I replaced my 2021 cb650r stock exhaust with a full Akrapovic system (headers and muffler) and haven't experienced any popping or backfire at all. Like zero. Been 2,000 miles since the install and nothing. So I wouldn't concern myself with this, seems like a pointless gimmick for very negligible changes, if any. If this does anything for throttle response in 1st gear, under 25mph in stop and go traffic, then I might consider-- as the throttle is a tad snatchy/ catchy in such scenarios, but nothing terrible. Worth noting that I haven't added a piggyback tuner, haven't had it tuned, and it looks like we have the same exhaust, from what I see on your muffler.

Eliminates the popping sounds for aftermarket exhaust.
I am most probably missing something important, but why the hell would you ever want to get rid of pops bangs on deceleration? It sounds so good! Is it harming the engine or something? Sorry abouty ignorance btw, I just know I would never own a bikethat does not pop and bang when decel, that makes even slow riding fun.
I prefer non-popping sounds, kinda annoy me hearing it and for smooth deceleration without the pops.. but thats just me 😊

Better ipa wrap/foil na clear, di maiiwasan ang scratches.
Is that just a regular glass marble you used to block the hose? Wondering if it needs to be something super heat resistant or hard to melt.
Yes, i think any material will do just fine.

Arrrrggggghhhhh, just pop insulation tape over hard pipe, then replace hose, there is no pressure going through this hose, everyone looking for something to fit, it's just mental you don't see the logic
so electric tape will do ?

For me, no difference at all.
@@riscapade ok thanks bud, appreciate the reply. The guys on cb650r forums insist it improves the throttle response somehow in low revs. I didn't think this would make any difference and you just confirmed it.

are you sure ? it is suppose to help a bit with on/off throttle respons, not alot but it should help.

Does it shoot flames bro? I have seen a cb650r with pair valves block off plates, tuned ecu, full exhaust system and it was shooting hell lotta flames?

@@riscapade sir did you do a remaping ba sa motor mo or hangang ngayon wala pa rin. will it damage ba if nagpakabit ng akra kagaya nyan tapos d nag pa remap? thanks
Not yet, according ke akra its ok kahit hindi na pero much better if you will. Pag nagpalit nako ng aftermarket airfilter thats the time na i would consider a remap.

This is only applicable if you've changed your stock exhaust and gets annoyed from the popping sound in the exhaust at deceleration.
@@riscapade From the CB650 forums they say it improved on/off throttle respons a bit even without a custom exhaust

FFS, just take off flex hose, place insulation tape over metal pipe, replace hose n clip, all this bollox trying to find something that goes up inside 🙈

Sounds a lot more elegant if the goal is just to block air flow. Could even put a bit of gorilla duct tape over it and then retube it.
