Having left the hollers of Kentucky 15 years ago, Raylan Givens now lives in Miami, a walking anachronism balancing his life as a U.S. Marshal and part-time father of a 15-year-old girl. His hair is grayer, his hat is dirtier, and the road in front of him is suddenly a lot shorter than the road behind. A chance encounter on a desolate Florida highway sends him to Detroit. There he crosses paths with Clement Mansell, aka The Oklahoma Wildman, a violent, sociopathic desperado who's already slipped through the fingers of Detroit's finest once and aims to do so again. Mansell's attorney, formidable Motor City native Carolyn Wilder, has every intention of representing her client, even as she finds herself caught between cop and criminal, with her own game afoot as well. These three characters set out on a collision course in classic Elmore Leonard fashion, to see who makes it out of the City Primeval alive.

I had NO idea there was Justified sequel! Really feels cool they brought back the character in an older, grimier cityscape.
It was a crossover between FIRE IN THE HOLE and CITY PRIMEVAL
you will hate it, WOKE destroys it like it destroyed the DEXTER reboot.

I haven't seen any of this television series at all (though I saw a lot of the original "Justified"). And, this scene is perfect, and classic Raylan.
Riding in the trunk seems to be a "thing."
2:14 it’s always these types of lawyers that are completely helpless and defenseless in similar situations. They talk a lot but if the shoe is on the other foot the victim mentality come out

I think that is the progression of his character... more mature and a little annoyed with the criminal world... he has these moments. Like all of us when someone talks about anger, lever, etc.
He's good. Let's just continue to follow this modern-day lawman!
Agreed. it's a work of fiction. The writers have the license to keep his character's grit at the same level it was in _Justiified_ . They choose not to for the sake of low-key, low-res wokeness. Bending the knee. And ruining a great character. . . same as they do with everything they touch.
He's an old man now, way older then he was in the first series. And he's more mature

Who did Aunjanue Ellis piss off that they kept dressing her in the worst outfits, all of which are ill-fitting and the worst material? She's suppose to be a wealthy and educated lawyer and ya'll got her dressed in Dress Barn's finest.
I agree completely! She is so beautiful and through the whole season, I kept thinking, what is going on with wardrobe here? What was the point? Also, the hairstyle they had for her was not attractive in my opinion. Very old fashion looking, just like the clothes

@werewolfofmandalore life is life... there is enough of everyone if one truly looks from a to z... meaning from marshals staff, ksp staff, people in streams, in restaurants, little nitch clubs (Boyden place & the BBQ joint in the holler), maybe a native american but somewhere there was a Native American statue. I believe they cover everyone. Besides that,when it comes back, there will be more covered in the series.
I absolutley HATED the teen-girl-daughter it was such a dumb side story and it kept distracting from they main show. Please DO NOT bring her back ever again.

This was terrible the original Justified was way better
I was so excited for the revival of Justified until it aired. As usual, the writers sucked out everything that made it great. And the obnoxious girl is unbearable to watch. I was only able to tolerate a handful of episodes, but by the second one I just started to fast forward as soon as she appeared.
Horrible re-boot. This one proved that WOKE ruins everything it touches; it even ruined the DEXTER reboot. On this one they gave him a love interest which of course was an older overweight black woman, had to be black or no production of the series, just like DexterII love interest had to be American Indian or no production, no funding (Diversity Equity & inclusion & screw the story) she was so heavy the love scenes she wore a t shirt, she looked like his mom. Totally unrealistic to the women Raylan always dated in his entire series. It was exactly when WOKE destroyed VIKINGS by introducing black female King Vikings (??). I mean it doesn't matter how good a production is you WOKE it up and you just absolutely destroy it.
