I’ve been exploring the GTO for a few weeks now. The GTO is incredible and very dense. Thanks for the video, lot’s of ideas I need to explore now.

So happy you can operate the right side without having to use an external source or left side to cycle it like the SSG.

I love my SportModulator by Toppobrillo which gives me similar vibes ... I think has a bit smaller range and is worse at tracking 1v/o but it's more space efficient and also a lot cheaper ;)

Does the GTO not support a proper sawtooth wave. It sounds like getting the saw but loosing the proper volt per oct tracking???. Thanks

It's not it's intend and the original SSG does not even track 1v/oct at all so it's still an improvment on it. It should not thought as a VCO module, but as a module that can be a VCO (square or triangle with proper trakcing) amongst MANY othe things ;-)

This GTO is quite good but for about the same $$$ the XAOC Sofia analog VCO offers (IMO) a little more bang for the buck. At least on the limited information that I have been able to gather so far. As we all know there is sooooo many eurorack modules to choose from nonetheless I am a bit paralyzed by so many choices.

Well indeed the Sofia is going to be better at being a VCO, but I don’t think it can be anything else tho. It depend on how flexible you like to be.
