In black colour new polo definitely get character and elegance! Looks way better than in silver and other colours.
Normal Polo ohne viel Bling Bling. Klasse Auswahl Testdrivefreak. Super Format ohne Nervmucke und Blabla Testervisage ständig im Bild! Nur für 6. Gang ist VW zu knauserig !

how is the car. how quiet,comfort, tech, what are the pros and cons so far?
@@azuris221 I'm a bit late but I think this is a good time to answer your comment.
The car is quite good I should say. It is fairly quiet for it's class, if not the best.. You don't really have to speak up when having a conversation whilst driving on the highway so that's very good, also the engine is nice and smooth when you are cruising. It's only when you rev it hard that it is a bit rough ofcourse.
Comfort is okay, but I do have slight regrets getting 17" wheels on it because that makes the ride a bit harsher but not too bad either. I think it would be very good otherwise! It's nice and roomy inside too.
Pros: Quiet, very low fuel consumption, easy to drive, nice to look at.
Cons: A bit of a harsher ride because of the 17" alloys. Also, over bumps I do get rattles from the b pillar and some other place I can't really tell. That started after 6 months.
If you are still considering this car I would say get the standard 15" wheels if you want the best comfort this car can offer. Other than that there isn't much that should go wrong really!

Thanks for the video. It gave me a good insight. And I love that there is no flashy talking in the video, just te car and the things you need to make a choice. I am thinking about this motor because it is 2000 euro cheaper than the TSI model. I also see that the comfortline model is equipped enough...
why need a golf when a polo is almost as big and as practical but cheaper

If my hearing isn't playing tricks with me, I think I hear the clutch pedal squeaking a lot😕 [12:55] . Or is that just you having wet shoes on?
+VW-GROUP LOVER it was clutch pedal, it was so annoying, i was in 1hour traffic jam and it was so annoying
TEST DRIVE FREAK yes I believe that's pretty annoying. I'm beginning to think that the quality of VW brand cars is going down quit rapidly. I own a Polo 6R and I'm not really satisfied with it's reliability. VW's from the early 2000's were much better quality products.
Omg flywheel broke on 7 years car unblievable one of most pricey part of a car but ı heard from different ppl too like they burn flywheel of a 0 polo in 6 months.
Knowing many mechanics who work in VW services, I can tell you that VW last 8 years or even longer, produces garbage. They are overpriced, unjustifiably keep the price as used, very unreliable. Golf 5 was last made to last long, all this after that is very bad.

No. I own a 2001 Lupo and it´s the same piece of crap in terms of long term reliability. The electric windows broke 2 times on this car. The second time i repaired it myself and saw why they break. It´s cheap plastic clips that hold the weight of the window and - of course - break after some time. The engine on the Lupo has massive knocking (all those 1.0 and 1.4 of this age have it). The clutch is very stiff and squeaks, too. The spark cables break every 50.000km. The seats are squeaking. The airbag steering ring makes noises while steering. It loses cooling water (however not much) and nobody knows why. I think it´s head gasket. Fuelpump broke. One lock is worn out and hangs.
At least, the engine has not frozen to death yet, which is quite common on those engines.
VAG long term reliability is crap since about 15 - 20 years. Look at the gasoline engines on Golf 4.
1.4 -> freezes
1.6 -> gearbox rivets break
1.8 -> OK
2.0 -> oil consumption due to piston rings wear out
2.3 VR5 -> timing chain problems (tradition on Volkswagens)
2.8 VR6 -> timing chain problems ...
It´s ridicolous. In those times at least the diesel engines were okay. The 1.9 TDI without PD were great. Today even the Diesel engines are crap (on almost every 1.6 CR the AGR broke).
My next car will be a Mazda with one of those high compression gasoline engines. VW simply is junk in nice looking package.

@@jiiova1 For city and travels is fine and comfy , but is not fast and you have to downshift often before overtaking or to recover speed , max speed is around 178-180. The only cons is that have no turbo , but the engine sound is nice and you have to drive it easy . It’s a nice car if you don’t surpass 120-130 it won’t drink too much.

Ich bekomme im März meinen Führerschein, habe auch schon sehr viel Geld gespart! Ich möchte auch gerne den neuen Polo....meine Frage, reichen 65 ps für fast 80 Autobahnkilometer am Tag ?? Denn 65 ps hören sich schon wenig an!!
Ich fahre die 75PS Version von diesem Motor in einem Seat Ibiza, für "normale" Fahrten reicht er völlig aus, hat sehr wenig Verbrauch (im Schnitt 4,6L/100km) und ist sehr zuverlässig. Er geht relativ flott auf 80, danach braucht er aber ewig für jeden km/h mehr und man muss ihn auch immer hochdrehen da er unter 3000 absolut nicht vom Fleck kommt. Ich würde dir eher den 95PS TSI empfehlen, da sich dieser gefühlt wie ein Sportwagen im Vergleich anfühlt. Außerdem merkt man im Alltag keinen Unterschied zum 65PS Modell da der mit 75PS nur bei Drehzahlen um die 5-6000 mehr Leistung hat.

260 km/h is too much... Speedo must be 200 or 220 km/h for such of this slow car, with 0-100 time almost 15 seconds.
The Polo GTI will almost do that speed and it is the same car basically. They don't make different gauges for the same car just because the car has a different engine in it... I believe they do it to save money.
Finde die Halogen Lichter passen nicht .. und der neue Polo in der Farbe energetic orange sieht viel saftiger aus

Nice car, poor engine. It´s about time to replace the weak, restless running 1.0 natural aspirated engine against one with 4 cylinders and more size (1,6 litre, like in the 6N, would be appropritate). I think, the WLTP unstead the NEFZ will do it.
I have a similar engine in my Mitsubishi Space Star. It completely serves my needs. I do not want to pay more for things I do not need. Besides that, I can still get myself massive police fines for speeding with this engine if I wanted.

@@TheCrankshaftRotator But this engine creates low taxes and cheap to buy. If VW would put in a big engine with more CO2 per km.. the car itself would cost THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS euro's more. Is that worth it? Sales figures say: NO. So it means you are wrong and glad VW has not hired a stupid person like you who would just let VW go bankrupt with no sales. Correct?

Well, the Mitsubishi Mirage has a 3 cylinder engine with 1.0 liter too... 70 hp. And the fuel consumption at constant speeds is the same as the Polo. In normal use the Mirage is better thanks to far lower revs or CVT. I own the 1.2 liter version. It does everything a car has to do for very little money.
Ronald de Rooij Mirage weighs 20-25% lesser too! It's a size smaller and has better aerodynamics as well! No comparison whatsoever, it's more closer to VW Up!

@@cristiancostea1 Mazda reaches a even lower level of fuel consumption, with a 1,5 litre line - 4 (Mazda 2 G75).

Why? When I was young, cars had three gears and automatics sometimes two. Functioned perfectly. I don't see the added value of going from 5 to 6 gears unless you love to change gears. If you do my personal opinion is that that is weird. I drive automatic therefore (CVT)

I‘ve read this so much but let me tell you this, I own it and honestly it is fine. It is a city cruiser that occasionally goes on the Autobahn and it is totally fine. A Polo is not a race car after all

Some people just want to go from A to B warm and dry and not spend much money on it. I am such a person and I bought a car with a similar engine. I am completely satisfied with it, thank you. I can still get myself massive, massive police fines for speeding if I wanted.
