Thanks Matt for the highlights! The Wolverine game should be a game for a long time. I was born & raised in Ohio but I live in the West. Ohio is always in my heart ❤️
Hey Matt. Love your channel and it's always nice to see some love for the Scarlet and Gray. The Buckeyes represent what kind of people live in O-H-I-O which is tough, resilient and tenacious. They are not getting the love that they deserve but once we get passed the team up north the Championship is ours for the taking.
All that they needed to do was put Rossi in the backfield as a blocking fullback and run off tackle, quit running wide. Then Stroud at times must run when the field is wide open. Using Rossi is FOOTBALL 101. Day and the offensive coaches were clowns when they insisted throwing deep on a windy day. Day and the offensive coaches get a D- today.
I'm a Buckeye fan, but I can say, as an avid college football fan, the Buckeyes should be the #1 team in the country right now. They have survived every test thrown at them and passed them with strength and just wearing down their opponents. You don't see that with Georgia as much as you do with Ohio State.
I wholeheartedly agree with you Jason. The SEC gets all the attention and you have to respect them but I believe that the BIG10 and its teams represent toughness and hard nose football which the teams down south are not. Once the Buckeyes get pass the team up north I think the championship is ours.
The winds were insane, so we knew it’d be a defensive game and the defense played great, so can’t complain. Georgia struggled w Kent fucking State in great weather so I’m not gonna beat them up too much over a gritty W by 2 scores in shit weather on the road.
Ohio State's problems are a soft, finesse style offense. Teams are jamming the box with 8, sometimes 9 guys. However, on a day like yesterday, how is it that Day not once thought about putting Mitch Rossi in as a fullback, and him be the lead blocker for Miyan Williams? That equates the numbers in the box, and you can also move Stover in to block as well. Take Fleming off the field, as either he can't block, or doesn't want to, and add another TE and go jumbo. There's so many things Day could have done, that just seam easy from even a casual fan watching the game, but he just doesn't recognize it, which is completely mystifying for somebody who is supposed to be such a smart offensive mind. That game was crying out to be a run exclusive game. I don't know if it's pride, or arrogance, but Ryan Day just really seems to struggle to be able to make any kind of offensive adjustments in a quick fashion.
“I think I saw a leaf Paul.” LOL

Although it was ugly, a win is a win. Kind of reminds me of the ‘02 season. Thanks for the video sir.

Go buckeyes!
Love this channel. Keep this up!! Always a wonderful summary with a legendary voice
Great Job, OSU defense
There are no highlights. That game was a hard one to watch
Sometimes, the ugly, gutty wins have the most teachable moments.
