Anyone know where I can find the M1022A1 mobilizer for ISO comm shacks? Its ready to go for standard 20' containers. Is there such a device that will allow me to adapt the air brakes on the mobilizer to a hydraulic brake equipped truck ? Have an on board high volume compressor to supply air to the brakes on the mobilizer.
AAAAAHHHH! Flashbacks! M720s, 832's and 1077s! We never put one in the back of M35 for the reasons shown. They actually made a 407L pallet loader that one man could use to load a shelter in or out of a truck. User come along and lots of pulleys and was really scarey!
@@STRYKERPERRY - We never truck loaded them because of the acft height issue. They tow ok at hwy speed. You just have to make sure the brakes don't hang up and don't have an idiot driving!
Aren't the bottom rails on the shelter aluminum ? Did they just drag it across the concrete scrape off 1/4 "of metal ? If they lowered the rear dolly to the ground they could attach the front dolly wo using that farmer jack ?
I use the farm jack to level the dolly into the brackets before lifting. If it isn't level it will just push the one side away from the shelter as you try to lift it
Very interested video . Great job 👍

What's the deal with the guy in the black baseball cap ? Had he EVER done this before ? He endangered himself and everyone around him 3 times .
They were in the process of learning how the setup works.
How do work without gloves? Oh, because they are tough men, not too smart since there’s so many unnecessary injuries
Meanwhile you probably can’t fight your way out of a wet paper bag…

I seen the loading kit for these it's neat but lots of work
I only load it when I need to take it and haul another trailer
@@STRYKERPERRY - And dangerous as hell. The Air Force dd away with them by we had one that had slipped thru the turn in action.

I've towed mine on several 100-600 mile trips. It does wobble over 45mph have been trying to adjust things and modify things to fix this
Thank you. Now I understand what to do with the one I bought.
Awesome

Some of the shelters need to be on blocks in order for the dolly to reach the brackets. Also I had boards under the rails on mine

Will this system work on intermodal shipping containers. Or is it specific to US Army equipment?
They made an adapter to move 20' and shorter containers but they are hard to find
IIRC newer models of shelters are ISO standard and the current version of the mobilizer is ISO as well.
Where can I buy one
Check on Facebook on the military vehicle groups, or Craigslist. M720 or m840 shelter dolly, or govplanet.com or govdeals.com
