Come on what has ja done to be mentioned in the same breath as Luka and Jimmy. This was his first good year. Nearly got beat by the wolves and outplayed by ant and towns for much of the series and then was hurt when it really mattered against gsw. He hasn't proven anything yet let's give him time to prove something first.

@@graham5990 i would say Luka has earned that right getting top 5 MVP and first team all nba since his second year all three years and specially after last year leading a team with no stars to the west finals beating the number 1 team in the nba on the way. Specially his mindset is mj and Kobe like go back to game 5 when they lost and were facing elimination and booker was trash talking him like crazy. He said the legendary line everyone acts tough when they up while going back to the locker room in front of cameras and won both the elimination games to take out the suns. That is the kind of performance and story backing your talk that gets you in those conversations. Not to forget there is an almost identical clip of mj saying the same thing that it's easy to trash talk when you up. So yeah Luka is deserving of that in my opinion.

Im a die hard mavs fan so i watch Luka constantly and he is great no doubt about it, but he just got spanked by a warriors team who didnt even have their starting C in the line-up. I still say he has a lot to prove before being mentioned with the greats, but i do whole heartedly agree with him having the same "give me the ball and im getting this done" mentality that they all had. He still has a lot to learn and one of them will be you cant do this alone your going to need help so him having the ball in his hand for most of the shot clock for most of the posessions wont work ask harden and russ. The front office need to get him a true second star and he has to learn how to play better off ball and let someone take some of the weight off his shoulders.

I mean really... they are basically the same reg season player... The only difference is. Mitchell scores more in the PO... So why is anyone comparing Booker to anyone other then his peers... Scorers who can do a little bit of playmaking, but shouldnt be a 1st option on a Championship team. Someone like the mentioned Mitchell, or Lavine,, or hell... even SGA or J Brown. They are not as good at scoring as Booker, but they at least can play great defense... I have a thesis... had Booker never scored that 71 points ((in a loss I might ad), noone would overhype him that much.
Did everybody forget that CP3 went 14/14 and singlehandedly closed out the first series? He also dropped 20+ pts in game 1 and 2 of this series. He's old af it's unreasonable to expect him to drop 20 and 10 every single game.

I’m not saying Booker is trash as far as playing offense but if he can’t handle being double team because here’s the thing he forgets in basketball people are going to target at you regardless of how it is it’s just like any other game when you’re playing a pick up basketball game or a high school or college game the competitive seek get up higher in the NBA you just got a handle it so you can’t complain about it it’s how it is you see double team in football with receivers getting double teamed by a corner and safety every sport has a one player that the defense focus on the most oh worries the most like Stephen Curry every team gets defensive when he’s playing and for the record booker never said he was kobe because he can never be Kobe.
