Really digging the Dwarven Mines set-reminds me of some Skyrim dungeons. That said, it’s hard to go wrong with Space Goblins, and I’d like to see more of them please!
I don’t know about total viewership, but you guys consistently provide us with quality reviews about products we would be interested in….if we only knew about them! A really valuable service! Keep on being you!
Definitely loving that Abomination Vaults set. As for future reviews, I'd love to see that kickstarter stretch goals box, because that Pheonix looks sweet!
I think that a fun idea for a video in the future could be a video showing off the mini collection in bulk make it a series maybe or you could show a set up of an encounter helping how to build a fun and engaging encounter for players
When the new sets come out from their fundraiser I would love to see those gone over! I’ve already backed, but I love your guys’ reviews and opinions. I base my mini reviews off of you both!
Using one of the kits to build a a room/area/scene from either a Pathfinder adventure path, or D&D campaign guide. For example using the royal castle to build a room/area from the Curse of Strad, or room from Abomination Vaults, or an area of the infernal region from Descent into the Abyss.
Thank you for another helpful overview, Theo and Grady! If I got to pick the next Dungeons & Lasers set for you to bust open and review, I would choose the sewers sets. I am interested to see how realistic the translucent water bits look up against the standard, opaque plastic floors and walls.
My idea for the d20 rolls would be for the d20 to determine a themed background for the reviews . My favorite terrain box was the Dwarven mine , you could even use the flooring for roads , a path , or a campsite.
I literally just got my package from their last kickstarter, and am already so excited to look at the new stuff coming out! The mine and the vault both look awesome, as well as the hills and trees in the current one. Can't wait to see what more they do in the future, even though my wallet would prefer not to haha
First off, earnest & informative nerdy content will *always* be good branding. That sincerity is distinctive, and we love you just the way you are. I'm sorry there's pressure to add a gimmick to that, though I appreciate the challenges of navigating a somewhat saturated online space. Second, re: D20 rolls... roll with advantage--gives you flexibility to choose something that's more in line with the vibes you're feeling at the time, or to make a super-combo. * Mr. Roger's-styled Get Ready With Me * Roll for Plush Kobold companion (watch out for the rogue's sneak attack--you'll never see it coming!) * Tell a story about a game-playing experience * Tell a story about a real-life experience (can be gaming-adjacent, like from a convention, or a painting experience, but doesn't have to be) * Shout out a spell, class feature, etc. that's fun or underused * Show off a mini or terrain painted by either of you (or a friend, if you're feeling shy) * Display an encounter--actual or theoretical--with minis and terrain * Goblin of the Day! What does that even mean...? I dunno, but it *feels* like a thing. * Stare silently in judgement at a gnoll as it stares back at you in silent judgement * A peek behind the scenes of a game, of game-prep, of encounter-building, of narrative-crafting, or of the production of a Gallant Goblin video * Odd "monster" jobs. Just a random thought about a D&D/Pathfinder/etc. creature in an unusual profession, be it a sci-fi career, a fantasy apprenticeship, or a modern job. Third, re: Dungeons & Lasers terrain, I'd love to see that Tudor Mansion room/set, painted or otherwise. While I love a weird, desolate dungeon of cosmic horrors, I love it even more when it's attached to an otherwise "normal" home.
Love the Abomination Vaults feel. Would love to see a review of the Lava Caverns or the Townsfolk Starter set. You could use a d20 to either the color of the Kobold that sits with you on the outro or perhaps create a build using multiple Dungeons & Lasers sets joined together at random - adding 1 new set at random at the end of each video.
Theo you are my go to guy for Role Playing miniatures. I wait for each review to see what is coming out and what I can add to my collection ! I would like to see the Townsfolk set because a big set like that would be great as there are not a lot of sets like that out on the market. Keep up the good work I think when I subscribed you only had about 7.2 k subscribers so you have almost tripled since then ! Hopefully more people will find this gem of a channel soon !
I’d love to see a review for the lava caverns and towns people minis! The towns people are so versatile, and I’d love to see how the clear plastic looks when it’s lit from below.
