@@Hannicarose : *Hi there!* i went to 3 thrift stores and i got a small white ceramic sugar and creamer set, 2 children's books for my little nina and nino neighbors, a small bisque baby robin figurine (i love robins), a small jar candle that smells like fresh baked cinnamon or caramel sweet rolls, and a cute toy called a "Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Babble & Wobble Hub, interactive pretend hub toy with music, lights and learning content." they cost about $50 new, but i paid $3.99 minus 10% for me being old (hahaha!). it is just like brand new, and it even came with working batteries! i may give it to nina and nino for easter. oh! and yesterday the little nina and nino knocked on my door and gave me a pretty rose and a small heart-shaped box of chocolates! mom looked on with a big smile on her face and the kids were all smiley, kind of shy, and sooo cute! my daughter mailed me a Popeyes restaurant gift certificate! *take care my friend!*

Hello again from Australia. Jessica, I'm so pleased you purchased the music box. I lived in Japan for 17 years and when I go thrifting my eyes are always drawn to the objects that are made in Japan. I'm not sure if the silver coloured plates with the relief patterns were aluminium. I use aluminium items to make jewellery. It is very easy to cut and frequently already has a pattern. Old anodised aluminium lids can be even cut with good scissors and a design engraved on them.

Hey there, I don't think I've seen a snowflake in over 2 years. 😧🚫❄️ We enjoy random weeks in the '70s midwinter here in the south. It was 65 here yesterday. I will occasionally put one of those pads down for peanut if I'm going to be gone for more than 8 hours. She's usually a good girl and never uses them. They work great as a pig cage liner. 👍
I just read an article in Consumer Reports about plastics. So disheartening. Even organic lettuce comes in plastic. I’ve been using glass whenever I can. That’s a long-winded way of saying I love Peanut’s new treat jar !! I also have the Atomic Habits book, but I do believe I’m a lost cause! 😂🎉🐾
Peanut sweetie I agree with you, not a big fan of the dancing panda. But you did get a very nice glass jar to keep your treats nice and fresh. I have never seen those types of pee pads.
