I get where sam was coming from with his plays, but if buster blader was that annoying, he should have said what he was going to do up front and not pull out his counter plays in the middle of the duel. If adding cards to directly counter an annoying archtype is allowed, it should go both ways with xero complaints from either side.
Joey loses red eyes in Battle City to a rare hunter that uses exodia Yugi defeats that same rare hunter almost losing to exodia Joey goes to interrupt and till Yugi his strategy and the guy says not to Yugi wins and Joey gives him the red eyes.
@@HolyLance00 Same but Sam isnt very good in clearing that up. Seriously, this tourney should've been archetype and Yugi main deck only. However leaving the extra is free though.
Yugi not only has red eyes at some point, he has it in the very arc where he used buster blader twice and got its most iconic scenes (against strings and in the colleseum) and used red eyes against kaiba in the same duel he used dark paladin so it's not technically yugi accurate it's as accurate as it gets The 3rd and last use was in the pyramid of light movie
Seereax is correct, decks need to be doing one objective, like BLS spam Rituals and banish their own cards from the GY for advantage. Buster Blader locksdown dragons and controls the board by transforming monsters into dragons, it's all about representation. No one in the regular casual or meta format is running the Guarddragon Trap unless they're intentionally trying to stop a specific deck they know they're going to guarantee duel. Sam was malicious with this one. I think DM Yugi Staples should be fine as 1 ofs so the video is watchable. Yugi Staples are Sangan, Witch of the Black Forest, Pot of Greed, Graceful Charity, Dark Hole, MST, Monster Reborn, Swords of Revealing Light, Mirror Force, Spell-Binding Circle, Zero Gravity, and Magic Cylinder. I want to say Droplets was fine, but then again, Sam stated it was to counter Seereax with intent. Heavy Storm could be staple, correct me if I'm wrong. (played in Noah's filler arc) P.S. Raigeki is not a Yugi card, it was played by Joey mind controlled by Marik
None of the meta cards should be in here besides the yugi cards. If you have to fight a floodgate, fight the floodgate with your skills. I’m with Seereax on this.
Seereax, congrats on your gift. And I’m with you: this video should have been yours and you shouldn’t have tried to cook Sam too long. Sam, try defining your rules better so we don’t end up with modernized staple cards clouding these theme-centric videos. Lessons learned all around, boys. Keep the fun rolling.
I think the rules should be you can only play 1 offs that's not in archetype and whatever the deck is set as shouldn't be changed when the deck progresses which will make it less likely that either sam or seereax will play cards to counteract specific match ups. Buster blader should have won, and been put forward lol. Just should have had 1 offs of non archetype support which would have made it less consistent and more balanced. If the aim is to see which yugi's deck is the best then let's find out. Buster blader isn't the best deck because it is hella inconsistent on it's own and I'd say dark magician is way stronger and is probably going to win due to the level of support it has.
Bro Forbidden Droplet made the duel just not fun to watch I like what Seereax was doing with strictly cards that only help the deck and not for countering the other deck
Wait. I thought this week was supposed to be Silent vs Kuriboh? Also, should absolutely be the best version of the respective archetype (with the addition of Yugi/Yami cards only). Not just stacking it with staples to be relevant. At least that's how I understood the series would be.
Sam lowkey cheated :)) Bro abused board breaker staple and match up specific trap (guardragon catalysm) to win. And he knows exactly board breaker and that trap is the hard specific counter to searax deck. That is just low. He just pre side deck knowing what other person play. So to be fair, seereax should be able to use dbarrier, light mirror prison,.... which def ruin the fun lol. Its not a showcase anymore, simply just a pre side deck to cheese the win. Really dissapointed.