D20's 1. To paint a mini (glitter blue skin, purple gloves, orange hat) 2. Make an omelet, waffle, pancake 3. Drink while you review mini's. Coffee, tea, chi, hot chocolate. What goes in it oat, soy, milk, honey, sugar. Sorry for not Subscribing earlier, on it now. I appreciate your videos some of the best straight forward ones around. It helps me decide which sets to buy.
I backed the 3rd D&L KS and am currently waiting for it. There were a lot of cool things in that set. I’m sure you could make numerous videos reviewing the different sets.
Sheldon Cooper rolled a d20 in one episode to let the dice decide what he was going to eat, and everything he was going to do in his life. It was a funny episode.
I am glad the D&L Abomination Vaults set is coming out, as I GM Pathfinder 2e and am a player in a 5e game. Whichever current game ends first will transition to the Abomination Vaults adventure path next, so we can play in either system.
Another fun vid guys! So many things to do with d20s perhaps maybe some fun kobold shenanigans vua random d20 rolls. Hope y'all have a wonderful week. Trav and I will be celebrating our 13th anniversary tomorrow (the 22nd) the terrain shown here looks killer
Dude, You do not need to change anything. Your reviews of minis are by far the best on youtube, and the rest tags along just fine. Sure, someone might do some dumm stuff to rise number of views, but be ware that if You jump on stupid train - You might loose viewers that follow You for being who You are. My 50 cents, continue doing what You did so far. Yeah, these "let's get personal and get to know me" intros are kinda fun, and make some more relaxed atmosphere. But we follow people because of what they do or say, and how they do it. You are excellent as is.
Those sets look awesome! How about a d20 roll against a table of recipes in the D&D Cookbook? The roll would determine what you're making, which would be recorded and tried afterward.
I would definitely love to watch a review on those starfinder space goblins warband. Maybe WizKids can take a few notes on how to make a proper warband 😝
A d20 challenge where you guys roll a d20, then whatever number you get, pick a monster/mini that matches that number (using CR) and talk about why you like it or maybe design a small/quick encounter around it. Keep up the great content :)
I haven't gotten any of the Dungeons & Lasers sets yet, but because I saw your video's about them I am definitely looking into them. I really want both sets, but I am going to get more of the Dwarven Mines sets. As for what set to unbox next I would like to see either the city streets or the sewers wastes sets. The lava and townsfolk sets also peaks my interest.
Minis battle! 2 D20 roles each representing the same challenge rating of creatures and let the community discuss who’d win. Example: Role: 18! So that’s going to be 5 Orcs for a CR of 40 Role: 3! That will be 8 kobolds for a CR of 40 Another good one would be Community questions. Viewers submit their questions and you make a table, role X number of d20 an episode and answer the corresponding questions.
I would like to see the lava caverns reviewed next. I really want to see how the clear pieces look, I think turning it into some type of ice cave with see through walls would be a fun idea.
I'm kinda digging the Abomination Vaults, it would mesh really well with the campaign I'm in the middle of planning for later this year. It would also give me some practice on painting terrain.
Thanks to this video, my wife actually wants to paint some dungeon terrain with me! She also collects tarot decks, so she's been looking at the Fablemakers animated tarot now as well. I would love to see a review of the Townsfolk Starter Set, as I have been wanting to include more townsfolk minis in my urban D&D setups.
Oh wow! The Abomination Vault is definitely my favourite. I am gearing up for Spelljammer with its iconic Illithid content and I am hoping to run the old Illithiad Monstrous Arcana D&D campaign from 2nd edition again but in 5th edition this time soon too. So that set would be excellent for Illithid Colonies in Asteroids or the ruins of the ancient Illithid Empire Capital Penumbra and so much more! And the visual style looks like it’d go well with the decorations of the Elder Brain Pool on the Icons of the Realms Elder Brain miniature I have.
Awesome. Been looking at the D&L Pathfinder sets. Would love to get one. Have the Dwarven Mine already. As for the dice roll idea, maybe have a selection of costume pieces (or even just construction paper cutouts.) Dice roll determines if you put on a wizard hat and beard, goblin ears, or whatever else you have. Then have to be in character while you do the Outro.
