Loved this MV. It's actually pretty funny; especially when JYP turns up on horseback in formal riding attire at the beach. Made me LOL. Loved the "competition" for the lady's affections. Too funny!
JYP was giving up on reaching the American audience, I think in an interview, he was saying that breaking into the US market might not be possible or atleast super hard, but then Gangnam Style went viral. Gangnam Style wasn't even PSY's best song imho, I like Right Now more.
This is the stuff that I would actually like from jyp. Also, rain and jyp really complement each other, like seriously, this is one of the most classic collabs ever.

@@DannieJulapz He said some really dumb shit on MySpace when he was a literal child, and maybe it's because JYPE wasn't prepared for a scandal quite so colossal at the time, but it could've been handled much better than it was. For JYP to childishly come out himself on more than one occasion and make up new shit just to turn the tides in his favor was really fucked up -- I remember at one point, he went on at length about how awful Jay's attitude had been from the jump, and how he acted as a mentor to this little hoodlum with a chip on his shoulder before going on about some new, non-MySpace related "unforgivable thing" he'd done, fueling all sorts of gross rumors about Jay. It was completely obvious that Jay's activities were being blocked when he signed with Sidus. I really wonder what kind of relationship/hopes he'd had for Jay within his company for him to throw a literal tantrum over him because of a social media faux pas when Nichkhun was involved in a DUI and suffers from perpetual foot-in-mouth syndrome. Obviously I was a pretty big fan of his at the time -- this is Pre-Fuckboy Jay we're talking with the cute little tattoos behind his ear and the sides shaved of course I was -- and I remember his interviews getting progressively fed up with being asked about 2PM. What really kills me is he seemed to think there'd be no reason for him and 2PM to be on bad terms and he found out through interviewers that they, for lack of a better word, were badmouthing him at press conferences/more or less repeating the same shit JYP was saying and was genuinely taken aback by it. Taec rather bluntly referred to him saying "the hip hop guy is not with us anymore," so to say there's a few feathers still ruffled at JYPE wouldn't be too far from the truth. Tbh all this is to say that the whole thing made me distrustful of JYP, especially since JYPE fans seem to be under the impression that he was the nicest CEO an idol could ask for as if his business methods were any less shady than SM or YG at the time. My own personal conspiracy theory is that he completely fabricated this "terrible thing" when terminating Jay's contract backfired and had everyone calling 2PM traitors and let rumor mills do the job for him then lied to the rest of 2PM about what really went down with Jay. In 2014, when he was promoting his song “So Good“, Jay Park was suspiciously dropped by music shows when going up against former group 2PM. In 2015 he released a diss track to JYP, accusing him of being jealous and immature, playing in only politics, and continually blocking him from appearing on broadcast. “My former teacher was afraid we might become the same, and he’s jealous now,” “You’re an entertainer that sells fans. Even if you block me, I’ll keep going forward,” and “What I do is music, what you do is politics”. “I was about to be cast by [2015 Infinity Challenge] Gayo Festival, yeah the old guy is still immature, childish childish, I’ve been enjoying freedom for five years.” Unless you believe all of these things were the most coincidental string of events ever. I honestly thought they all put this behind them by now, which is silly of me, because companies will remain petty forever.

@@DannieJulapz He said some really dumb shit on MySpace when he was a literal child, and maybe it's because JYPE wasn't prepared for a scandal quite so colossal at the time, but it could've been handled much better than it was. For JYP to childishly come out himself on more than one occasion and make up new shit just to turn the tides in his favor was really fucked up -- I remember at one point, he went on at length about how awful Jay's attitude had been from the jump, and how he acted as a mentor to this little hoodlum with a chip on his shoulder before going on about some new, non-MySpace related "unforgivable thing" he'd done, fueling all sorts of gross rumors about Jay. It was completely obvious that Jay's activities were being blocked when he signed with Sidus. I really wonder what kind of relationship/hopes he'd had for Jay within his company for him to throw a literal tantrum over him because of a social media faux pas when Nichkhun was involved in a DUI and suffers from perpetual foot-in-mouth syndrome.
Obviously I was a pretty big fan of his at the time -- this is Pre-Fuckboy Jay we're talking with the cute little tattoos behind his ear and the sides shaved of course I was -- and I remember his interviews getting progressively fed up with being asked about 2PM. What really kills me is he seemed to think there'd be no reason for him and 2PM to be on bad terms and he found out through interviewers that they, for lack of a better word, were badmouthing him at press conferences/more or less repeating the same shit JYP was saying and was genuinely taken aback by it. Taec rather bluntly referred to him saying "the hip hop guy is not with us anymore," so to say there's a few feathers still ruffled at JYPE wouldn't be too far from the truth. Tbh all this is to say that the whole thing made me distrustful of JYP, especially since JYPE fans seem to be under the impression that he was the nicest CEO an idol could ask for as if his business methods were any less shady than SM or YG at the time. My own personal conspiracy theory is that he completely fabricated this "terrible thing" when terminating Jay's contract backfired and had everyone calling 2PM traitors and let rumor mills do the job for him then lied to the rest of 2PM about what really went down with Jay. In 2014, when he was promoting his song “So Good“, Jay Park was suspiciously dropped by music shows when going up against former group 2PM. In 2015 he released a diss track to JYP, accusing him of being jealous and immature, playing in only politics, and continually blocking him from appearing on broadcast. “My former teacher was afraid we might become the same, and he’s jealous now,” “You’re an entertainer that sells fans. Even if you block me, I’ll keep going forward,” and “What I do is music, what you do is politics”. “I was about to be cast by [2015 Infinity Challenge] Gayo Festival, yeah the old guy is still immature, childish childish, I’ve been enjoying freedom for five years.” Unless you believe all of these things were the most coincidental string of events ever. I honestly thought they all put this behind them by now, which is silly of me, because companies will remain petty forever.
@Brandon he is incredibly good at creating powerful girl groups, but he cannot do the same with his boy groups. GOT7 really had a lot of potential, but it was the lack of identity that screwed them up.
