Sounds terrible - but is that because the guitar is crap - or is it just that this guy can't play?
@PhilipPorter when guitar strings acoustic or electric sit too low to the fretboard sometime when u press them they buzz against the fret. just replaced a string on my fender and it does that while all the others dont. but at closer inspection it sits lower than the others

The pick-up just makes the guitar sound too thin and trebly...I like a little bit more Bass and mids in my Amplified acoustic.
Google "SoundCloud Daniel Weldon Hey Minor" (this is a song recorded completely with a Dimarzio Angel System) this is what it really sounds like!!! This guy wouldn't know a good acoustic sound if it hit him square in the ears!

One thing i dont like about acoustic pickups and electric acoustic guitars is that they sound too stringy.I like the sound of an acoustic guitar thats played in person all naturally, thats why I like micing an acoustic guitar because it brings out the warmth of the woods out that electric acoustic and acoustic pickups can't get.
@22FretsIsNotEnough Haha I agree about the fact that we can't expect a guitar to sound that amazing on a UA-cam video :P
Sounds like shit to me... Better use a mic. Dimarzio should stay producing ToneZone :* :* :* And other electric guitar pickups. This is my opinion.
I have a Dimarzio Reference. While the reference never sounded super acoustic, I honestly think the reference sounds much better compared to this. This is nice too, but I am not sure the logic behind making it go with a piezo (I think a sound board transducer would have made much more sense). I never liked the quack that piezo produced.
@AcousticBeaver Try it yourself. GW isn't exactly known for having quality sound in their demos..

@PhilipPorter That's the strings buzzing against the frets. They also do it if you hit the strings hard