How do these scale with all the WhizKids minis? How do the sets in this video look next to the large tower or inn sets that you reviewed a while ago? I'd like to see the terrain pieces first and then the towns people and monsters after that.
Roll for table setting. Roll a dice for a candle Roll a dice for environment (map theme) Roll a dice for background music And finally Roll a dice for plot hook. String all together for a fun, simple imersive setting for a one shot, or a plot point in a campaign
To get more subscribers and viewers you might want to try: What will Theo wear today? A D20 table of outfits determines what Theo will wear in the video. A bit more exciting than a lunch sandwich.
I would love to see the sewers set! Finding good sewer terrain is pretty difficult at times and I wished I'd known about Dungeons & Lasers when I had a game set in one.
Since you have so many minis and terrain, you could do a mini segment intro making a scene that players can recreate and put into their DnD game. With some ideas on making a one shot using the scene. Rolling a D20 to decide on what environment to make that episode.
I would like to see either the urban or volcanic tiles, or the dragon. About the dragon, tho, I have the zombie dragon from D&L and while it's absolutely gorgeous, they need to stop with the large bases! These minis need at least huge bases, otherwise they will have a lot of balance problems, I dont't want to spend hours painting a beautiful dragon, only for it to topple over and scratch the paintjob or, even worse, break some thin parts. I had to add sand IN the base to weight it down AND add a transparent base.
Roll a D20 to determine which mini is going to be up for a give away! Or a guess the next show’s d20 result for some freebies and select a random winner who guessed the right roll!
I'd love to see the town people minis. One of my favorite things to do is just populate the populated areas. While I have some fun townfolk, there's always room for more (and a lot of them have hit the table so many times, it becomes "oh, there's Harry the Blacksmith, and his twin Brother Barry!" (I have a Reaper metal blacksmith, and a Bones version of the same guy.)) I'd also love to see the Lava one, as I'm interested in the clear plastic, as I might actually like to make it water/ice for my upcoming campagin, unless it's clear/tinted red. As for what you can do to grow the channel? I don't know. I feel like a lot of stuff is gimmicky. I spread the word of your channel to my groups, but a lot of us are older, and don't sit around watching youtube, so I'm the only one that regularly clicks...I hope you can find something that works, cause your reviews are the best ones out there!
I would love a reviews of the Elven Woods whenever it comes out! Let your cat roll a D20 to determine the little dioramas you add to your maps! Btw I love your work man! You got me into collecting minis aside using them for the table. Thank's for taking your time on creating this content which I enjoy a lot. I love cats too and I love when they make an appearance on your vids!
My favorite of the dungeons and lasers is any of the wilderness/woodlands stuff. It’s hard to find good terrain for basic woodlands like that for a good price despite it being so prevalent in most dnd games!
That's just on Gamefound at the moment! Hopefully we'll get samples in a few months to be able to show you! Be sure to check out the campaign though, as this is the cheapest you'll be able to get it for (and you get lots of freebies). gamefound.com/projects/archon-studio/encounters?refcode=RUZYMPnp60qKRLUZfmoa6Q

Archon Studio makes a fantastic product. I've backed all of their D&L campaigns and couldn't be happier with the final products.
Agreed. Just putting together my Woodhaven townsfolk while I watch videos.
Make a dungeon with d20 rolls. Use the d20 to determine amount of room(s) size of room, traps, enemies, treasure etc use the d20 for everything.
Really digging the Dwarven Mines set-reminds me of some Skyrim dungeons.
That said, it’s hard to go wrong with Space Goblins, and I’d like to see more of them please!
I really like the mine set for the painting versatility
I don’t know about total viewership, but you guys consistently provide us with quality reviews about products we would be interested in….if we only knew about them! A really valuable service! Keep on being you!
The city street I think is my favorite. It covers a large area and can be used whenever my parties are in a city which is quite often.
Dungeons and Lasers sets look great, especially the Swamp set. Loving the Tarrasque 'mini' too
I would love to see the city streets. Waiting on mine to arrive, can't wait to use them. Thank you for the video.
