This... is the FIRST time I had ever seen one. I wish we could have caught the owner on the field. He taxied over an disappeared. Otherwise we would have had much more content to share on it. WE LOVE BIPLANES! :-) Thanks for watching!
I too enjoy the "Scratch Building." (When there is TIME). Life has many seasons. Some seasons grant your more TIME than others. This season...I'd rather build from a kit. Next season... maybe more time will be granted. :-) Thanks for showing up today and supporting! :-P
@Ralph Burlingame THANK YOU. I will link it in the description with credit there as well. Beautiful Aircraft. First time I had ever seen one a few weeks ago. Beautiful design. Thank You for your support.
Remove top wing, cover front seat and add a canopy and it looks very much like the speedster, the Hughes H-1 Racer, the great Howard Hughes established records in as well as crash landed. Very cool get.
It really looks good. The panel and the design are right out of the 1930s, a great time for flying by the seat of your pants. Flying was more of an art back then. Back when men were men, and so were the women. (JK, the women were lovely but bold as well.)
I love it..... its also the one end only biplane with metal control surfaces....
HAHAHA that's sooooo cool Bryan that will get him going
Don Watson is undoubtedly the consummate genius, craftsman, artist with vision on a whole different level.
Agreed! I hope to meet him in person one day. :-)
I have always loved the Meyers Aircraft. The 145 is my favourite
Mine's the 200.
First we have heard of it. Eye Catching! Certainly!
Al Meyers was a brilliant engineer and designer.

@@ExperimentalAircraftChannel To see my fav google Meyers 200. As a side note the 200 has never had an airframe AD.
I'm diggin the hard-drivin blues licks 😎
❤
Enjoyed the video Bryan. One of my favorite quotes...”it seemed like a good idea at the time.” Scratch builders, gotta love ‘em!

Beautiful, just beautiful. What is that sticker on the back seat wall. In the shape of Australia 🇦🇺. Amazing, it shows Tasmania, love it
Seeing a biplane is like seeing a vintage square sail boat. Unless it's a Pitts Special, then it's like seeing a sail powered racing catamaran.
Sweet! You had me though, thought "Frankenstein" was flying already. 🤣🤣🤣 That's what I get for not checking into the FB group in a while.
Not yet. I think we should start a GoFundMe so he can finish it faster! :-) Thanks for checking in!
Here is my full video of the Meyers OTW from which this video was taken: ua-cam.com/video/Z8zsfnUatIc/v-deo.html
