- I am not a Doctor, i am just sharing my experience of treating a 3rd Stage Bedsore. If you have any questions about Bedsores please ask in the comment sections.
Treatment steps:
1. Clean with Betadine.
2. Insert Small Gauze piece dipped in Betadine, in the Bed sore.
3. Cover with Soframycin.
4. Take sterilized gauze and layer it with Haldi Mustard oil Paste.
5. Place gauze over the Bed sore.
6. Secure with Tape.
7. Change dressing twice a day.

Hello ma'am. My mom is a bedridden patient and she has grade 3 bedsore. Will this haldi-oil mixture be useful to cure it? Also please tell me about how to store it. Do we have to make a fresh paste everyday or we can make a paste and store it for a week? Does it need refrigerator to store?
Yes, you can use haldi tel mixture on the bed sore. You can use this along with the medications prescribed by doctor as well.
We can make 2-3 days required mixture in one go and store at room temperature.
Bedsore wound is completed filled but not getting dry as it is in back near buttock and we can't lay the patient to stomach side as fitted with food pipe and tracheostomy and we have to daily dressing of the wound. If any advice/medicine/ointment for final recovery of wound .
You can try sleeping on sides. But Keep changing sides time to time. Also apply coconut oil regularly on sides. It helps keep skin soft and maintains its elasticity. Also helps in healing and repair work. Maintaining healthy skin and timely changing sides will help prevent further bedsore.
Hi ma'am. We don't have mustard oil here. Is there any other substitute besides mustard oil ? Thank you 🎉
We use mustard oil because it has anti bacteria and anti fungal properties. Helps treat wounds. I have not used any other oil. However, I feel you can try coconut oil. Coconut oil is good for skin and helps heal wounds. Hope this helps 🙂.

Hi Farheen.. you can take cotton, dip it in Betadine solution and clean the wound. Since we have good amount of oil in the haldi mixture, mostly it will not stick and come out easily along with the gauze itself. But any leftover haldi on wound can be cleaned easily using Betadine.

Hi.. yes you need to keep the haldi side on the bedsore. This is a desi nuskha and will help heal bedsore. At the same time you can also use any medication that doctor may have prescribe. But alone also this will work wonders. However besdore takes time to heal. Give it some time and slowly it will show improvement. Pls refer both my videos for tips that will help you. I hope it helps your father recover fast.

Please follow your doctor's advice. After cleaning with disinfectant, you can apply medicine and then gauze with Turmeric and oil as given in the video. This remedy will help the bedsore heal faster, stay dry and not get any infection. This is as per my experience.

Haldi and oil should be okay. This is a desi nuskha but you should always refer a doctor for any kind of medical help. Doctor can check how severe the problem is and can recommend best solution.

Hello Ankit.. gauze ke upar paste lagayein and fir usse wound pe rakhein. But use pehle wound ko halke hath se saaf kar lena chahiye. Agar bedsore body ke lower part pe hai jahan urine se geela hone ke chances hai to paste ki moti layer gauze pe lagayein taki wo pani aur wound ke beech ek protective layer ka kaam kare. Zakham saaf karne ke aap Betadine solution ka istemaal kar sakte hain. Ek baar doctor ko zaroor dikha lein. Ye gharelu upaye aap doctor ki medication ke sath bhi kiye ja sakte hain. Aap regularly ye nuskhein use karein. Jaldi hi aapko farak dikhega.
Instead of applying on the gauze then applying this on the wound, can't we directly apply this mixture on the sore? Pls reply my mother is having 2 grade sore in her inner thighs.
It will be difficult to apply directly on the wound. Better apply on gauze properly and then the gauze can be safely put on the wound. Also if the bed sore is in bad condition, doctor may prescribe you medication. You can use that medicine on wound and over that apply this gauze with haldi oil mixture.

Use air mattress and change sides frequently. Keep applying generous amount of coconut oil on skin.This will help reduce chance of further bedsores. For the current ones try using haldi oil as mentioned in the video. You can refer both my videos on this topic. But you need to consult a doctor who can meet the patient and see condition of the wound. Healing Bedsores is not an easy job. It is a very slow process and takes time. Do your best and keep faith in God. It shall heal.

Humne Air Mattress use kiya tha and uske results kafi achhe the. Air Mattress ki pockets mein air movement hoti rehti hai Jisse ki body ka weight ek portion pe zada der nahi rehta. Isse bed sore hone ke chances kafi kum ho jate hain. Humein doctor ne Air Mattress hi suggest kiya tha. Aap water bed bhi use kar sakte hain. Hello.. you can refer to both the videos that I have posted. You will get a lot of good tips which will help you. Try keeping bed sore area dry and clean. You should keep changing sides so that pressure is not on wound. If you ensure this, slowly the wound will start healing itself.

Hi Ambika. Yes you can use haldi tel mixture as described in the video. Healing a 3rd stage bed sore will take some time. Body will heal itself slowly. You just have to ensure that the would is kept dry and clean. Also body pressure should not be there on the wound for longer. So use air mattress and keep changing sides. Haanji.. bilkul aap use kar sakte ho. Haldi tel ki layer bedsore ke upar ek protective layer ka kaam karegi. Us jagah ko geela hone se bhi bachayegi. Ek baar doctor ko bhi dikha lein. Bedsore kis stage pe hai and usse kis level ki medical treatment chahiye wo bhi zaroori hai. Doctor ke treatment ke sath haldi and tel ka istemaal kar sakte hain.. isse bedsore jaldi theek hone mein madad milegi.

Hi sunny. Isse jalan nahi hogi. Par aap chaho to thode se area mein laga ke dekh sakte hain.

Hi Arkam, you can try the haldi oil paste as described in the video. Pls watch both my videos on this topic. I Hope it will be helpful to you. Cure current one but at the same time take all steps to ensure more does not happen. I have suggested some tips in my video. Bedsores take time to cure. You need keep hope and do as doctors prescribed. Keep faith in God and keep doing your best.

Turmeric powder and mustard oil , proportion 1:2 , heat mustard oil mix Turmeric powder into it slowly to make a paste . Apply on gauze after applying doctor's prescribed ointment . This shall allow the sore to heal faster . Apply twice , also change sides of the patient , give passive exercise too .