I get why Sam added droplet and the trap, especially from a content creator perspective. BUT I gotta agree with SeeReax that it kind of defeats the whole “which Yugi deck is better” narrative if what wins is not the archetype’s strategy but hate card staples only there to counter the opponent’s archetype. If it’s just a “who’s a better deck builder challenge” it’s fine, but that’s not what I think should be the focus. The better choice here would probably have just been to leave Blader out (even though I love seeing those cards). Happy they came to a resolution with a positive note for the weirdos that would turn it into tribe war in the comments lol
Deions biggest stretch was fusion deployment, Sam AT THE BEGINNING, so imma use dragon support, 2 forbidden droplets, 2 enemy controllers and then complain that he bricked when half of his hand is the staples HE ADDED
Id say Seereax won this one. Sam broke the rules by adding cards that neither supported his archetype and cards that Yugi never used like Forbidden Droplet, and Raigeki. Then he added a card that specifically countered Seereax’s deck even though it doesn’t support Sam’s deck and Yugi never used it. The purpose of these duels is to pit each of Yugi’s archetype and see which one is better. Adding in extra cards that neither support the archetype and that Yugi never used ruins the whole point of the tournament.
1:10:24 nahhh sam’s face i’m dead, bro knew deion had him on the ropes with that one. real talk tho at the end of the day i feel like we’re all here for the dynamic between you two over the rules, so as long as you guys are having fun that’s what really matters.
I personally would’ve had more of an issue with trade in being so abundant when graceful and pot are available. Although BLS kinda needs that draw power, it’s so slow.
Honestly, I love this episode because of the constructive discussion they were arguing. It shows a realistic and caring friendship they have between them.
There is an idea for a series that I would really like to watch. The name of the series is 'what if' Two wheels, both having the original characters from Yu-Gi-Oh, and the point of them is to combine one deck with a different one and see how this will work. For example, if a wheel get gets Kaiba and the other gets Joey. Then what cards could Kaiba uses from Joey's deck into his own to overcome his opponent. I think this could make a very strong series.
"If in the next duel against Kuriboh i use something that negates effects of level 1 monsters?" "that's cheating" "So what you did is the same right?" Your honor, there's no need to explain more
Bro really asking how Yugi would out a lock 💀💀💀 Mystic Box, Mirror Force, Soul Taker, Change of Heart, Fissure. Just research your character decks better man.
sam is straight up trolling at this point lmao 😂 he even miss the point where they suppose to duel with their own character's deck and see which one is better, not making things equally better
Sorry Sam. I’m on seereax’s side on this argument. This is suppose to be a pure archetype deck tournament with limited staple cards according to the rules. Adding cards like forbidden droplet and that trap card, both of which are not archetype cards and focused primarily against that opponent’s proper deck breaks the whole purpose of this tournament, which is to find out which of yugi’s archetype decks is the best.
I feel bad for Seereax. Sam overly cheated. The fact that he played cards to counter Seereax's archetype just ruins the vibe and purpose of this tournament. The video was entertaining at the start but the cheating ruined it for me :(
Joey going "YA... keep my Red Eyes, after all you won it back fair n square and it'll be like there will always be a part of me with you then" frenship mumbo jumbo, happens pretty early in Duell City if remember right, after the duell against the 'max number exodia' dude
It might be better if you had pre-made decks that have gone through testing to make them balanced. It will take more time but the experience might be better in the end. Maybe limit cards in the archetype that is too broken.
I love these two - can go into a full fight and it means nothing. Nothing but love there. Comments will only talk about the cheating side, and not about the fact that they agreed near the end
If Sam does the droplet(meta card) then Seereax is justified to go with 3 maxx c,3 ash blossom,3 imperms,3 pot of greeds,3 gracefulls and all out meta support Come on Sam,you're better than that, for now unanimously comments voted L for you for all the matches you had it in your deck in this episode, like i dont care alot right now but at least keep yourself consistent or let Seereax play Yugi's Exodia deck but with FTK support
Sam: Alr guys we got decks to see which is better for Yugi Also Sam : Adds cards and takes them out so he can win after loosing once (bro is the rock with his no loosing contract )
Seerax has a point and although sam has a point it doesnt justify using broken staples and anti opp cards Mayve if in deck building sam said "aight so his lock is too much, i have added imperm, veiler, gameciel etc. to stop it and will only use it FOR this lock But seereax even beats that point by pointing out that the format already has strong staples that can out it, specially DM era had that But at least itd make sense if sam didnt simply steam roll a 1 normal summon deck with one of the strongest staples, most of the time droplets was used was against comrbacks not the lock Also as a buster blader player i gotta say, you can use ut as much more than a floodgate and we even saw se of that with karma, and i rjink i couldve done better than seerax in the fair games (which he won all)
Sorry Sam but all in with Seereax on this one. @sam you could’ve run dark hole, Raigeki, change of heart, mirror force, ultimate offering, two-pronged attack, swords of revealing light and fissure.