When the new sets come out from their fundraiser I would love to see those gone over! I’ve already backed, but I love your guys’ reviews and opinions. I base my mini reviews off of you both!
I need to get my hands on the Abomination Vaults - I can see that fitting right into my campaign.
Would like a review of the lava caverns.
These look like a great set of fantasy terrain!
Using a d20 to determine what lesser known board game company should be highlighted in a video
I'm so happy that my pledge arrived a few days ago. Now I have terrain for most encounters possible
Using one of the kits to build a a room/area/scene from either a Pathfinder adventure path, or D&D campaign guide. For example using the royal castle to build a room/area from the Curse of Strad, or room from Abomination Vaults, or an area of the infernal region from Descent into the Abyss.
I was drawn to the Dwarven mine set the most, seems very versatile.
Thank you for another helpful overview, Theo and Grady! If I got to pick the next Dungeons & Lasers set for you to bust open and review, I would choose the sewers sets. I am interested to see how realistic the translucent water bits look up against the standard, opaque plastic floors and walls.
I like the abomination vaults I really dig the Cthulhu inspired theme
Let the D20 choose your shirt for each video.
Review the lava tiles.
Thanks for the giveaway and good luck all!
I really like the Dwarven mine set since they are often one of the most common dungeons.
Love tge sewers set, especially because it comes in a variety of colors and can go under the regular dungeon for extra dimensions
Second, re: D20 rolls... roll with advantage--gives you flexibility to choose something that's more in line with the vibes you're feeling at the time, or to make a super-combo.
* Mr. Roger's-styled Get Ready With Me
* Roll for Plush Kobold companion (watch out for the rogue's sneak attack--you'll never see it coming!)
* Tell a story about a game-playing experience
* Tell a story about a real-life experience (can be gaming-adjacent, like from a convention, or a painting experience, but doesn't have to be)
* Shout out a spell, class feature, etc. that's fun or underused
* Show off a mini or terrain painted by either of you (or a friend, if you're feeling shy)
* Display an encounter--actual or theoretical--with minis and terrain
* Goblin of the Day! What does that even mean...? I dunno, but it *feels* like a thing.
* Stare silently in judgement at a gnoll as it stares back at you in silent judgement
* A peek behind the scenes of a game, of game-prep, of encounter-building, of narrative-crafting, or of the production of a Gallant Goblin video

Third, re: Dungeons & Lasers terrain, I'd love to see that Tudor Mansion room/set, painted or otherwise. While I love a weird, desolate dungeon of cosmic horrors, I love it even more when it's attached to an otherwise "normal" home.
I’ve always been curious about the Dungeons and Lasers sets. That Abomination set looks cool because it’s got great character in its details!
Love the Dwarven Mine. Definitely jumping on the Kickstarter

I'd love to see the city streets set unboxed.
i am running abomination vaults so that is definitely my favorite set of the day! it looks so cool
I’d love to see a review for the lava caverns and towns people minis! The towns people are so versatile, and I’d love to see how the clear plastic looks when it’s lit from below.
i would love to see more on either the tudor manor or the townfolk sets
It would be cool if you covered the lava cavers and painted a couple.
I like the dwarf mine best. I like this company. Always interesting.
Abomination Vaults looks intriguing, hoping to run it sooner or later
The vault looks super awesome! I would love to get this to try the PF campaign !
D20's
1. To paint a mini (glitter blue skin, purple gloves, orange hat)
2. Make an omelet, waffle, pancake
3. Drink while you review mini's. Coffee, tea, chi, hot chocolate. What goes in it oat, soy, milk, honey, sugar.

The Abomination Vault is definitely the set I want. It's perfect for more than just the pathfinder path.
use a D20 to pick out your color schema it would be wild to see what comes up
Would like to see the City Streets previewed and compatibility with other terrain. Thanks!

I love the dungeons and lasers line, I would want to see you build a really big dungeon, using multiple sets, for a game
D&L stuff always looks good. I hope I can jump in on their next KS. 😃🔥
They are running on Game found now.
Definitely want to see the star finder figures and any scifi scenery that you might have.
