Ryno!! It’s cool seeing him tell stories about each player! And he hit the 87 Topps card 🤯🤯😁😁 Pack pulled 87 Topps, BY Ryno, signed On the spot!!! That is so cool!!
I have watched a few of these now with this era players, Ryno, Boggs, Ripken Jr. Mattingly... They all said they grew up getting the packs for the gum and the cards were kind of secondary. That was the 60s... They were tossing Nolan Ryan rookie cards in their bike spokes, lol.
1983 was the year I started collecting at 8 years old. Was at a deli in town with my mom looking in the candy aisle came across 83 Topps cello packs. Being a Yankees fan from birth saw a pack with Butch Wynager on top. Got mom to pay the 35 cents for it and was off to the races from there.
Not staged at all pulling their own cards. I don’t care. 1987 Topps was my first year building sets from wax packs. I used to mow lawns and immediately after payment drive down to buy packs when they were 30 cents a pack from WoolWorths
DAMN! Ryne Sandberg!👴 😳
We love you dude❗
I love it when they pull their own card. Ryne got a big kick out of pulling his.
When I tell you I loved the Cubbies back then...
Thanks for all the memories, Ryne. You are a legend.
My Idol. Love this guy. Best Second Baseman ever. Honored to be the 225th like

Yep and moms in the 50s threw out Mantle rookies. It's why those cards are so valuable.
What a nice video!!!!

Topps first did the wood grain borders on the 1962 set.

wood grain 87's were innovative? she never heard of '62?
Hey Ryne, could you not purposely ding the corners of the cards I send you to autograph? Thanks 😂.
She never asks anything like...by team or postition? Numbers or alphabet? Fav cards. Why cards are import. She just nods her head and gives ad libs
Sad to see him looking old.
Love this show.but. not the host sorry hun. Just don't match the vibe for me.

Bogus, I've watched 2 shows and each time the player got his own card. Set-up obviously by Topps.
they usually don't.