What’s the point of setting rules for the series if he’s gonna keep breaking them? Also episode 175 of yugioh yami used graceful charity against Rafael.
Sam is like your average 5'2 guy that thinks he can dunk on the 6'4 guy at your local court. Just to have no hops, hit a layup, miss, fall to the ground and call foul untouched🤣
I don't think the main problem comes with droplet being too op in this format vs buster blader, which it is, but that it goes against the rules Sam set. Nightmare Phoenix is fine in both their extra decks because they agreed it would be fine beforehand, but they agreed to limit the main deck to cards Yugi played, or modern support for archetypes Yugi played. Cards like forbidden droplet go against the agreement, and doesn't let the opponent prepare in the same way that the person who broke the agreement did
The rules should state that you can put in cards that counter the opponent's deck provided they do not floodgate. It should also be noted that powerful counters like forbidden droplet can only be used against decks that floodgate, like buster blader. So Forbidden Droplet was fair game only against buster blader. Broken counters should only be used against stun lock decks.
I'm on Seereax's side on this one; if you're going to make a tournament where its Yugi's archetypes against one another, then those decks need to have cards that support those decks. Otherwise its just meta versus meta.

He also straight played the red eyes. It did the last attack of the duel to get Joey to 0
He also played Red-eyes again when he dueled kaiba in the semi finals.
Ngl we all know Seereax won this one lol. He gave Sam a win at the start (which was mega dumb) and Sam literally used Forbidden Droplet.
Rules need to sorta be made cause per Seereax's point...he could just play Ash Blossom and Maxx C and say "Oh its to make the deck stronger and to counter your deck."
Sam saying "Oh if i didnt use these cards i couldnt win." I mean...yah...thats the point of the series. To prove which archetype was better. Clearly Buster Blader was better in the end.
I am sorta glad they just agreed to be rid of it thougn cause yah...wouldnt of been entertaining. Sam and Seereax have such a wholesome friendship that they easily argued their points and came to and understanding. Plus Sam getting Seereax that fire large card. Keep making great, content you 2.
Wish all comments in this comment section were like this one lol
Buster Blader was clearly the better architype but i bet if Doto played it he would still lose somehow
Sam: my archetype sucks so I’m gonna play forbidden droplet
Seerax: anyways graceful charity
That card was mostly for trolling wasn't it?
Yugi did play graceful charity, though. I thought he didnt either so i looked it up. He played it exactly once
@@HolyLance00 I meant using banned cards Yugi used like pot of greed and Graceful. Not that I'm against it, it's just funny content.
@kakeru8683 Ok, apologies. I just wanted to make a case for a card like Graceful Charity. Cuz i do think that all the yugi cards should be allowed.
@@HolyLance00 Same but Sam isnt very good in clearing that up. Seriously, this tourney should've been archetype and Yugi main deck only. However leaving the extra is free though.
Yugi not only has red eyes at some point, he has it in the very arc where he used buster blader twice and got its most iconic scenes (against strings and in the colleseum) and used red eyes against kaiba in the same duel he used dark paladin so it's not technically yugi accurate it's as accurate as it gets
The 3rd and last use was in the pyramid of light movie
Sam: I’m just going to add graceful charity
Proceeds to add a bunch of counters including the card that was used at the end of
Seereax is correct, decks need to be doing one objective, like BLS spam Rituals and banish their own cards from the GY for advantage.
(played in Noah's filler arc)
P.S. Raigeki is not a Yugi card, it was played by Joey mind controlled by Marik
Technically Raigeki is Slifer's attack according to the card's alternate artwork in the OCG.
None of the meta cards should be in here besides the yugi cards. If you have to fight a floodgate, fight the floodgate with your skills. I’m with Seereax on this.