I really like the half walls in the new sets.
Minis battle! 2 D20 roles each representing the same challenge rating of creatures and let the community discuss who’d win.
Example:
Role: 18! So that’s going to be 5 Orcs for a CR of 40
Role: 3! That will be 8 kobolds for a CR of 40
Another good one would be Community questions. Viewers submit their questions and you make a table, role X number of d20 an episode and answer the corresponding questions.
Love the doors on Abomination Vaults
I would like to see the lava caverns reviewed next. I really want to see how the clear pieces look, I think turning it into some type of ice cave with see through walls would be a fun idea.
It’d be cool to see a video of your favorite minis/ what minis you associate with your favorite moments/encounters
I'm kinda digging the Abomination Vaults, it would mesh really well with the campaign I'm in the middle of planning for later this year. It would also give me some practice on painting terrain.
Let’s see the Ghost Dragon for sure!
I love the Abomination Vault. That would actually be useful for my upcoming Mindflayer campaign! That Ghost Dragon, I cannot wait to see it unboxed
Would love to see the townsfolk starter set previewed.
D20 roll to feature a Kobold Plushie in each video as it has an adventure in your house.
I'd be interested in your review of the Royal Castle set.
Just trying to tie it in to "role playing".
Would love to see you review the Land of Giants set!
How do these scale with all the WhizKids minis?
How do the sets in this video look next to the large tower or inn sets that you reviewed a while ago?
I'd like to see the terrain pieces first and then the towns people and monsters after that.
Roll for table setting.
Roll a dice for a candle
Roll a dice for environment (map theme)
Roll a dice for background music
And finally Roll a dice for plot hook.
Would love to see a review of the lava caverns.
I'd be kinda interested in seeing a review for the Townsfolk set, perhaps you could roll a d20 to decide on which of the mini sets to review
love watching these and the mini reviews you should do a d20 drink
I would love to see the Lava Caverns.
I would love to see a review of the lava caverns! These look great! How about roll a D20 to determine which set to review? Keep up the great work!
I appreciate your work boss.
I would get the abomination set. I am running a abomination centric campaign right now.
It would be awesome to see the city street set
I'd probably go with the Mines as it might be more useful depending on the paint job.
The Dungeons and Lazers stuff looks interesting and I thought about backing... If only I didn't spend way too much on Dwarven Forge Wildlands.
D20 table of spicy foods/snacks to eat in the intro or outro! Nat 1 is most spicy, 20 is whatever your favorite snack is normally!
Roll a D20 to determine which mini is going to be up for a give away! Or a guess the next show’s d20 result for some freebies and select a random winner who guessed the right roll!
That is a nice set
Dungeons and Lasers has some good stuff
Thanks for sharing
I’d like to see the Tudor house and see if it’s big enough to be an inn or something similar
Roll Idea:
Roll for what shirt and hat you wear for the video
I'd love to see the town people minis. One of my favorite things to do is just populate the populated areas. While I have some fun townfolk, there's always room for more (and a lot of them have hit the table so many times, it becomes "oh, there's Harry the Blacksmith, and his twin Brother Barry!" (I have a Reaper metal blacksmith, and a Bones version of the same guy.))
I'd also love to see the Lava one, as I'm interested in the clear plastic, as I might actually like to make it water/ice for my upcoming campagin, unless it's clear/tinted red.
Please review and build one of the dragon kit sets.
I'd love to see some reviews of the creature minis, I pledged for the kickstarter & wanted to see What kind of style to expect.
I'd love to see a review of the D&L stretch goals from D&L Woodhaven once you get them.
My favorite of the dungeons and lasers is any of the wilderness/woodlands stuff. It’s hard to find good terrain for basic woodlands like that for a good price despite it being so prevalent in most dnd games!
I wouldn’t mind seeing the Tudor set painted and side by side with both the DF and Warlock Tiles versions
Halfling Pilot and Goblin Warband are my vote!
Review the outdoor terrain, I am running an adventure that is mostly outside and I am considering those
That's just on Gamefound at the moment!
I want to see it all eventually.
