Fishing Planet #31 - S8 - Ocean Update: TROPHY Skipjack & UNIQUE Bigeye Tuna!

In this episode (Still the 3rd in-game day), I have decided to stay in the Tuna and Marlin Hotspot I had discovered to see if I can grind the tuna and possibly catch something new. I had also decided to try a new lure combination with includes a plug and and an octopus chain.
While trolling what I now call "The Tuna Highway", I hook into my first Skipjack Tuna... Trophy sized! Encouraged, I continue trolling when I notice a huge fish at the bottom of the ocean on the sonar. I decide to stop the boat and try bottom fishing in deep water for the first time. Using Jack Mackerel for bait, I manage to hook something absolutely huge! I also end up fighting him for about twenty minutes, only to bring in the largest fish I have caught in the game thus far; a UNIQUE Bigeye Tuna weighing in at 375+ pounds!
After catching the Bigeye, I had continued recording and lost footage of the longest fish fight I have had to date, even longer than the previous one. Unfortunately, I had lost the footage of me catching an even larger fish, a UNIQUE Striped Marlin weighing in at 414+ pounds! This monster ended up leveling me up to Level 65!

Yeah, he was a monster, but that Marlin was even bigger. He took it out to almost 600 feet more than twice. Twenty-five minutes of fighting! I could have cried when I reviewed the footage and screen was black!
This new saltwater fishing is definitely hyped up I can't wait till it comes out on the console but with that being said, with that being said I already noticed some BS as far as this game goes!!! You can have a fish at the surface of the water and then all of a sudden he gets a second wind and take you out 300 and something feet, after the cost of doing that 3 or 4 times you be ready to cut the line and start all over again and on top of that, you fight 15 to 20 minutes and then when you finally get the fish on the boat it's not even as big as the bull shark or the Nile perch!!! And on top of that if your fish travels to the opposite side of the boat you can't even walk around the boat to catch the fish you really need to fix this before it comes out on the console!!! ( Please I can't be the only one with a brain in my head)!!!!!!!!!!
I am not certain if any of the fish here are bigger than the Nile Perch or Bull Shark, but they are definitely contenders. I am hoping they add sharks to this soon! I do agree with you about needing to be able to wander around the boat. That is exactly what I would do in real life! (Well, now that I think about it, I might want to have myself tethered to something... just in case!)