Why would anyone wanna be drake rn Sam wildin 😂
Nah fr somebody in the chat is quoting *DRAKE* these mfs are crazy😭
I think it was made before Drake was explicitly getting character assassinated
Seereax literally the only one understanding the assignment today and he payed for it with much frustration
Sam is genuinely the kid that always called 'INVINCIBLE SHIELD' while playing tag and then cries when everyone calls him out
I'm surprised Deion didn't play DNA surgery, it is absolutely necessary in locking down the opponent especially if you can't bring out buster dragon
Because Yugi never used that card, aside from the extra deck he wanted to make his deck as close to Yugi accurate as possible
@@devinb3538 Sam woulda played it if he was playing buster blader tho lol.
@@devinb3538Yugi never used Trap Trick though
@@devinb3538 yugi didn't use striker dragon and red eyes retrains either
@@0belisktheT Sam and Seereax agreed to use whatever for the extra deck and Yugi usee Red Eyes in Battle City
The battle between Yugi and the Pharaoh's strongest swordsmen
Silent swordsmen is yugi’s best swordsman
@@PhenomenalOne1000only when he’s lvl 8 or something like that :P
Arent bls and buster blader both yami's tho..
@@gtafan110010 yes, but Yugi also used buster blader the final episodes too a long with curse of dragon and summoned skull and the magnet warriors
No way Sam complaining about floodgate after what he did to rhyme.
Can't wait for Seeareax to slide a system down into his deck for the gadget matchup...
Find it funny when Sam starts winning, he talks a lot smack then Seereax comes and humbles him😂
When Sam wins he usually sympathizes with SeeReax, and finds ways for him to succeed. Let the truth talk not your dumb little peanut brain.
I hope Sam knows Drake got bodied. Wouldn't surprise me if he's a Drake Stan
Bro Forbidden Droplet made the duel just not fun to watch
I like what Seereax was doing with strictly cards that only help the deck and not for countering the other deck
Wait. I thought this week was supposed to be Silent vs Kuriboh?
Also, should absolutely be the best version of the respective archetype (with the addition of Yugi/Yami cards only). Not just stacking it with staples to be relevant. At least that's how I understood the series would be.
Sam: "Hey, this is a theme series"
Also Sam: "I'm going to counter your deck and cry like a baby when you call me out"
Sam saying are you really that salty? after cheating and crying for 40 minutes is peak sam things
Sam lowkey cheated :))
Bro abused board breaker staple and match up specific trap (guardragon catalysm) to win.
I think we can all agree at this point Deion is better than Sam like it’s not even close
That’s crazy. The cheating arc continues in this series too. I’m just going to make some popcorn. This should be good!
Yeah seereax is right on this one, same isn’t keeping in the spirit of the competition
Deions biggest stretch was fusion deployment, Sam AT THE BEGINNING, so imma use dragon support, 2 forbidden droplets, 2 enemy controllers and then complain that he bricked when half of his hand is the staples HE ADDED
And even then that was just to try and summon a card YUGI Actually played not some bullshit card like starving venom
I love both you guys man, love seeing your content together, always great laughs. 🔥🔥🔥
I personally would’ve had more of an issue with trade in being so abundant when graceful and pot are available. Although BLS kinda needs that draw power, it’s so slow.
Everyone cooking Sam in the comments is great 😂
Must be 3 weeks behind in the drake vs Kendrick beef with all the pipsqueak talk🤣
So yall finally decided to clash swords...poosea
Sam be like "how it feel to flood me" 🤔 ❓️ 😅
1:21:51 Sam: *Kevin Heart Style* “Help me… PLEASE”
😂😂😂😂😂
Sam took an L with the Drake & Kendrick reference
Honestly, I love this episode because of the constructive discussion they were arguing. It shows a realistic and caring friendship they have between them.
sam: it's not gonna be fun if we don't both get to play!
also sam: uses multiple copies of droplet so he can keep reax from playing
There is an idea for a series that I would really like to watch.
The name of the series is 'what if'
Two wheels, both having the original characters from Yu-Gi-Oh, and the point of them is to combine one deck with a different one and see how this will work.
For example, if a wheel get gets Kaiba and the other gets Joey.
Then what cards could Kaiba uses from Joey's deck into his own to overcome his opponent.
