibre output from the Tx/Rx on CN801. The main board powers on ok and draws roughly 400mA, checking with a thermal camera there are no hot spots/components, checked all caps ESR and they are fine. Any help or advise you can offer would be very much appreciated Regard Jamie.
Do yo have any experience fixing INTERMITENT power ON/OFF no sound? It turns on showing the loco, then in a split of a second audio can be heard to finally turn off by itself... and repeats over and over... Any tip? Thanks