I think this could make a very strong series.
"If in the next duel against Kuriboh i use something that negates effects of level 1 monsters?"
"that's cheating"
"So what you did is the same right?"
Your honor, there's no need to explain more
Seereax singing puppet by thousand foot krutch really sent me back
If you want to play Buster Blader then you should add DNA Surgery for perma optime on him.
This why you add the spell card Reload to change up your hand. The other main character decks can mop the floor with Buster Blader
Bro really asking how Yugi would out a lock 💀💀💀
Mystic Box, Mirror Force, Soul Taker, Change of Heart, Fissure. Just research your character decks better man.
That Egyptian God Slime poster is actually Dope!. It was catching my eye the whole video.
BUSTER BLADER!!! I thought @SeeReax would have played one or maaaaybe two DNA
sam is straight up trolling at this point lmao 😂 he even miss the point where they suppose to duel with their own character's deck and see which one is better, not making things equally better
This bastard summoned swordsman and said super soldier sam be making my blood boil
The video was entertaining at the start but the cheating ruined it for me :(
Yeah abuses Seerax kindness to because Am forgets who owns this channel Seerax.
That's what Doto and Rhyme did in their series, and that was fun to watch.
I love these two - can go into a full fight and it means nothing. Nothing but love there. Comments will only talk about the cheating side, and not about the fact that they agreed near the end
If Sam does the droplet(meta card) then Seereax is justified to go with 3 maxx c,3 ash blossom,3 imperms,3 pot of greeds,3 gracefulls and all out meta support
Come on Sam,you're better than that, for now unanimously comments voted L for you for all the matches you had it in your deck in this episode, like i dont care alot right now but at least keep yourself consistent or let Seereax play Yugi's Exodia deck but with FTK support
Sam the type of dude to say "Let's spar!", and then shows up with a gun lol!
Facts
What's that not even 2 minutes in and already CHEATING?!?!?! I would've never have guessed it. :O
Sam: Alr guys we got decks to see which is better for Yugi
Also Sam : Adds cards and takes them out so he can win after loosing once (bro is the rock with his no loosing contract )
Seerax has a point and although sam has a point it doesnt justify using broken staples and anti opp cards
Mayve if in deck building sam said "aight so his lock is too much, i have added imperm, veiler, gameciel etc. to stop it and will only use it FOR this lock
But seereax even beats that point by pointing out that the format already has strong staples that can out it, specially DM era had that
But at least itd make sense if sam didnt simply steam roll a 1 normal summon deck with one of the strongest staples, most of the time droplets was used was against comrbacks not the lock
Also as a buster blader player i gotta say, you can use ut as much more than a floodgate and we even saw se of that with karma, and i rjink i couldve done better than seerax in the fair games (which he won all)
Sorry Sam but all in with Seereax on this one. @sam you could’ve run dark hole, Raigeki, change of heart, mirror force, ultimate offering, two-pronged attack, swords of revealing light and fissure.
Damn, this really did just turn into seereax's second channel lmao 🤣
There was nothing but pure anger behind this stare 1:11:01 I'm dead
What’s the point of setting rules for the series if he’s gonna keep breaking them? Also episode 175 of yugioh yami used graceful charity against Rafael.
I really love watching these 2, Seereax actually gets upset during these unlike in my favorite 3 idiot videos.
Sam is like your average 5'2 guy that thinks he can dunk on the 6'4 guy at your local court. Just to have no hops, hit a layup, miss, fall to the ground and call foul untouched🤣
Sam builds a deck in hopes of knowing what Seereax will play. A bit insane but alright.
Ok yeah this is just cheating on Sam’s part like holy……. Totally unfair.
Cool thumbnail, also I never realized how small buster blader’s head is.
Man
Sam the Cheater returns
Alas
Then he wonders why folks side with Reax
Sam cheated to the max lol I love this video but hate it at the same time. 😂😂
Cards like forbidden droplet go against the agreement, and doesn't let the opponent prepare in the same way that the person who broke the agreement did
Am:Cheated in this duel to I see explain as you much Am you can't win without cheating.
My two favorite monsters along with Silent Swordsman!!
